Actually, this may seem funny but that is how it supposed to be. Leaders should not see themselves as different from people they lead. In Europe you can walk, talk, hold hand, or even chat with the members of parliament. It's no big deal. However, even an LGA Chairman in Nigeria goes with a police orderly and lives a life that distances himself from the people. So, I think the governor is being himself. He can translate his 'low life' into an advantage because he knows the people problems and needs and thus can tackle that first hand without sycophancy. |
I blame the church she attends for her ignorance concerning marital affairs. In some churches, couples who want to marry are made to undergo marriage class for some interval of time where they are prepared and the 'hidden mystery' of marriage exposed and explained to them. In this case, this lady is as ignorant as the teaching she gives in her 'teaching ministry'. Unnecessarily, she upholds guilt to herself and also, unknowingly becomes a barrier to their enjoyment of sex to the fullest. She needs to be tutored in marital affairs. So far as the act of conjugal exercise is within the marital vows, dear lady, bear no guilt unto your self! |
How I wish these returned loots will be put into judicious use for the betterment of the common man!. |
Brother, your wisdom is unblemished!. It is these hunters that will take care of the rampaging herdsmen not the normal security outfit. How many times have Nigerians seen Policemen around their farms. This is not a conventional warfare as such it is the non-conventional security outfit that will produce the desired results. Anyway, "the hood does not make the monk". ZUBY77: |
This man lacks the depth to be a Senator of the Federal Republic. Sometimes I ask why this brain that God graciously gave everyone free of charge does not work in some people's own. How dare you say such, Mr Akpan. In fact, to help you out: government will repatriate all funds looted and stashed away in foreign lands using the instrument of law and the culprits will be prosecuted with respect to the subsisting financial crimes' laws. Shameless man! |
....And the rest became history. Sometimes, other people's evaluation of someone is not always the reality insofar as the person knows what he is pursuing and remains focused. |
You just need to ask him to explain to you the ogbanje attributes he saw in you. |
He may love you but that can't stop him from telling you that you are an ogbanje (if he actually sees ogbanje attributes in you). |
So what happened to the $5m President Deby allegedly received? As the negotiation for the Chibok girls' release did not materialise, did he return it?. Has anybody written to him for reimbursement? Or that one has entered voicemail, right? It's unfortunate- Nigeria passed through an era of wastage and laissez-faire in the midst of her suffering populace. Money that could have been channelled to enviable infrastructural and human capacity development were frisked away unperturbed. Patriotism/genuine love for their country motivated leaders of Europe and America in fostering state-of-the-art infrastructural development in their respective regions even with scarce resources. Yet Nigeria with abundant resources is bereft of purposeful leadership. What a pity! It sends cold shivers to the international community on hearing the amount of money being continuously wasted/looted in Nigeria. Most of these developed countries don't even have such to spare for critical projects let alone loot. I have lost hope in human transformation in Nigeria hence I conclude that it's only God that can help Nigeria, not man. Men have failed and are still failing this country. |
This shows that "nobody is good at the back". Never vouch for anything in this life. |
This is great. God is really using this lady to do wonders in this 'ignorant and wicked' entity- Nigeria. |
They should seek for special courts for corruption first, so that there will be speedy delivery of corruption cases. There are a lot of corruption-related cases to deal with and it seems to overwhelm the normal courts. Also, it does happen that all governors and politically exposed persons usually end up being prosecuted for graft and corruption-related cases after their respective tenures. So this is the court to be demanded now! |
This is Scottish traditional attire. Btw, the festival has not reached - in August, why the rush. |
No, you didn't. Nowadays, it goes either ways. If any of the parties involved in a relationship is hesitant to define the r/ship, either of the party can ask the defining-question. So, you are in order. Europija: |
But I do. Read it as a teacher marking the script of a primary two pupil. You will understand now....(She met a guy and they've seen each other for a while both in the cold and in the wind. The guy wants to travel but hasn't told her anything serious about the relationship. Though she has reservations about the guy's commitment to the r/ship yet the guy continues to confirm his interest and commitment.......) Yuneehk: |
I think she has communicated. Leave the construction of her English grammar alone. If you're aware, you will know that almost all the European countries don't have English as their official language so she tried. Put yourself in her shoes by writing, say, Portuguese, Spanish or Dutch, you will understand better. Having said that, if you have advice or answer to her question, you proffer asap. Cheers! |
Hahaha, that's so true but I noticed that the size has reduced a bit. It's moving from chubby to being skinny. |
The woman that did such a thing to a girl created in the image of God is a beast. I think the first poster above is right with his post. Really, the heart of man is wicked. This is the kind of occurrence that made God to regret why he created man. |
"...without the option of fine"- good job, judge! But 10 years is still meagre and not commensurate with the crime of illegal possession of fire arms. However, as there is no 'option of fine', the judgement is most welcome. This should at least serve as deterrent to other rampaging armed herdsmen. The day of reckoning must surely come. Kudos to the judge. |
Wow, that's a good specie. But the owner suppose to have supported the banana with some branched-wood/planks so that it doesn't fall under it's own weight and spoil before maturity. What a nice bunch!. I hope the suckers are replanted and nurtured already. |
Oh I can see! South Sudan's weed is not diluted at all. |
@nlfan, the last time I checked, people like marrying their friends. If he makes a good friend but no tizzling feelings generated now, then allow the relationship to tarry a bit. With time, love and feelings may genuinely develop by actions of both of u. Learn his personality well, come closer to him to see his attributes that may trigger any feelings too. Also, try to unwind urself from your workaholic disposition as to reduce stress from urself. Maturity in both mind and body is good for marriage- I think ur guy has got it. Above all, after all checks and balances, if you cannot progress further, kindly inform him. |
Withdraw what? He didn't withdraw anything. But, did he lie? Has corruption not ripped off the whole fabric of Nigeria? It is better we stop being hypocritical but try as much as we could to mitigate corruption. In this country, no one ever gets what is due him or her. Before you get or do anything in any public outfit be it in government hospital, police stations, prisons, schools, civil service etc, you have to bride or sort your way out. What is meant for free is being sold or paid for. The common man does not enjoy any dividends of government. This is most appalling to the extent that even aid materials for displaced/emergency-stricken people are being sold. What of employment? Can one ever get government employment on merit? - Near-impossible! What of drugs in public hospitals that are being diverted to private dispensaries? What of the police that request for bribe in order to raise trump-up charges or avert rightful prosecution? What of the judiciary that most regrettably, seeks and accepts bribe to thwart the course of justice? What of policiticians - governors, legislators that want to gather everything and appropriate same to themselves?. After looting the state public funds, governors shamelessly do write some retirement benefits and get legislators endorsement to receive as monthly pension (in cash and kind) an equivalent amount of money that will build and equip six hospitals per month for the people. What of senators that corner to themselves monthly (cash and kind), an equivalent amount of money that can build and equip six primary schools in their various constituencies monthly? Please, have you seen the list of cars in the CCB list that Saraki owns? - You may cry for this country. It is very expedient that the youth do not support the avaricious-biased disposition of Nigerian politicians, lest this ship will sink.. Bro, Cameron didn't lie because things have fallen apart in Nigeria . I can't talk more. |
Lol. Ok, so he should hold the cup as evidence of drinking water. You are so hilarious! But he needs time to heal; mistakes are often times inevitable. And one cannot just hold oneself down because of one's mistake. Just forgive him, please. gonkraziiiiii: |
She has already said that he borrowed #45 million. Did he deny? Why reiterating it? Is it because he came clean of drug abuse accusation, hence borrowing money accusation enters second gear. Leave the young man alone to drink water and drop cup! |
Is there a happy ending? I thought marriage is usually 'till death puts asunder'. KashyBaby: |
Parents are the 'God' the child sees on earth. As such, they guide and direct the child in the way they deemed right. So, why the child abuse . |
She has 'tasted' two men and has known the better of the two. |
Amen!! But her eyes shine like that of a cat. I think this her contact lens is fashion taken too far. |
This is how it suppose to be (and it's worthy of emulation). She remembers and still gives credit to who helped her in the days of little beginning. Some people, after being helped and they see that they've got fame/wealth; will try to cut-off links with their benefactors or tarnish the benefactors' image in whatever form and by whatever means. They may go by the clause, "I just wanted to pose that you were the one that has been helping/taking care of me"(and it's very bad). This singular act of hers will be a morale booster to the benefactor in helping others. Good job! |
The truth is that the VP's wife- Dolapo is more exposed than President Biya's wife. The more exposed one is, the less conceited, the more humble and the more disciplined one becomes. Those who are well exposed or have stayed abroad will understand most what am saying. Then, you will see that flashy things or stubbornness or stupidity of this world is nothing to write home about. The person has seen it all- no need for flamboyance. When you see people who have been exposed by virtue of academic leanings, abode or occupation; you will see that they are simple and less bureaucratic. |
This is educative. Kudos to you @op. |
. We'll just have to wait for those who understand to come give their advice
.
