Bla bla bla.

We know you people. Buhari is bad Buhari is bad yet you cannot point to one thing he has not done right given the circumstances.

Fyi, in the quietness of your days, I encourage you to give thanks to God for the change of government. By now all of you would have been hiding in crummy places from Boko Haram while Deziani, Jonathan, Okukpe and Dasuki's children (biological and adopted) will still be having orgies in the presidential jets across different seas.

Just small Fulani crisis and you are crying. Meanwhile whole states were ravaged for years in the NE. To the people of Chibok, for example, Buhari is a messiah. And that makes a world of difference.

Sai Buhari. No regrets... Happy days.

But you will be wrong in assuming that anyone that calls a spade a garden implement instead is an enemy. You called the guy a paid ass-licker!
Live and let live... that's what i am on about.

The fact that Buhari owns 150 eternal cows (as most people are happy to conclude) and also asked for contributions to buy nomination form does not mean that he cannot train his children with his own funds.
He will be an irresponsible father, in my view, if he funds political pursuits to the detriment of his children's education.

Why cant we all get along?

No amount of unwarranted attacks on Buhari, his family or his supporters will bring back the ineffectual one.

So let us congratulate young Yusuf Buhari for not letting the money his parents spent on his education to be in vain.

Walahi if this man had not been a soldier,,he would av better off as a yahoo man. Old scammer. What even made me to to seriously campaigned for him was what i heard about him of price control,,that during his rule as head of state, there was uniformity in price of commodities.

Let's assume, for the sake of this discussion, that you drive a car N4.5m (that you saved your income for many months to buy) but right now your account balance is N70K would that make you a yahoo man (given that you own a car that costs more than your bank account balance)?

The point here being that it is shallow to draw conclusions from the closing balance in an account, whether the account belongs to Buhari, edo3 or Bill Gates.

Buhari never promised to enforce price control, so it is curious that you should support him on account of that. Besides how can a president control prices of commodities he did not produce except he is tyrant?

Buhari is doing a great job.. support and pray that he succeeds. Don't join the corrupt losers hoping he will die so that the looting fest will come back. Don't join them for they don't care about you!

NO

He is as clueless af
He has allowed primordial sentiments to dominate policy decisions.
Under him it appears Nsukka people are on a revenge mission. They have forcefully taken over numerous civil service positions in an unfair manner with the support of Gburugburu
Enugu has suffered infrastructural decay under this man
He is still holding on to the 2nd bail-out fund from Buhari in the hope that the old man will die. But he will not die.
He has done a few things in Nsukka area but his celebrated projects there are not broad or strategic enough for Nsukka's needs
He very myopic and eats anyhow
He hates pensioners. He is owing my mum and others over 9 months of pension payments. Entitlements that are so meagre that most pensioners cannot buy a gallon of oil with. But he won't pay them. That's part of the bail out funds he is hoping to garnish. Wickedness!

Above and Ugwuanyi and his associates are land grabbers. They appear to be on a mission to take over all vacant land in choice areas of the metropolis. For that they must surely get their comeuppance.

Land that some poor old men and women as well as hustling young men/women suffered all their lives to acquire, document and conserve for their children. Ugwuanyi will take. Chukwu g'akpo ya oku if he doesn't change now!

Another annoying act was to take over some part of Queens secondary school for his private estate development. Queens! A heritage site in 042 and Nigeria. Just imagine Ambode annexing a part of Kings college to build private homes. Tufia.

No, he does not deserve another term; he deserves to rot in a bad place.

I don't care much about Enugu state politics but I always figured that the lack of opposition will come back and bite. Ummunne'm enjoy your "Gburugburu bu member..."

TheLawTheLegal:

Obviously you didn't understand him. It is evident that the writer affirms that Jonathan was weak and he also attacked Reno for failing to point out infrastructural put in place by Jonathan.
The worst of Jonathan is the best of Buhari.
He made those points to show how Ndigbo were behind Jonathan all through his tenure, but Reno took it upon himself to dance naked in the market by attacking Ndigbo, because of a comment made by Nnamdi kanu in 2014.

He compared Jonathan's weak nature then as vice president to the weakness of Osibanjo now. But an Igbo person, Prof Dora Akunyili, summoned up courage to save the country then. Who in Buharis cabinet can do that now?

You said that JEGA conducted a free and fair election, but pre the election, evidence were presented to Jonathan on how JEGA was working with the opposition. But Jonathan refused to fire him for fear of the outcome. This is weakness.

This is a balanced view.

I understand him perfectly. He is a wailer. And you sound like one. So I will leave you to celebrate ineptitude.

Jona created private jet millionaires with no known source of income Buhari is creating millionaires in agriculture and raising industrial output

Jona imported fertilizer under a subsidy regime yet it sold for N21k per bag. Buhari has revived 12 out of 28 dead fertilizer plants and they are blending and selling at N5.5k per bag without subsidy

Jona made little progress in agric development beyond rhetorics and cassava bread. Buhari has raised local rice production by over 5m metric tons per year and has dropped import of same.

Jonathan lost 14 LGAS and over 200 girls to Boko Haram. Buhari has recovered every meter of Nigeria land from the same group and has negotiated the release of the Chibok girls who the useless writer alluded to be unreal.

One depleted foreign reserves, SWF and ECA during very high oil prices and the other has added to all of them during this period of very low oil prices

Yet you proudly declare that the worst of Jonathan is better than the best of Buhari

You people should not remind us of what we chose to forget.

Spent three pages dancing around his hatred for Buhari without saying what the "monumental" achievements of the ineffectual buffoon were.

He even attacked Jega for conducting fair elections and scoffed at Chibok tragedy, in tandem with them Tanoid wailers, while making snide remarks about Osinbajo for no apparent reason.

Politics / FG To Commence Coal Mining Operations In Enugu by DelGardo: 8:26pm On Jun 02, 2017
The Federal Government says it has finalised plans with South African investors to commence mining operations at the abandoned coal mines in Enugu.

The Director General, Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu who led South African investors Simang Group said the new development is in fulfillment of President Muhammadu Buhari’s promises made to Igbos to revamp coal for power generation.

Which is why the investors are in Enugu to meet with the Governor and discuss modalities of operations.
The Managing Director of the company, Andrew Mosangwa emphasised on the need for local partnership and its importance to job creation and power generation.

The Governor of the state, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi expressed his readiness to partner with the group for the realisation of the goal.

Coal mining in Nigeria since the discovery of oil has been relegated as a source of revenue and power generation but has returned on the front burner of both state and Federal Government.

Wait for Omohayek, or can't you read.

We are talking about el-Rufai. You said he is not a bigot. Whether Soludo is or is not a bigot does not affect the fact that el-Rufai is a bigot. Both are mutually exclusive. If you want to talk about Soludo, we'd drop el-Rufai's case and we'd talk about Soludo. Use your brain, it is not a fancy organ positioned for aesthetic purposes. Use it to reason.

I'm just giving you a primer as to what you'd receive.

But as I've said, wait for Omohayek and reply him when he comes for your head. We'll have our day when he's done with you and you're still willing to play ball. I mean look at the pummeling you received with links and everything, and you were just replying with a bunch of random sh*t that was just slowly deepening your grave.

And referring to wailers as intellectual midgets is the worst joke I've heard all year. I mean wailers aren't the ones who voted for a demented fossil with factory-fitted idiocy whose failures are too numerous to count. I mean I've been a wailer before people like Tinubu, Obasanjo, Ezekwesilie, Soludo, even el-Rufai started wailing. Who is the intellectual midget now? Everyone knows Buhari is a failure. Even the f**lish artisans that were screaming Sai Baba in 2015 knows that, but somehow the kool aid that was resetting the brains of zombies missed you. Your case is very special. Your m*mu don don.

Let me repeat with simple English since it appears that you have acute comprehension problem.

Wait for Omohayek's reply, it's your main discussion. When he's done with you, and you still think you can take more beating, I'll be here to fulfill your last wish. Don't jump the gun. Pretend to be learned even if you are not.

Wait on for Omohayek, he's done it once, he'd f*ck you over again. And if you still want me to finish things off after you've had your a$$ handed to you, I'll not refuse a gentleman's request.

So Soludo who your revered Omohayek thinks will be a perfect president is not a bigot? Same Soludo that supports Nnamdi Kalu's parochial pursuits in the name of Igbo emancipation? In case you don't know yet Kalu is also a sworn hater of any group not associated with Biafra. How then is Soludo less of a tribalist than El-Rufai except the fact that he is Igbo and Igbo's are "not" ethnocentric. Yeah right!

Let me be the one to break it to you, Sir: every Nigerian thinks his group first. So to that extent we are all ethnocentric. Meaning you should shove your NL validation of crass stupidity where the sun don't shine.

You can carry on with you NL d*ck measurement with whoever you please but that amounts to nothing if your world view is so narrow. To make matters worse you are a even wailer, which means that you are an intellectual midget.

I'm sure you're stupid enough to know that GEJ only removed subsidy partially. He had no balls to remove it 100% even when he knew that it was being used to defraud the government. The subsidy fraudsters were of course his cronies.

Buhari on the other hand removed subsidy completely and heaven did not fall. That is what making tough decisions mean in case you are too fücked up in the head to know.

If you're not as stupid as your moronic hero, you'll realize that the whole process of unbundling PHCN then was a sham. Yes, GEJ privatized PHCN, but 4 years after, what has been the effect of such decision? Abysmal power generation, high electricity tariff, and extortion of consumers by the DISCOS who still operate estimated billings and have refused provide prepaid meters to consumers cos they know it will limit their fraud.

It would have been a tough decision if GEJ had unbundled PHCN and handed over the assets to it's new owmers based purely on merit, national interest, technical and managerial expertise and possession of a solid capital base for investing in our power sector. But alas, your dumb weak hero made that decision based mostly on political expediency and so PHCN ended up in the hands of cronies and political allies who have no fvcking idea on how to solve our power problem but have unlimited ideas of how they can recover 50 times the meagre investment they made initially.

Emeka Offor, Abdulsalam Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida and Tinubu are some of those who have no IQ on how to solve our power sector problems but have vested interest in a lot of the DISCOS and GENCOS.

Hope you're not too stewpid to admit that your hero was a spinless slowpoke?

If you classify implementation of BVN and IPPPS as tough decisions then you are monolithic zombie. How many Nigerians kicked against BVN and IPPPS?

Was Ekiti election free and fair? Have you forgotten about Ekitigate so quickly or are you just playing the dumb ostrich?

If you're talking about 2015 elections, please get it into your fvcked up skull that PDP and GEJ were rejected because of what they stood for (crass incompetence and unbridled looting).

[1] Buhari's aversion to privatization shackles what can be done with the NPA, which would be better off in the hands of private international operators, just as the airports would be much better run if sold to private companies like the ones running London's Heathrow, Gatwick and Standsted airports.
[2] Buhari's refusal to allow the Naira to float has severely crippled the inflow of foreign investment, which is badly needed as the $1 billion that was allocated to Fashola's ministry for all of Nigeria is less than what was spent on a single train terminal in London, or half the amount spent on a single airport in Japan's Kansai region. Nigeria needs spending on the order of $40-50 billion just to make up its infrastructure deficit, yet people expect Fashola to perform miracles with the little he's given?

Oh, is it Buhari's "trust" and "respect" for "competence" and "integrity" that made him ignore Ibe Kachikwu's repeated advice to deregulate the price of fuel, leading to needless long queues everywhere, or Kachikwu's suggestion to sell off the refineries, rather than wasting more money on "turn around" maintenance that never achieves anything?

On the contrary, these comments of yours are the ones that are revealing, as they show you to be just another tribalistic Nigerian incapable of the slightest objectivity. You have to be blind to see me blame Obasanjo for foisting weak leaders on Nigeria in an effort to continue pulling the strings in secret, and consider that "glowing": anybody who can see something positive in accusing Obasanjo of wrecking Nigeria's future for his own selfish purposes is the sort of addled tribalist who would happily insist that 2+2=5 if it suited his ethnocentric biases.

As for your claim that there's something "baseless" about calling El-Rufai an ethnocentrist, you must live in a different universe from mine, one where the man never openly said on Twitter the following:

https://twitter.com/elrufai/status/224577000218689537

and who didn't later reward Fulani nomads for killing people in southern Kaduna by paying them off:

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/12/weve-paid-fulani-stop-killings-southern-kaduna-el-rufai/

To a shameless tribal bigot like you, I doubt anything could ever count as an indictment of El-Rufai in your eyes.

I don't really have the space to go through your response in the manner it yearns, however I will quickly address some of your points.

We have privatised NEPA. Has that worked any magic? You mention Heathrow but you forget that NHS is still run buy the govt while health insurance in Nigeria is privatised. We have privately run companies that can't pay salaries nor their debts e.g Aero and Arik. So privatising is not a magic wand. Any president in a developing country that dives into full capitalist logic is stupid like Jonathan.

Egypt copied the "floating" template that you suggested. I encourage you to compare inflation (Egypt 31%; Nig 17%), and FDI between Nigeria and Egypt before you confuse people further.

You argue that Buhari does not favour free market and privatising. How about the planed concession of narrow gauge rail lines to GE? How come he hasn't cancelled the meaningless privatisation of the power sector? The real problem is that privatisation experience in Nigeria has always fallen short of expectations due to narrow interests, and any serious leader will be careful with that packaged as the almighty formula.

Basically what you put up there as proof of your assertions lack robust analysis of the root causes while you have managed to impose your very short sighted opinion - laced this with a large dose of bias - as fact.

So that statement is part of your evidence to malign El-Rufai. As an Igbo man I will say to anyone who sets out to kill Igbo people that there will be a reckoning. Does that make me a tribalist? Even after he clarified that he paid the injured parties to compensate them for loss of their cattle in order to allow peace reign; you are still part of the angry and adamant bunch castigating the action. When millitants were paid for peace to reign in the ND it was condemned by many (me too), and in fact one can condemn paying off agitators of any kind, but it will be unfair to term that approach ethnocentric or focus more on the act than on the intended outcomes.

Dude, you are clearly intelligent and engaging but your views on these issues are extreme and your language too colourful.

There is hardly any sensible economic decision that won't get at least some people to start screaming blue murder, but Nigeria simply can't afford to keep on drifting in the name of keeping those who are ignorant of economics happy. That's how billions were squandered on oil subsidies when oil prices were high, only for the same masses who were out protesting subsidy abolition to now be complaining that the government's coffers are empty. Politicians are elected to lead the masses towards a better future, not merely to pander to their momentary, ever-changing, ignorant whims.

The necessity of making hard decisions and sticking to them is precisely why Nigeria needs strong and competent leadership, which is what Nigeria has been lacking for so long: where Jonathan was weak and incompetent (but his weakness gave freedom to his more competent appointees) Buhari is "strong" but both sick and incompetent, robbing even his best ministers of the freedom to be truly effective. Obasanjo, for all his many, many faults, at least recognized talented people when he saw them (which is why he recruited Okonjo-Iweala), and gave them both the freedom and the backing to do a good job. Unfortunately, Obasanjo's desire to keep ruling from behind the throne led him to push first the sick (and economically illiterate Marxist) Yar'adua and then the thieving weakling Jonathan into the Presidency.

If Nigeria is ever going to seriously grow, it will need new blood from the younger politicians to make it to the top, someone like Fashola, Soludo, or a northerner with El-Rufai's brains and administrative skill, but without El-Rufai's ethnocentrism.

Any practical examples of how Buhari is stifling his ministers? From where I am standing Aisha, the NPA boss, does not appear to be shackled in any conceivable way, neither is Fashola nor was Amina Mohammed, for instance.

In my view no minister should hang their poor performance on Buhari's heavy hold. Because, if his relationship with Osinbajo is anything to go by, Buhari's trusts and respects competence and integrity.

Well... your belief in Soludo, as an leader, even without having held a national political leadership position, as well as your baseless depiction of highly competent El-Rufai as an ethnocentric leader, topped by your glowing (relatively) comments on the monstrosity called OBJ says a lot about your inclination.
