🎙 ...If we know what is going on with the National team players selection, you will know that Nigeria football will not grow at all... handpicking of players and paddy inclusion just too plenty...

Enough of all these shenanigans 🤔

This our Coach sef. You have a comfortable lead. Make 3 subs now. Then another 2 shortly.
Manage the work load, keep them all sharp.
Lol 😂
Evidence of Local Coach for you. They can’t even read the game and make the necessary adjustments, why tire out the players when you have other games to play, bring in your subs to see how they can help. It already 70+

She was missed badly. It was obvious in our middle game plays and with how Yina interpreted the role.

But with Kalu in the squad, do you think we could have stood a chance of beating the Japanese in that Quarter finals tie?
His plan to accommodate his favorite players instead playing the best also lead to his failure..

The Captain should have been dropped to the bench, with Imuran back to the Left Back.

Infact Danjuma planned to fail, going to the World Cup.

I think we could have done better at the World Cup if Danjuma had took her along, the Midfield would have been better with a natural DM, with her covering a lot of ground with her Defensive skills, Yina move up to her Usual 10 role in a 3 women midfield. But no he settled with Olise and Adoo who struggled throughout.

He didn’t even have proper game pla

Betsy Obaseki Women Football Pre Season Tournament Final🏆

Bayelsa Queens vs Nassarawa Amazons

The winners will pocket 10 million Naira, while the runners-up will take home 7 million naira

Third place - 5 million ( Edo Queens).

Whereas, the NWFL-Premiership winners for the whole season will pocket 10 million naira👀
Imagine a Pre Season tournament rewarding the winner 10M, 2nd place 7M and 3rd place 5M..

I was thinking the League management Board can as well seek for funds from each state government, like 2M each from the 36 State to support the league so that the Winners can get a better rewards instead of this 10M..

Beautiful move for Kalu. Can't wait to see her get the gametime and develop even further. Fine midfield baller we missed at the U20 WWC.
The thing still Dey pain me say she miss the World Cup… Like a raw DM that could have done a great and better job than anyone else in the team..

This also limited Yina Adoo performance because she was never a DM but a Creative Midfielder that love to pass and attack more.

I'll have taken Temwa Chawinga other Banda though. She's been fantastic the last one year miles ahead of her peers.
If the Malawi FA are serious they can build their team around this two Sisters, and some other names that have come up even though the Squad depth won’t be there… Why not start like Zambians that depends mainly on Banda & Kundananji first.

Hmmm… But no National team football to back it up.

All the players here played at the International level for their various National teams weda the Olympics qualifying games or the main Olympics or even Continental Championships qualifiers as well.

The recurring frequency of such mistakes, and the fact that they are quite elementary.
For someone rated as one of the better keepers in the world, is a huge concern.
You cannot continue to hope hat she will 'bounce back', without taking active steps to ensure that the country has backup plans in place.
England have 5 very good goalkeepers that can be 1st choice at any point..

1• Mary Earps 31yrs (PSG W) 🇫🇷
2• Hannah Hampton 23yrs (Chelsea W) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
3• Ellie Roebuck 25yrs (Barcelona W) 🇪🇸
4• Anna Moorhouse 29yrs ( Orlando Pride) 🇺🇸
5• Khiara Keating 20yrs (Manchester City) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

This is what we want, in as much as she would bounce back we need other Options that we can also rely on..

Didn’t you guys enjoy the era of Precious Dede, Tochukwu Oluehi and Alaba Jonathan as our top 3 goalkeepers especially from 2010 —2016 apart from Dede and Oluehi who have been there as our reliable two goalkeepers since 2006.

England, USA, Spain, Germany, Sweden and Canada are the very top Countries I know won’t suffer from goalkeepers issues because they have the Options readily available…

Tochukwu Oluehi Is 37+

Chiamaka Nnadozie should go nowhere. She has made some mistake but she will bounce back.
No one is saying she should go anywhere or should leave her First choice position at both Club & Country level…

Our point is we need a good Young hand/backup who can stand up to the billing when she isn’t available or in her A games…

Imagine Mary Earps of England was benched in few games and England media and fans started ranting that she has lost her first choice position, whereas it was PSG who are suffering from poor signings and average Coach..

Men! This girl is fast becoming worse each day.
Elementary, mediocre mistakes. Not only that, she is clearly overweight.
Time to start grooming someone else.

I think the Coaches should just try out the likes of foreign born goalkeepers like Medinat Lawal 🇺🇸, Comfort Erhabor 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and the best we can lay hands on in the league right now…

Maybe I should have said it came across as that. I agree we need to urgently search for a competent backup. Sadly our FA doesn't think so with the way they have handled the age grade teams.
The Day this Local League Coaches that holds National team age grade head coaching positions decides to really look into the goalkeeping area more then it might get better..

I still haven’t get past the nonsense Danjuma did at the U20 World Cup..!

Tochukwu Oluehi is on the verge of retirement, we only have Nnadozie and we think it’s really safe… That’s a big lie. If Nnadozie doesn’t get the Competition in that position we would suffer it..

Imagine in the National team no good enough back up apart from a 37yrs plus lady. At Club level the back up goalies there too are still the same… She simply needs competition. Her school girl errors In recent games have been costly.

German-born defender of Nigerian descent Victoria Ezebinyuo has confirmed that she's open to representing Nigeria at international level.

Born twenty-two years ago to a Nigerian father and German mother, she currently plies her trade with SC Freiburg.

Ezebinyuo who is a youth product of SC Freiburg, was a member of Germany U-17s squad that clinched the 2019 UEFA U-17 Women's Euros, playing three games for her country of birth against England, Austria and Portugal in that tournament held in Bulgaria.

Nonetheless, she qualifies to feature for Nigeria's senior national team, the Super Falcons, through her Nigerian dad, and has kept the door open for any opportunity in that regard.

Acknowledging the blend of youth and experience in the current national team set-up, Ezebinyuo stated that she is very much open to acquiring a Nigerian passport in order to don Nigeria's coveted green and white jersey.

"I would be interested in obtaining a second citizenship so that I can play for the Nigerian national team," she told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Having affirmed her intentions, the player also went on to disclose that there hasn't been any contact with the Nigeria Football Federation or with the team's handlers regarding the modalities that would facilitate a potential call-up.

When she went down the second time and Aggie Beever-Jones started warming up, the BBC World Service commentator said that the Arsenal defenders would be happy to see her go off.
Sure…. Mayra brings another kind of vibe upfront, the kind of comments I was reading on the live chat were just so funny 😂 😂😂

Some where like She’s playing like Messi, They need to check her if she’s truly a woman, how can she bully Arsenal defenders like that…

Meeen… I need a Ramirez in the SuperFalcons frontline I swear.

Now I'm beginning to think this is a club problem. For every one of our player who plies their trade there to leave? Something is wrong at that club.
It would be difficult to reject offer from such a Club right now… The Korean-born businesswoman Michele Kang who owns Lyon and Washington Spirit is the owner of that club London City Lionesses Football Club and they recently made some top signings including Sweden Captain Asllani 🇸🇪, Sofia Jakobsson🇸🇪, Danielle Carter 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Charlène Meyong🇨🇲, Former PSG Coach etc…

Their main goal is to play in the WSL next season.., A very good move for Imuran considering the Pay and room to grow as well…

We need to start doing drug tests in this thread if we all knew Shukurat was the best defender.

But don't forget my point. If Glory Ogbonna made the type of mistakes Shukurat made only in the African Games we will not hear word on this thread. U would find any opportunity to bash her just like her 10 minutes cameo at the world cup but because u like Shukurat she was the best grin
I have no business with the so called player called Shukurat, talk more of like.. I never even meet her for ground sef…

By the way Non of these U20 set deserves a spot in the SuperFalcon squad talk more of picking Comfort as a better CB…

Again she’s too weak for that, maybe she will prove me wrong some day… Even at that we still have better Center Backs abroad.
