2 goals from corners. This Josephine Mathias is a player
Na Christy Ucheibe best Friend be that ooo…. Josephine Mathias. But the way she became chubby is something I didn’t see coming. She has been around the Age grade National team too…

If she toon down a bit, she can become Lindsey Horan..

Okay they say this keeper is a penalty specialist
Lol 😂
Ona don start, with the few penalties have seen her save sef, you will know that she’s below average, not a SuperFalcon material…. 4th choice at U20 who didn’t make the cut to the last World Cup.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:36pm On Oct 29, 2024
Monday Gift😂😂😂😂

This player hasn’t shown any improvement in my eyes at all, what is going on? I hope Nigeria don’t put their hope on her as the future.

Madugu should bench all the foreign players and start all home based let's see what they are really about
You’re right but I don’t see him doing that though, the first game all the Foreign based players were literally the stand out players, non of the Home based really stood tall..!

Now that no female rep from Falcons made it to Balon D'or top 20 this time, it is high time we set this house in order for wafcon and get at least 3 players for the next one. We should be striving for excellence at the top and not this homebased/foreign based divide that is gradually gaining noise since last month. I doubt Zee will enter the Balon D'or list again. So that leaves

Rasheedat
Chiamaka
Jennifer

To double up, especially for the upcoming AFCON. No excuses whatsoever for these three. I hope a smart coach takes the team there. We should not be resting on our oars. Resting on oars is for semifinal spot. We are gunning for the title and that's the least expectation. We need to work towards that. I hope Rinsola is invited after this homebased friendlies. I also hope the right mix of cadet players are selected.
Omor is only Rash that I can point fingers at right now, PSG poor show in the Champions League won’t help Onyi Echegini either…

We need a new star to be born into the team like real quick.. ZEE is on her way out, she has done enough for herself and Africa as a whole..
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 11:42am On Oct 29, 2024
I don’t see any reason why Coach Madugu should play Chiamaka Nnadozie in today’s game against Algeria… They should try btw the biggies/shorties of Monle & Udoka let’s see.

Okay guys we forgot to talk about Chioma Olise game against Algeria for the SuperFalcons.. She played deep and far better than what we saw at the U20 World Cup..
is this not enough sign that Danjuma is the reason this girls didn’t do well at the World Cup?..

Nguenar Ndiaye late goal cancels out Opa Clement first-half opener and salvages late draw for Senegal in three-team friendly by-invitational up north.

25/10: Morocco 4-1 Tanzania
27/10: Senegal 1-1 Tanzania
29/10: Morocco v Senegal

It truly was so frustrating to see the girls soaking the game and other games with mostly off-target shots. I was saying to myself, “can’t these girls just toe the line of one-touch/combination passes, regardless of the coach’s instructions?”

Anyway, if it were up to me, I wouldn’t mind having a person like Mercy Akide becoming the team’s head coach. After all, she has years of experience coaching high school teams in the U.S., which would dovetail nicely with coaching an U-17 team.
The bolded… The likes of Omagbemi, Akide and Nkiru Okosieme have been coaching Youth & College teams in the US for over a decade now, Is time the NFF take advantage of their experience at that level.. Bring them on board let them nurture this girls… If they’re not doing well with the various teams they’re handling they won’t be staying with the job of Developing the Players till date..!

International Friendly!

Super Falcons starting XI vs Algeria
Olise & Esther in Midfield is already a blunder cause non of them is even defensive minded.. Let me wait before jumping into conclusion. Again the Midfield will be struggling for height cause those Algerians are very tall too.. Maybe Ajibade might play Midfield but again this weakens the team why not play her in where she will help the team more.

With this line up am suspecting 4-4-2 ooo

Cause Olise & Onyenezide will definitely be in Midfield..

Ajibade and Ijamilusi should play from the wing then Omokwe & Gift Monday upfront..

This line up just Dey anyhow sha. Thank Goodness Chidinma Okeke didn’t turn up!

Please I want to know if this is the new trend in which NFF and Madugu want to run Super Falcons by inviting more local based players and doing away with our foreign based? Or is it only for this friendly match with Algeria?
Let’s just hope is just for the Algerian game alone….

We very much need the big guns… If they really want a Team B, the WAFU tournament should be theirs..

It's just the south Africa coach being too arrogant , she approach every game with same tactics...
With Sincerity our team B should beat that squad they used against Denmark… Imagine without 5 starters they struggle this much..

At least we can do without Ayinde, Plumptre, Okobi, Oshoala, Kanu and co on a regular basis because there’s squad depth..

Let’s wait and see what this Home based players will offer today. But again a better Coach is needed. Coach Madugu interview sounds as if he wants to market the Home based players for foreign Clubs instead of building more depth and gradually bringing them into the team.

Na why she go dey hang for international repute dey go. They got hype because we allowed them due to our careless approach at wafcon that year. Mtchew. Will she learn?
Im sha happy they're raking up quality friendlies compared to us wey dey play Algeria.

I'm looking forward to Ghana's re-emergence. They deserve it.
Surely a Careless approach from the NFF and majorly Randy to blame then cause he didn’t do his Assignment Properly especially from the Player selection aspect. His inability to get rid of the old legs on time came to play… Thank Goodness we now have Younger, Athletic and Intelligent Players in Midfield...!

Remo Stars Stadium growing in status. One of the few stadiums approved by CAF for matches in Nigeria. I wish they had a better Stadium Structure and Capacity it would have been better since they have the best Artificial Pitch in 9ja right now..

The Stadium will host the Super Falcons friendly match against Algeria this weekend

Tenth cap.
Third start.
First international goal.

Alyssa Thompson is your Woman of the Match!

I just hope we get to see at least 1 or 2 teenager around the team very soon!

If Madugu win both games convincingly NFF will probably retain him to AWCON
God forbid bad thing… You think winning Algeria is the price? What will happen when they face Japan, England, France, Spain, USA and Brazil??

To me Madugu & Ann Chiejene have overstayed their welcome in the SuperFalcons.. Is time we get a better Coaching crew.
