This is modelling gone sour! |
Reading this looks like a movie-script but it actually is real - "Senator Yahaya Abdullahi supported the bill, but added insult to injury by urging the Senate to be “mindful” of public perception, due to wrong timing of the bill! But his hopeless statement was rendered even more useless by Senator Abu Ibrahim, who supported the bill and unashamedly said that "the time is right!". #Lmao. No single entity has ever defeated Nigeria by manoeuvrings, not even the 'third term grandeur'. So, we shall see the end point of this Machiavellian. Though it tarries but it must surely come to pass!. |
It is not my dear. It has to do bladder malfunctions. It's high time they consulted a GP/gynaecologist. slyIsaac: |
Bro, he can. He is covered by esprit de corps. Full Definition of esprit de corps: the common spirit existing in the members of a group and inspiring enthusiasm, devotion, and strong regard for the honour of the group. Except he bumps into an over-zealous 'novice soldier', who may tend to ignorantly 'embarrass' him but If all things were to be equal, he is still a member of the force ("Army Strong" anywhere; any time!. And as such he is safe in owing up the identity. However, to tow the path of wisdom, it would have been the best he conceals his identity throughout the period of his stay. An unassuming posture is ever, the best. |

Who knows where that hand was coming from and he's sucking it. Ok sha, alcoholic drinks he takes will neutralize the worms that will grow in his stomach. |
The evil that becloud this nation is so thick. I thought senate/hor said nothing like that exists. God have mercy. Ok, whether it exits or not, let them put it in now so that PMB can sign the budget. Simple. |
Oh, sorry dear. But that is the standard applied practice any time such rancour occurs in higher institutions. And that's one side effect of protests. Once violent protests erupt, the next thing is: immediate home going, with no wasting of time, for security reasons. Whoever stays is unaccountable for. The idea of protest may be good but the exuberance of the youth/students in such a case may not be contained- hence, peaceful protest tends to violence. Am not indifferent to the students' plight however, it is wiser to be alive and recount the ordeal than to be nonchalant and die. RaggedyAnn: |
You have been told to go, go home! Or you don't have a home?. Your stay there is illegal. And anything illegal abinitio is illegal in its entity. Stay, until something bad happens to you. Then, you will know that Nigeria has no honour for her fallen heroes let alone you. |

This guy is so proud of Nigeria/Africa. He tattooed the map of Africa in his upper hand-shoulder showing Nigeria very well in it. Kudos to him. Lest I forget, that his six pack is the original version. |

Hey, journalism is your calling. Even a freelance one can suffice. You're pecked with details. diportivo: |

Oga GOC, since you knew they don't have enough supply of water and food because of the road blockage by mines and they have complained, why fly go there empty?. When you were going there, why didn't you use that helicopter to get at least a manageable quantity of water and food for just the mean time pending when cargo fighter will bring the needed quantities. Instead you flew empty to go and warn them. People in high places always see themselves as God in Nigeria. May be, if you accompany food water with you in the chopper you will not be GOC again, baa? Rememeber, the chopper is not your personal effect and the maintenance and fuel it flies on are being cartered for by tax payers' money. Unexposure breeds 'malignant superiority complex syndrone' - the major ailment that most people in authority in Nigeria sick. The more exposed someone is, the less arrogant and hostile he becomes. Do I need to say that in advanced economies, leaders see themselves as servants of the people and pride themselves as being instrumental to the needed change. |
With this lips am seeing, surely this guy is "infected". |
Good of you 'CharlyMan'. May your days be long. I said a thing like this in the last post, below: https://www.nairaland.com/3018124/kachikwu-apologizes-magician-remark-promises#44233573 How can Nigerians continue to debase world renowned technocrats and persons of great repute. The other time somebody has the mouth to say some disparaging things about Prof. Wole Soyinka. All in the name of politics. This attitude is very demeaning and must stop. |
Driver = blind and dumb Lady = No future ambition |
Hey hey, you are very considerate though!. Don't get it twisted, please. I also acknowledge the fact that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. However, rememeber that the same bible said, "shall we continue in sin just because His grace is sufficient"? If you read the post very well, my point is: the policeman has got a wife and five children. Bearing these five children is never a joke and shows the level of his social status - he is very mature, a husband and father - hence my comment (unwarranted death). If it were to be an unmarried person or even a younger married person, though the act is still reprehensible but not to the extent of that of a man with five children and a co-habiting wife. When people start getting elderly/have more responsibility trust upon them, they ought to hesitate in indulging in certain act. Hope am understood! misscall247: |
Gosh, very unwarranted death. Truly, the wages of sin is death. |
Bro, don't worry. It's well. Nigerians don't like technocrats but politicians. They like who will promise to build bridges for them in Sahara desert and to start solar power generation once winter comes. However, kindly put in your best technical know-how to solve this problem once and for all. Remember, your position is very juicy but critical. Please, do not allow it slip into the hands of squandermaniacs and treasury looters. Good luck. |
The hijacking of a domestic Egyptian flight that forced it to divert to Larnaca airport in Cyprus has ended with all hostages being released and the hijacker surrendering. EgyptAir Flight MS181 was taken over by a passenger claiming to be wearing a suicide explosive belt. After a morning of tension, the hijacker was seen walking down the steps of the aircraft with his hands raised. His motives remain unclear. Some reports said the Egyptian man - named by Cypriot officials as Seif Eldin Mustafa - wanted to talk to his estranged Cypriot wife who lives on the Mediterranean island, while others said he was seeking the release of female prisoners in Egypt. The Cypriot president insisted that the hijack was not terrorism-related. The hijacker's surrender came shortly after several people were seen fleeing the aircraft. One - apparently a crew member - escaped by climbing out of the aircraft's cockpit window. In a tweet, the Cypriot foreign ministry confirmed the end of the crisis: "It's over. The hijacker arrested." Throughout the morning, people had been seen leaving the aircraft after appearing to have been released. Local media reports said the hijacker had handed over a four-page letter in Arabic after the plane landed at Larnaca on Tuesday morning, and that later a woman thought to be his wife had arrived at the airport. Earlier, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades had responded to a reporter's question about whether the hijacker was motivated by romance, by laughing and saying: "Always there is a woman involved." EgyptAir said the Airbus A320 was carrying 56 passengers from Alexandria to Cairo, along with six crew and a security official. It had initially said 81 passengers were on board. A statement from Egypt's civil aviation ministry said 26 foreign passengers were on board, including eight Americans, four Britons, four Dutch citizens, two Belgians, two Greeks, a French national, an Italian and a Syrian. Larnaca airport, on the south coast of Cyprus, has been closed and scheduled flights diverted elsewhere. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-35915139

Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven". |
Hey bro, you are learned and full of wisdom. God bless you. rottennaija: |
Let Floyd Mayweather see what is happening so that he will use his tongue to count his teeth. No need of displaying wads of currency as if he is in enemity with banks. |
A loyal horse, indeed. When you are loyal and faithful to a person, there is nothing the person cannot do for you - he goes off his way to satisfy you. |
You said it all. Thank you. No one gives what he/she doesn't have. Invariably, no one understands what he/she doesn't practise. tunergy: |
My dear, please do whatever you find that makes your hubby happy, irrespective of anything. It is a wife full of wisdom and piety that can find such out, not all. He is not a dunce, he will invariably reciprocate in one way or the other even without you knowing. His manners may not be appealing sometimes but don't worry. With maturity and explanation he will change. Truth be told, people in love do weirdest things to themselves - may feel shy to say. Keep it up, it will be of good to you both- especially in bonding. Mind how you get social media advice. It can be disastrous, sometimes. God bless u and ur family. Happy Easter. treese: |
Reading your comment made my day. I was wondering the type of things people were typing. I felt so disappointed that the op has entered "one chance vehicle". People will present their situation as if it is the right norm or standard practice- what a disappointment. Thank God for people like you. Well done! Indeed, the social media has been hijacked by ignobles. mrkhaynoni: |

anywhere; any time!. And as such he is safe in owing up the identity.
