PoliticsRe: SE Leaders Want 2023 PresidenCY But cant support one of them As Vice IN 2018 by Delphi(m): 12:23am On Oct 15, 2018

SOUTH EAST LEADERS WANT TO BE PRESIDENT BUT CANT ACCEPT ONE OF THEM AS VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE
You are getting the whole scenario wrong. What they are saying is that they were not consulted before the choice of Obi was made. They equally alleged that Nyesom Wike (who is from SS) had a hand in Obi's endorsement.
Nevertheless, they don't have any issue with Obi but the process that brought him.
I.believe they just want to be in-charge in matters concerning their region and not to be usurped by an outsider. The gain for this noise is not for now but for the future.

You must be insane for snapping mad family of 5 just to seek for attention on social media.

What stops you from taking them psychiatric hospital since you care?
How dare you write this gibberish. He may no have the capacity to rehabilitate them so the best option deemed necessary to render help is to bring this anomaly to public purview so the the authorities can be aware and do the needful.

Government at the local level supposed to have offered help but alas, this is Nigeria. Thus, I strongly thank whosoever brought this to lime light. I pray help comes to them soon.

CrimeRe: Maryam Sanda Organizes Birthday Party For Her Daughter, Alisha, After Release by Delphi(m): 9:27am On Mar 10, 2018
She would have skipped her daughter's birthday celebration for now because of the gloomy exigency of this time as regards the family's situation. Is she not supposed (or appear) to be mourning? Will the daughter (a minor) who doesn't know anything be affected grievously should the birthday be skipped to future years ahead?. Had the daughter been matured/older, I know she would have declined such birthday celebration while the dad is freshly demised via such ignoble circumstance. The woman ignored the pensive situation/mood that the family of her husband are in now, to celebrate birthday thus creating an avoidable chastisement for herself. What a shame. The summary of all this, is that this woman is not remorseful at all and she is mean-hearted.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Reinstates Usman Yusuf, Suspended NHIS Chief by Delphi(m): 10:17pm On Feb 06, 2018
He is resigning to make a case for his conscience, his character and his reputation. EFCC and ICPC are inconsequential afterwards. A clear conscience fears no accusation.

toyoC1:
what would happen after resigning ?

They will hound him with efcc and icpc.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Reinstates Usman Yusuf, Suspended NHIS Chief by Delphi(m):
The best for the Minister of Health to do now is to put up his resignation letter. This is a very demeaning administrative infraction. What nonsense!!. Let the minister do this as a way of protest. The minister should know that he is a technocrat, as such, he will never go hungry even without holding a ministerial portfolio. How I wish he will toe the path of honour and heroism. Oh, clannishness, nepotism and kinship has eaten deep into this administration. Buhari has destroyed all institutions of government because of his unquenchable nepotistic tendencies. Oh my gush, mediocrity has taken sway. How has my dear country derailed to this stinking level. What a shame!

PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu's Fight For Biafra, An Act Of Cowardice, illitracy And Stupidity. by Delphi(m):
@op,I think your post/the content has all shades of wrong. First of all, kindly know that I'm not IPOB. This will aid an unbiased assimilation of my response. You said, NK "fight" for Biafra?. Its never a fight but an agitation - the reason, I view you post/content as wrong!. In this your stance you meant violent confrontation with the authorities. But that was never the situation. You have to appreciate the fact that You & I have the right to self determination, right to agitate and right to voice out our grievances and disappointments. It is never a crime. I feel highly disappointed when people cast aspersions on someone that says he wants a new identity. It is not a crime!
The problem is that the security agencies (and perhaps the leaders), lack professionalism, exposure and comportment. They don't acknowledge the citizens' right to protest, agitate and associate non-violently. We could see that UK police give cover to people who protested in the Abuja house in London without any form of molestation and victimization. Can you get such treatment in your country? There is no window for civil vituperation in developing world, why?. In the recent past, Scotland passed through referendum to determine whether they will be in the UK or not. It was never a crime nor an abomination. Again, in this era of Brexit, another agitation for (second) referendum is in the offing.
I find it disappointing when people castigate others who are courageous enough to seek for a new identity for themselves. One truth I know is that Nigeria is very big to be properly managed by 'feeble minds' who disappointedly are the leaders in all tiers of government. In this instance, the country becomes too heterogenous and complex to control. Is it not better for all to have a smaller, more controllable homogenous entities? Without strong institutions, good leadership, informed citizenry, homogenous value system, social justice etc, the best is for the country to segregate (based on homogeneity of values). China is big yet they've got all these 'virtues', the reason the country is being governed well. But that can't be said of Nigeria. Why then does one continue to associate with what doesn't work and be saying "founding fathers want it so". Change is inevitable thus.
I'm not holding forth for anyone nor group, but based on my exposure and training, I believe, Nigeria as it is now, is not the best deal. Genuine effort must be made as to bring equity hitherto skewed in terms of resources allocation - human and material. One section should not be having a lion share of everything that ought to be equitable. No conscientious citizen will be happy the way the country is presently structured and run. Or who is happy with disparity in the discharge of justice system, geographical monopoly in federal appointments, inequitable allocation of infrastructure etc. Let's forget about who calls the shots. NK may not have got the process perfect yet it has charted a new course for the betterment of our prosterity. It is high time, legislation be done as to model the aspect of referendum in the constitution. However, I ask, how did the present constitution come about?

This was really helpfull tanxsorry for the questions
bt which is more profitable here in Nigeria
comp sci or comp engr
They are all good. Study any course, whether computer science, computer engrg or electrical engrg. Just make sure you do programming (on your own, can't actually get it in school). This is the direction of the world. Then any course becomes irrelevant but you become a hot cake. In the profitable/lucrative ventures, it is what you know and can do (programming) that matters and not what you studied. Good luck!
EducationRe: Just Wrote Waec And I Need Advice On What Course To Study by Delphi(m): 4:52pm On Jul 29, 2017
@Nosainwe, you don't need further maths to be eligible for an engineering course in a Nigerian university. It is not compulsory. The compulsory courses are English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology. So proceed to study any engineering course of your choice.
HealthRe: Help. by Delphi(m):
@op, please don't go to any hospital for now before your system will be messed/complicated. I don't think you have any problem in that regards. If you mastubate every day or make love very often, your sperm ought to be 'watery'. So tarry a bit and note whether there is a difference in your sperm quality or not. Remember to review your diet.
Secondly, in love-making, it is you (the guy) who do (does) the work initially prior to (the first) ejaculation. Afterwards, your partner (the lady) takes over. Her work starts then and she has to deploy good skills as to make you strong again. If this is not done, you may remain flaccid. Also, one cannot neglect the psychological aspect of it. Hence, what's your state of mind like during the 'action'?. Thus, I urge you not to go visiting any hospital over imaginary issues. Heed to this advice and note whether changes occur in the nearest future or not before you know your next line of action (say, medical advice).
CrimeRe: 13-year-old JSS2 Student Commits Suicide In Parent's Chicken Pen In Makurdi by Delphi(m): 9:01pm On Jun 07, 2017
If this were to be in the western world, it should be determined if this death was actually suicide or a murder case. Finger prints would have been sought after and the truth ascertained. However, because of unprofessionalism and lack in technology in this clime, many crimes in Nigeria have been mis-determined and most people utilized this to commit heinous crime.
FamilyRe: My Brother In Law Barged Into My Room While I Was Unclad!! by Delphi(m):
Young lady @iyaayi, you don't need to worry cos 'nothing spoil'. I can bet or vouch that your brother-IL did not see anything. I know, to you, he saw you unclad but for me, due to the momentariness/swiftness of the action he wouldn't comprehend what he saw. That is the situation of things. He stood there for some time because he was stupefied. Let me give you two examples; if you've gone to the mortuary, you see dead bodies in their unclad state but true to fact your brain wouldn't comprehend/amuse at their unclad state due to the queerness of the mortuary situation. Secondly, someone involved in an accident may suddenly run amok and people will hold him in place. At that point in time, the victim doesn't know/comprehend what he does. @iyaayi, these illustrations are to let you know that your BIL didn't enjoy your unclad state. Also, he stood there for awhile apologizing because he lost control of any other voluntary action to execute rather did what (apologies) his brain thought best at that time. Your hubby who was there understood the situation at it's best and hence he dished out the best judgmental action. So, cool your temper madam, you're still intact.

Sometimes, tattoos make someone look 'dirty'. A clean body without tattoo is more appealing to the eyes than a tattooed one. Ageing makes tattoos unappealing too.
PoliticsRe: Halima Babangida To Be The 3rd Wife Of Auwal Lawa: Lady Shades Anti-Polygamists by Delphi(m):
This post is of mean repute. Marriage is never the sole yardstick for the attainment of life's fulfillment. While some persons may see marriage as the ultimate goal yet others may not. This last group can take advancement in education, career or business as their fulfillment. To rush into marriage and the worse, in a polygamous one, is never the best. In life, people should leave certain things to take it's natural course. Marriage is one of them. Mind you, the reason a lady accepts polygamy is far from being just "not to wait tire". Other reasons like economic, social/social status, religious etc., play some roles in the choices people make in marriage. Ladies should be encouraged in whatever good and contemporary decisions they deem fit in their choice of marriage. To hop into marriage because of peer pressure is very counter-productive.

CelebritiesRe: Janet Jackson Moves Out Of Ex Husband’s London Home by Delphi(m): 8:54pm On Apr 12, 2017
Janet Jackson is a scam and got an opportunity of wielding a sham marriage on a super-rich Arabian as to recoup plentifully, in the (pre-determined) event the marriage crashes, a substantial amount of money atleast in excess of the meagre she paid out to the second ex-hubby.
If not for 'complex sake' why should such a made-man go into a shambolic and pretentious union. She noting the prenuptial clause, allowed the 'marriage' to just tenure 5 years on the exact. What a scam!
Anyway, I don't pity the man any longer, cos, 'to whom brain is given, (the use of) sense is expected.
RomanceRe: How Can I Inform My Wife That I Need Another Wife by Delphi(m):
If I may guess well, you are a sergeant in the Nigerian Army/Police. Postulating further, you are in the rank&file cadre not officers' cadre! Even if you are none of these, you are not far from that level. Again, from your write-up, because you are from a polygamous family, you must go polygamous irrespective of the prevailing situations and circumstances around you. This is so disappointing! Mr sgt, your interest is just to get another wife (wives) to satisfy your orgies without contemplating whether you can adequately cater for them and the children that will follow - giving them the best education and training. Actually, considering the economic situation of the country now, I doubt if this can be possible. Did it not occur to you that the large (polygamous) family you came from deprived you and your siblings of certain standard of living - training/exposure/wherewithal? Why do you want to delve into such again and thus recycle poverty/low-life in your generation. You supposed to have been wiser by now. You have to discipline your self and sacrifice certain privileges/pleasures as to ensure a better future for your (unborn) children and generation. Truly, that's the way a wise and determined father goes. Changing sex partners is just vanity, an ephemeral ecstasy with subsequent self-reproach. Good luck!
TravelRe: Another Peace Mass Transit Bus Involved In Fatal Accident On Enugu Road (Photos) by Delphi(m): 8:45pm On Apr 05, 2017
The earlier people forget about boarding PMT for their journey, the better for them. Why would anyone just want to commit suicide by boarding a bus? A word is enough for the wise.
PoliticsRe: Justice Ademola Discharged And Acquitted, Efcc Shamed by Delphi(m):
Based on espirit-de-corps, I'm not surprised he and his wife are 'discharged and acquitted'. If it were to be in saner climes, he (and the wife) is/are to be jailed without parole. The reason the contemporary judge/court 'acquitted' them is that he knows that himself cannot attest to be without blemish. Hence, in the event of him being docked, another judge acting on the same espirit-de-corps will give him a soft landing. If you like believe it or not, Nigeria judiciary is stinking and hyper-corrupt. Never does an ordinary person gets a deserved judgement without bribing. They all have agents/collector-in-lieu. No cadre of the judiciary is spared and the amount increases wrt a higher court. This is exemplified mostly in high profile cases- especially the ones involving pay-ready politicians.
Therefore, the cases against the corrupt judges being prosecuted now will not see the light of the day as the judges acting in unison will frustrate the cases and will never indict/jail one of their own. They are all one and the same!
