Politics / Re: Buhari Cannot Deliver Good Governance - Sogunro (former Buhari Loyalist) PUNCH by DelGardo: 11:53am On Jan 29, 2017 |
Everyone has got the right to be critical of government even if they voted for them. It is also a huge step up to see even PMB supporters insist that everyone must be subjected to same rules whether they are close to the presidency or not, even when it concerns what should really be considered as an ethical issue, valued at N250m (about $500k). This is progress. Think back to when the president declared that goat must eat yam, when raw cash dollars was being withdrawn from CBN, cash dollars ferried in private jets, billions of dollars stolen from crude sales at source and president's wife was known to collect cash dollar bribes while chasing after every conceivable contract. Nothing happened. Are there areas of improvement? Yes.. loads. For instance I will still rate him low if Goodluck, Patience, Dasuki, Dieziani and co do not go to jail. 1 Like |

factsandfigures: The announcement of his 10-day leave also made it clear that he will attend to his health while away. So he took a rest and medical vacation. How else should it be put to satisfy mischief makers? PMB walked into this plane but they still produced fake news of his death the next day. No, the announcement is not the problem. |

I bet it was bought by the "stealing is not corruption" gang. Now they can't claim ownership under the watchful eyes of Ali, Buhari and the EFCC. So they did a runner. Congrats for another platform NAF. Please weaponize and use for our benefit. 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: My Thoughts On The Proposed Nationwide Protest by DelGardo: 9:01pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
You raised very valid points even if I disagree with a couple of your views. Most people on this forum have no idea how the economy works. They also lack the presence of mind to see when the country is making progress. When they sense progress they often prefer to profess blatant hopelessness due to hatred. Hatred for Buhari. They want jobs but, at the same time, they want to see lower exchange rates so that they can import more biscuits, cashew nuts, [insert any useless item e.g floor mops, etc] from China. How do you create employment in a non-productive environment with near zero infrastructure? Most people have forgotten that when we were the largest consumers of champagne in the world under IB we also had only N18b budgeted for road construction in a whole year! We drank champagne with the money we could have used to develop infrastructure to drive development. But it is Buhari's fault... so let's demonstrate Tuface did not open a shoe manufacturing company back then. He opened a club and then another club! Today not much champagne is being drank in his club so he turns an economic revolutionary that will lead a mega demonstration against a president who has increased local rice production from the less than 500k tonnes to nearly 5m tonnes per annum. There are loads of things that need fixing but creating greater nuisance platforms within the socio-political space no go epp. 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: NNPC Takes Delivery Of Two LPG Carriers(photos) by DelGardo: 10:40am On Jan 21, 2017 |
JaaizTech: NLNG in Bonny produces and exports LPG so we must not import. We need the vessels to move gas from NLNG to receiving terminals in Lagos and Calabar though. That should reduce the price of gas locally. |

coolscott: You appear to have some idea about these matters but a few questions will reveal that you have set out to mislead people here on. - Can you please mention one type of grass that we have in Nigeria that compares with alfafa (mind you alfafa is not the grass targeted) in terms of meat and dairy production? - are you aware that non of the grass grown traditional produces seeds? - Are u aware that because they don't have seeds only vegetative propagation is possible with local grass and that that makes growing them very problematic? - Are you aware that only grass seeds will be imported for growing in Nigeria based on FG's proposal not actual grass? - Are you also aware that the biggest cattle farm in the world in Saudi Arabia feeds the animals with imported grass? - Are you aware that Cassava and Palm oil producing countries imported seeds from Nigeria and have gone ahead to overtake us in production of these crops? If properly done we will witness reduced friction between herdsmen and local communities, experience higher yield in meat and milk as well as have export potentials that will grow GDP and foreign reserves. Stop all the sensationalism. 1 Like |

Says an organisation that her leader was bootlegging stolen cash for Jonathan using a private aircraft donated by the same corrupt president. How about you hypocrites start re-distributing the dubious tithes you force out of believers to the poorest of your congregation, in order to ease their economic burden? Maybe then they will really see God's face amidst all the the hardship. No more free money. Simples. 1 Like |

Anyone who has been to Singapore and asked questions will know that they have some of the most effective social security programs in the world, especially in the area of housing. CCT is a laudable project which even the World Bank supports. They must know a thing or two about extreme poverty, no? Oh, I forgot, it is a Buhari success story so let's chuck it under the molue bus. |

idupaul: That is very dishonest. Michellin and Dunlop were still producing in Nigeria as at year 2002. If they failed 20years after Buhari why do you ascribe their failure to his 1984 administration? Strangely now he is looking to promote local manufacturing by keeping custom duty for industrial equipment at 5% you still attack him with such dubious vigor. You need to manage your hatred for this man before you lose all credibility. 4 Likes |

Even if rice sells for 1k and you reduce the price to N500 you will see a rush. I hope you heard that Boko Haram are defeated in Sambisa, where your ineffectual hero and bastard Okukpe told us they could not enter.
