St_Black: This is a FULL-FLEDGED rumour & Lie. Actually we have exceptions like the very smart Okorocha who has forseen the death of APGA far before any average ibo could decode. Okorocha and his people will be rewarded with enormous dividends of democracy when APC takes charge in 2015. Retardeen and his cohorts will find themselves in Kirikiri. |
Ojang Sunday: In FG 's claim, there is an element of truth Mr. Man. In a country where you find people like Buhari and Tinubu, expect more than FG's claim. He who thinks power is every think can do any thing to get power. They have frustrated FG's efforts in POWER by sending Prof. Pat Nneji away through mass protest. Tinubu i know can stop at nothing to fight for power. This agreement was signed during Late President Umar Ya-radua, why insisting on complete payment now. Is this the first time ASUU is striking? So Retardeen wasn't in Yaraduas govt. He wasn't privy to the agreement Tinubu and Buhari forced the FG to sign. Ur post makes no sense. |
alexchiny: You obviously got the memo! We have reject the party full of children of anger and hate!To allign with the killer party headed by the retardeen. It's a choice, u all are entitled to it. |
Don't think this is right. Ibos will still vote Retardeen Jonathan no matter what. |
princenonny: ASUU chairman is a northerner. What else do u expect when his region has been doing everytin possible to undermine dis govt. Now GEJ has BH on their balls they hv nw resorted to strike. This govt is a divine govt and it wud overcome every challenge by the opposition. Where were u when Dipo Fashina was sqeezing Objs balls when he was ASUU president. Ur post sounds daft. |
Thank God, just the admin was shut based on the report but why must I debit ur staffs and refused to remit? |
donedy: I still believe that you know nothing about politics. Most of your reasoning are based on delusion. So, the mandate does not include determining who's responsible, but you're already here pointing fingers at the government on other threads. As soon you heard it points to the thug-like rebels, the report became invalid. What u believe or believe not is non of my business and the very least of my concern. U talk of delusions, do u even know the meaning? U that believe y aren't deluded, what have u said so far that u have been able to backed up factually? Convince me that u are not daft by bringing to this thread my qoutes where I held the syrian govt culpable. prove to all that u aren't a fool by substantiating ur shameless lie. This report is obviously wrong and false currently and my position has always been both Assad and even the rebels simply can't be trusted. Nematode, wake up. |
There is absolutely no way the killer party can govern osun again. Kudos to Aregbe. |
NO LONG TIN: Bullshit!! You keep contradicting yourself, u said the west incited the protest/demonstration in Syria, then in another line u claimed the rebels are begging for America's help.Well said. |
vedaxcool: You don't still get how this things work, they are a number of action Iran could take that would disrupt oil, blocking the straits of homuz, attacking Saudi oil infrastructure, raising all sort of militia that could perpetually attack western interest in a number of places, in fact attacking Iran is easy, dealing with the long term consequence would prove draining! Even Iraq was under oil embergo but still at the end, the prices of oil reached as high as $139 per barrel, Iran even has considerable influence in Iraq, truly dude you do understand what a globalised world means, that will be what would drive the instability in the oil market. You could read more http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/feb/06/iran-oil-exports-destination Understand my position dude. There is nothing Iran can throw at them that they won't be able to soak up in the long run. That is the message am passing across to u. Even Iran is concious of its existence and there are some actions they will never take like attacking Saudi directly. All these scenarios have been well played and solutions fashioned out. What I don't know yet is if its the same for Iran. So far, its the west throwing sublime punches at Iran which is surely affecting their economy greatly, what has Iran thrown back? Abegi leave tori. |
LBT: [s]Do you know that when israel attacked syria, russia retaliated and shot down israel f16 and destroyed 2 gun boats which took part in the attack on syria and also hit accurately an american missile supplied to israel which was stored in a warehouse in israel? Some media posted it but removed the post in less than 4 hours of posting it. The Americans known what the russians are capable of; that's why they have not invaded syria but waiting for a fall out between assad and russian which will be a green light. [/s]crap. |
donedy: I've watched you closely, all i can deduce is that you lack political insight and shallow. So, the inspector's testimony has k-leg because it points to the rebel. Please stop hallucinating. It's about time those thugs and terrorists are dealt with.no i didnt say that. This report on the opening page isnt true in this instance. The mandate of the inspectors who are currently in Syria does not include determining who is responsible. U seems to be daft. really daft to believe a report that has been in the news for months posted on the first page applies to a scenario that occurred between last week and now. |
Pattey: Who says Assad isn't wanted? America? Or its pack of Dogs? I.e Shameless (Agbaya) UK, France etc. . .those multitudes that went out to protest against Assad for months in Syria. Assad crushed them. Those are his countrymen that no longer want him and not france, UK etc |
Remii: i am not out to argue, but no one can like you more than yourself without selfish reason. You just attempt what I said by listening to those news chanels with open mind. You will see that CNN support the rebels, RT (Russia Today) supports the govt while Aljazera trie to be sympathetic to Arabian course.this simply didnt answer the question i posed. i requested for specifics. its seems u are not even certain ![]() |
about time, after about 6yrs in power the fool Akpabio seems to be building something. Time will tell |
vladimiros: for the mumus who think Russia military is up to the US And of cos the experience of fighting several live battles is there. That in itself is valuable. What experience does Russia has in recent past except the Geogian war. |
petnkool: Demdem , your analysis is shit . you know nothing .Based on what u qouted right which I av decided not to respond to. Why shoudnt u believe me if I tell u that I read about a secret weapon located underneath the pentagon the US has that will destroy the whole of Russia with just a single button. If u believe him, u should also believe me. The joke is on u boy. |
seanet02: You simply don't know why Assad is still in power.Kindly tell me please. |
Remii: You really believe every uprising is indigenous? You need to listen to views of CNN, RT and Aljazera on the same story from the Middle East.Which of the most recent ones isn't indigenous? Please be specific. |
olusola2bello: This is an old news....this happened the first time there was a chemical attack and the woman withdrew her statement....@Op, kindly verify your stories before postingThis is completely true. The mandate given to inspectors currently in Syria is to ascertain if chemical weapon was used, what type and through which medium it was delivered. They were not mandated to determine who was responsible. I had wanted to raise this issue earlier. This report do have K-leg. |
alexchiny: Don't you know that the west can sponsor protests and then incite violence during the said protest? Bros, are that naive? And the question u should answer ursef is did they? What about un Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and also Behrain? Where they also sponsored by the west? Asking me if its possible isn't enough but categorically stating that these protests are west induced will signal the direction ur thoughts are going. Now, its simply vague. The will of the Syrian people will surely come to past. Nothing suggests so far that these protests were west induced. |
ettybaba: With the exit of Hosni Mubarak is Egypt better? The same will befall Syria. Even with Assad there now, there can never be peace. |
vedaxcool: You know the price of oil does not work on reserve but on speculations in commodity market, hence US and its allies do not live in isolation, an attack on Iran would definitely attack lead to a spike in oil price even US security apparatus knows this fact! This has been envisaged a long time ago and that explains why they depend less on foreign oil now than before. They are also looking inward. Are u even aware that one of the sanctions against Iran is not buying its oil. As at today, US don't use irans oil, EU has placed an embargo on it. Saudi is there so soak up the shortages. Iraq is coming up gradually and remains an ally of US. Unfortunately these murrafuckers have got all these covered. |
vedaxcool: maybe, but you forgot oil prices, the fact that oil prices passed a $100 per barrel simply because of the crisis in Egypt, USA attacks Iran they would have to live with extremely high prices of oil, long term disruption to oil supplies etc,and a country that would be damn to difficult to occupy but might decide to launch attacks to oil installations theoretically you are commenting on what you have limited knowledge on! Let's understand this. US now depend less on foreign oil than before. Also we have allies with enough reserve and capacity to produce more than what they are currently to cushion the effect. Iran is no threat. She is a small fish. |
alexchiny: Isn't wanted by who? By rebels backed by the west to topple a legitimate government so they can install a puppet? i laugh in katamkpe. The crisis didn't start with rebels picking up arms, instead it started with peaceful protests all over the country which Assad heavily crushed. Those participants still want him to go and he will surely go. U can also laugh in kutumpe for all I care. |
The rebels can't be trusted, Assad himself isn't wanted. It's a dire situation. |
striker9: You have a point,I'm not supporting fg but I think ASUU should use another method to achieve their aim. Most of the people supporting ASUU here are graduates, why must the earned allowances be the only problem with ASUU. When u say other methods, can u be more specific. What methods do u have in mind that u think will work. Remember that before this strike, both ASUU and govt have been talking. |
Saddam said the same thing, where is he today? What about Omar, the taliban leader, till date he is in hiding. |
Tusky44: ^^^ Ur post made no sense. I asked a legitimate question u are turning it to a tribal issue. Are y ok at all? |
priceless pearl: Those who are clamoring for the strike to continue are not wearing the shoes of the students. Granted, the public university is a far cry from what a standard university should be but making students sit at home for too long is not the best way to fight 4 what is right. Anyway I can only pray FG co-operates. Calm down, we have been there before and we know how it feels. I for one spent roughly 7yrs in Ife for a 5yrs course despite not having a single carry over throughout. It's unfortunate but this is the only language FG understand. If we don't benefit, our children must. |
riskit33: Hmmm, from the level of your activity on this thread and your responses, i'm tempted to ask you a question - Are you a member of ASUU or maybe a dependent relative of a member? None of the above. Just passionate about our educational sector. |
Burger01: NOw, the loggerhead has started proper. When two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers. My dear grasses (students I agree with u. I was also affected when I was in Ife. Infact before I entered and maticulated, I had already lost a session. Matrices number was a year late. However what must be done must be done. Our unis aren't in good shape and our govt is delibrately hindering the wheel of progress. |
