Corruption has too much power and clout in Nigeria. I never see! This is one problem of 'over-corruption' - it buys solidarity and subsumes the good. Let due process and rule of law prevail. No need for hanky-panky. |
Carnival-addict. This happens when someone participates in carnival all the time and the memories controls the person. |
People should please be wise here. Whether it is illegal or legal, don't resist arrest. Better be alive to tell the story than for someone to tell it on your behalf posthumously. It is never advisable for anyone to argue with an armed person; whether it is a legal or an illegal arm carrier. To before warned, is to before armed. |
Redeployment is not sack. Stiffer punishment is needed here. I don't understand why somebody who partook in such heinous and disgraceful crime will be parted with just 'redeployment'. This is not how Europe took to institutionalize probity and discipline. |
God bless that Judge. |
This is the reason African traditional marriage pattern has inherent steps that checkmate such occurrence in Africa. The two people involved in the marriage are traced to their genealogy. When things are done as supposed, imperfections are literally eliminated. |
Yea, good to know. Sorry you learnt through the hard way. It's well my dear. dazzle101: |
Hello Fraih, I just stumbled on your post as quoted. Please always send your resume'/CV in PDF format. Don't mind whatever you've heard to the contrary. Ms word format is editable and highlights unknown errors via the red and blue highlighting lines. PDF is not editable, hence it keeps your CV as you sent it. If it is in msword format, a (mischievous) person can even edit knowingly or unknowingly (just by mistakenly hitting the 'enter' key on the keyboard) and add unnecessary stuffs to your CV and that may sieve you out of an opportunity. But if it were to be in PDF format no editing will occur. PDF format is the standard best-pratice format. Ms word is a 'novice' format. Take note! Fraih: |
This must be in Kenya. |
We thank God for you. Welcome dear baby girl! |
Nothing lasts forever. That was the same fuss that sharia generated then, where is sharia now?. God knows how to fight his battle himself. He has promised us (St Peter) that the gate of hell shall never overcome his church. Worry not brethren. |
Bravo @op. Diligence, Discipline and Divine-Assistance are the 3D's which when become complete in an individual lead to success. More power to your elbow and more fortune to your boss! |
Since the inception of Nigeria there has never being a period that the image of the judiciary has been tainted to this extent. Chai, corruption gradually penetrated and shattered the fabrics of the nation's judiciary. It's so shameful that one can not even get justice from the courts again. No wonder public outcry against pronouncements of the court's (High courts, Appeal court, Supreme court) judgement in the recent past has never being experienced before. Again, little wonder the unwarranted adjournments, incommensurate punishments emanating from the hallowed chambers and the level of impunity, corruption, murder, stealing, laxity, wickedness, official recklessness that about in the land. There should be total overhaul. It's even more shameful because if the court that is the custodian of justice and equity could not be impartial and just, where does the common man's hope lie. There should be massive overhaul, retirement, prosecution and even sack of indicted members of the bar and bench as to safeguard the sanctity of the nation's judiciary. Ghana did it and it became better for them. So, should Nigeria decides to sanitize its judiciary, it won't be a new thing again in Africa. |
Wow. Newton's third law=> For ever action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. |
This is the best article I have ever heard from a Nigerian celebrity. #Beautywithbrain. |
......."to the dettrement of your company".... |
Wow. Hear from the two sides and then decide. - #King Solomon! |
Corruption in the judiciary is the reason people do things with impunity and say, "go to court, if you feel aggrieved", because they know they can always buy 'justice'. What a shame! If the citadel of justice is corrupt, what will happen to the body polity?. |
Good to know bro. Things happen in mysterious ways. I am an advocate of : "the hood does not make the monk". As such we should never judge any man/woman by the fabrication of his/her linen/add-ons!. Also, the alignment of the face never confirms the construction of the mind! I have a similar experience of this kind just yesterday night. I was running some stuffs in a place and got stocked, needed some help as to proceed in what I was doing. While I was thinking of what to do next, miraculously a lady who seated not too far away came to my seat and asked, ' do you need some help, am willing to help'. She told me she is a programmer and has seen my computer screen as she was coming in. I replied, 'sure, thanks'. She immediately took over and fixed my worries. It seems like a miracle to me and I was relieved. While we were seated, I looked at her body and discovered that she tattooed everywhere, I mean A-Z of her body was tattooed. Yet she has got some nice chill, good heart and ability to decipher when help is needed to be rendered - which invariably is a gift of the holy spirit (meekness). I found out she was Romanian. Come to Africa, hypocrisy has taken the troll. Some unscrupulous men who call them selves men-of-God, unabatedly and mischievously conqures everything that belongs to the people/members that even need help the most. They become super rich and tries to use psychology to tame the members' mentality into 'Stockholm syndrome'. And they call it obesiance- to man, and not God. God requires that men be merciful to one another. Africans have abandoned to show mercy, love and charity to glaring cases of need- people who need mercy abound amongst us. Political leaders who are entrusted with the peoples common wealth, show much wickedness in their actions. Should they have mercy, they would have known that the opportunity they have is to serve God manifested in the people. My question is: is it good for one to callously neglect showing of mercy by distributing what belongs to everyone fairly or enmassing it and giving part to the church/mosque and men-of-God? Your answer is as good as mine. Indeed, mercy has travelled in Africa! lestat: |
This is called 'change'. And 'transformation' is what Anja just achieved for this boy. "Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy"-Matthew 5:7. Still a very long way for Africa to go! |
Nashville, TN | An 87-year-old former postman has been proven to have fathered over 1,300 illegitimate children after a private investigator hired by a Tennessee family discovered the shocking truth. The investigation that has gathered thousands of DNA samples and testimonies over a 15-year period ultimately proves the man is the father to literally thousands of illegitimate children in the region. “Contraception wasn’t very popular in those days,” he told local reporters in his defense. “I have nothing to be ashamed of. The 60s were the good old days and I did a great Johnny Cash impression which played out real good with the ladies,” he explained. “Some even thought I was Johnny Cash for real,” he recalls laughingly. “I don’t know if they really believed it or if they were trying to convince themselves, but who was I to say no to a quickie?” he acknowledged. Author Anthony Kendall has teamed up with private investigator Sid Roy and will publish the results of the 15-year investigation next fall in an upcoming book "Unraveling the truth". Private investigator Sid Roy never could have imagined a simple gig would end up in a 15-year quest for the truth. “It all started in 2001 when two different men that had nothing to do with each other hired me to find their biological father. I was astounded after further investigation to realize they both originated from the same person. That is when the mystery started unraveling and it became a personal mission of mine, whenever I had some free time, I’d try and track down other testimonies. Eventually, DNA testing became really cheap and easy to use and helped me gather a lot of information in the latest years,” he acknowledges. No lawsuit in sight. The private investigator says the children of the old man don’t intend to pursue any lawsuit against the old man. “Most people who are aware of the truth don’t want this information to get out and have given anonymous testimonies,” he explains. “The truth unleashed could break up hundreds or more families and that’s definitely not the point of all these years of research. All I know is that most people are glad to know the truth and don’t bear any grudge against the old man, I guess it was a more common practice in those days,” he acknowledges. Although DNA testing and testimonies point out to over 1,300 illegitimate children fathered by the retired postman, Sid Roy believes there could be many more. “I’ve spent 15 years of my own personal time into this, I think it’s enough,” he admits. “But my research clearly shows there could be many more children,” he told local reporters, although he declined to comment if the numbers were in the hundreds or thousands more. http://infamoustribune.com/dna-tests-prove-retired-postman-1300-illegimitate-children/ |
Indians can cheat!!! |
Useless things do happen in Kenya these days. |
Thank God they are together, no qualms. However a cursory look at the picture depicts chemistry and communication gap. May their differences be resolved, though. |
In as much as I cannot feign ignorance of the existence of mischievousness, however, the new form of cowardice nowadays is denial. After doing something one will claim that it was the antics of ones opposition. Since waec has got opposition, may be it was neco that wrote so. Mind you, the registrar doesn't need to be in Nigeria to write whatsoever. We are in a global world. One can operate comfortably from ones room. That alibi cannot work. |
Great awareness. Well-done @op. |
That's good of Ben Bruce- #buynaijatogrowthenaira. But where I have issue is putting 'just' for 3k Naira. Can he put 'just' for 3k$ or 3k£. 3k Naira is two-third the monthly salary of somebody or a market woman's monthly income. So he needs to also reconfigure his pysche to the reality of the time and know that 3k Naira is not 'just'! |
I think you are bent on lifting 'sexy' ladies so they keep showing you their kind of behaviour. Charity should cut across all ages/gender, if you must be charitable. When you see an elderly woman/a mother in need of "lift", also do the needful. On disembarking they will shower you with blessings rather than requesting anything from you. FYI, the attitude you've come to see is to show you the level of decadence in the society. No need to shiver, it's well. |
"The pen is mightier than the sword". Laptop signifies the pen while car signifies the sword. When properly channelled, the laptop and the means of data subscription will not only fetch the car but making of cars!. So at the long run, the laptop will triumph over the car. |
Prior to marriage, men eager for sex the more. After marriage, women do possess uncontrollable quest for sex. |
Whosoever that is insinuating this, needs help. There is nothing wrong in a father carrying his child. Absolutely nothing!. African mentality puts people into reasoning absurdly, why?. Most times youngsters find it very hard to comprehend nature and due to youthful exuberances show-off their foolhardiness. Whosoever writes this, please, there is noting wrong in a father carrying his child or helping out in domestic work if chance permits such. |
If you own a filling station, you can go for the touareg. |
