It is also a huge step up to see even PMB supporters insist that everyone must be subjected to same rules whether they are close to the presidency or not, even when it concerns what should really be considered as an ethical issue, valued at N250m (about $500k).

Think back to when the president declared that goat must eat yam, when raw cash dollars was being withdrawn from CBN, cash dollars ferried in private jets, billions of dollars stolen from crude sales at source and president's wife was known to collect cash dollar bribes while chasing after every conceivable contract. I blame the president team for all the confusion about the President's state of health. The president is mortal and there is nothing wrong if he seeks medical check up or if he is ill.
The president media team should have come open to announce the real state of health of the president. Instead of hiding under the premise that the president is going on vacation, they should have announced that the president is going on a sick leave. The president should be allowed to take good care of his health.

The announcement of his 10-day leave also made it clear that he will attend to his health while away. So he took a rest and medical vacation.

How else should it be put to satisfy mischief makers? PMB walked into this plane but they still produced fake news of his death the next day.

We need the vessels to move gas from NLNG to receiving terminals in Lagos and Calabar though. That should reduce the price of gas locally.

Firstly, the approximate nutrient content of every herb, grass or forage identified as being able to serve as food for farm animals is known and properly documented. The process for determining nutrient content is called PROXIMATE ANALYSIS.

Do you know the nutrient composition of our legumes and grasses as compared to those found elsewhere? Do you know what makes them high in nutrients and what may make then not so rich in nutrients?

If we assume some factors are affecting our grasses so they are not as nutritious as they should be, so the solution is to import the grass right?

Our rice production has not been up to par with that of many other countries worldwide and what did the fed govt do? It banned the importation of rice. It banned it because everybody knows that with improved cultural practices the rice (which we consume) will yield more.

Now our healthy grasses are doing very well and someone comes up with the lie that they are not doing well and because they are not doing well, we should allocate millions upon million to import...?

Now let me let you know that legumes are always rich in nutrients. It is in their nature to.

As for grasses, when they are young, they are very nutritious. When they grow older, they lose their nutritive value but the fiber content does increase and fiber is also good for the animals.

Grasses that grow among legumes can benefit from the legumes as the legumes provide a nice supply of nitrogen to the soil, which is good for other plants growing in the same soil.

Genetically modified plants are looked down upon in the developed world. In fact, just about all of Europe has banned THE IMPORTATION of all genetically modified agric produce, and for good reason too. Beef from cattle that got feed genetically modified plants will not be spared the contamination and categorisation as GM product because genetically modified material was involved in making it.

I know the govt and minister did not mention anything about GM grass and that is just your inclusion but it is good to make it clear that any kind of rigmarolling only brings us to the conclusion that the whole idea came from a profoundly stupid place that the rest of us still cannot identify or explain.

There are only 2 options here: Either stupidity or fraud.

You appear to have some idea about these matters but a few questions will reveal that you have set out to mislead people here on.

- Can you please mention one type of grass that we have in Nigeria that compares with alfafa (mind you alfafa is not the grass targeted) in terms of meat and dairy production?

- are you aware that non of the grass grown traditional produces seeds?

- Are u aware that because they don't have seeds only vegetative propagation is possible with local grass and that that makes growing them very problematic?

- Are you aware that only grass seeds will be imported for growing in Nigeria based on FG's proposal not actual grass?

- Are you also aware that the biggest cattle farm in the world in Saudi Arabia feeds the animals with imported grass?

- Are you aware that Cassava and Palm oil producing countries imported seeds from Nigeria and have gone ahead to overtake us in production of these crops?

If properly done we will witness reduced friction between herdsmen and local communities, experience higher yield in meat and milk as well as have export potentials that will grow GDP and foreign reserves.
