1, with the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus our sins both past, present and future sins are forgiven but for it to remain like that we must do away from sin. How do we do away from sin? How can we though we have been saved but live in a wicked world full of sin. This is where God gave us his life and power to enable live in this sinful world free from sin and dominate sin.
2, no I don't agree that Christianity should be practiced in private. The moral fabric of the society during the time of Jesus was to crucify him. 1, if humans sin and there is no human being ready to pay the price of their sins, how will the price of there sins be paid. Or are you ready to die for the sins of the world. Can you die for someone else.
There is no human being that is ready to do what Jesus did not even you. You cannot take a slap for your neighbor not to talk of dying for him. If there is no human being that is ready to die for the sins of the world how would the sins of the world be paid.
2, human sin and ask God for forgiveness, if God forgive human and human sin again and again, how long will God continue to forgive human. Don't you know that God also run out of patience. He also destroyed sodom and Gomorrah with fire, what do you think God would use to destroy this generation. God would have wipe us away from the face of the earth. This generation that is full of sin. By now I don't think there would be anyone in earth. God is a merciful God but he also grow out of patience and get angry. If not for the death and resurrection of Jesus, there won't be any Earth by now. That life that you so like would be blown away by God.
So this world needed Jesus

how does that in anyway confirm that it was alcohol Jesus was drinking. Even verse 33 the uses the word wine when talking about John the baptized but in verse 34, wine was not Included when talking about Jesus.

So be careful not to set up standards that God didn't set for his worshipers if your own brain can't contain alcoholic beverages it's not a sin on your part but that doesn't make it abominable for others in fact God's word says alcoholic beverages makes the heart of people rejoice! Psalms 104:15

haven't you seen cases where a man get drunk and beat up his wife. Even torn her cloth and make her naked. People do other stuff they don't normally do and tag it to alcohol. I won't not want to normally fornicate but if am drunk, I would tempted to do it.
