PoliticsRe: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by Demdem(m): 6:02pm On Aug 02, 2013
The stupidity and foolishness of these igbo leaders have been exposed again. The followers of Jonah Jang never fail to disappoint. Bunch of Retardeens.

i strongly urge Fashola to offload more of these destitutes and nonentities to their various states and families.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Demdem(m): 5:56pm On Aug 02, 2013
ujchief: The level of raw hatred, angst and venom being propagated in this section is terrible; and, in most recent times, reached an alarming peak. If internet is the only means of getting informed, then Nairaland will end up getting millions deformed. I'm totally unaware of any 'real' ruffle between igbos and yorubas in real life until I started partaking in discussions inside this section.

Something needs to be done, and urgently too. Those of us that can't really find any reason to indulge in tribal bashing are beginning to resent this forum. I'm aware that our leaders may have erred in one way or the other, but the level of hatred we fume against each other isn't something to smile about. Worst still, each comment we make here will remain in data base of search engines and will be reproduce verbatim even in decades to come.

Tell me how someone can remain unscathed after going thru the threads I listed below.

Its possible that recent events acted as catalyst to bring out the worst in us, but; mehn! There's heavy venom going on in the hearts of many here. It affects some of us negatively in the real life.

Something needs to be done.
u have a good point no doubt. Just because Fashola decides to relocate and unite former (but now treated) nonentities and destitute roaming in lagos to their families shouldnt be the source of discord. Fashola should be praised for this noble gesture. This action should be inculcated in other states. Responsible Igbos like Berem are still living in Lagos unhindered.
PoliticsRe: Ibo Govenors Tribalising Fashola's Moves by Demdem(m): 2:53pm On Aug 02, 2013
They are fast becoming a piece of shit. I see nothing wrong in uniting nonentites and former destitutes already cared for by LASG to their root.
PoliticsRe: Deportation Of Igbos From Lagos: Senator Ngige Speaks by Demdem(m): 2:50pm On Aug 02, 2013
Ngige spoke well. Fashola only assisted in uniting the destitutes and nonentities already cared for by LASG to their families. Responsible igbos are living comfortably in Lagos.
More of these rehabilitation is required nationwide.
Kudos to Fashola.

PapaBrowne: About crushing them on time, hmmm I wish you knew how the Nigerian military has been underinvested or misinvested over the years. At the time Jonathan came into power, Nigeria had little or no capacity in handling terrorism. Intelligence gathering capabilities were inept. It takes time to purchase technologies and build capabilities. There is no way the military would have been stupid enough at the time to engage in a battle they couldn't have won. Jonathan has super equipped the miltary and its obvious even in the kind of gear they put on and the ammunition they carry. But more importantly, the capacity to gather intelligence has been built and would serve Nigeria for ages to come.

Now, the most interesting thing is this: When Boko Haram is finally over, Nigeria will be the first country to have defeated terrorism. The Americans would have a lot to learn from us. They are definitely taking notes on the "Civilain JTF" strategy. In fact the world would have a lot to learn from the Nigerian strategy given how we have dealt both with the Islamic Insurgency and the Niger Delta Militancy.
[/s]

Complete Crap. U mean if the military had gone in on time they wouldn't have defeated those miscreants thereby saving innocent lives? Are those miscreants themselves trained? Abegi come up with another spin, this is far below ur intelligence.
PoliticsRe: Like Play, Like Play, Boko Haram Is Fading. by Demdem(m): 2:41pm On Jul 27, 2013
Excellent news and very pleasing to the ears. Kudos to the retardeen and the military.
Only if he had listened to voice of wisdom on time that he should crush this murrafuckers, those who died in their hands wouldn't have died. Jonathan was busy calling them his brothers and sisters.
Now the loved ones of those killed are left alone to mourn their death forever all because of retardeen earlier stupidity.
Next on line should be MEND. There is a need to either silently kill the likes of Tompolo, Ateke, Boyloaf etc or prosecute them for the evil they did all for their selfish interest.
Allowing them to continue to dine with the retardeen in Aso rock while relatives of their victims left in the cold to continue to mourn is definitely inappropriate. Now is the time for Jonathan to give these ones justice.

tpacalipse: Thank you for refreshing his memory.
The truth is just like any other media house be it print or electronic, none of them is perfect. Sometimes they get their stories wrong. Was it not The Guardian the other day that apologized for the lies Abati peddled against Buhari. A whole guardian got it wrong there. What about the numerous lies of govt media stations? The onus is on us the consumers to know what to accept and what not to.

List of ASUU demand

i. Funding requirements for Revitalization of theNigerian Universities
[s]ii. Federal Government Assistance to State Universities[/s]
iii. Establishment of NUPEMCO
iv. Progressive increase in Annual Budgetary Allocation to Education to 26% between 2009 and 2020
v. Earned Allowances
vi. Amendment of the Pension/Retirement Age of Academics on the Professorial cadre from 65to 70 years
vii. Reinstatement of prematurely dissolved Governing Councils
viii. Transfer of Federal Government Landed Property to Universities
ix. Setting up of Research Development Counciland Provision of Research Equipment to laboratories and classrooms in our universities.

And what is so difficult to implement from the above? I think and strongly believe that ASUU shouldnt back down till all of the above is implemented this time around.
