I can't believe this stupid post reached 4 threads. @op, why can't you get a first hand experience and die so that you can come back to confirm if Muslims go to heaven or not. |
......a constitution must never guide how people live. A constitution is limited to a set of relationships explaining among others 1. What government is and how it is structured 2. The heirarchy of authority and power over an orderly society 3. The beginning and end of these authorities and powers 4. The boundaries of reach and limitations prohibiting government from expanding its powers 5. What the people must do to keep government within its confines of limits 6. What the people must do if government fails to abide by the demands of these protocols of separation.
while I don't disagree with the points you raised, I however see it as incomplete as the statement I made. the constitution is a written jargon on paper which encompass the political, social and cultural views of the people and these emanate from people's way of lives. your points only touched the political aspects of it, what of other aspects? How can the constitution be just if each individual aspirations cannot be fulfilled? remember that a persons aspiration is subjected to views which is dependent on social and cultural background. |
Eko Ile: I went over this issue several times and finally reasoned with Fashola.the constitution guides the way we live, if we can't change it, we can't change our values. |
it will be best if Nigeria get weaker, it would allow the regions to rise up and challenge the behemoth holding everybody.down |
bashr4: this is just modern history of igbos it still does not indidcate tue origin , remember when the white men came different igbo groups didnt even know others existed, not matter how different the dialect were from rivers up to enugu to abia and imo they all stilll had the same meanings , same culture ,same market days. My thread focused on why people think we are light skined is because we are mixed this thread does not explain the light skin part which runs accross the various villages of igbo settlement. You are as light skinned as Ghanaians! Igbo no dey carry last. what is the source of this historical writings? |
ba7man: Sir, no one is claiming to be bettr off here but....these are your thot patterns so far: "I don't like my country","My tribe is hated"....,You know its your thots that will determine your actions which in turn determines where you'll end up.Wheee!Whuuuu!Wheeeee!(whining) |
Xris74: Yes, I am writing from my crib in VI, no work today. Please don't come to kill me oh!!Sharrap! you are not in VI, you are in Ajegunle...pathetic liar. |

may the orishas bless my ilya, may we walk nefa tumbu, if we tumbu, may we tumbu on Yetunde frontside, Ada backside and Halima allside, Ilya du Lagoon...Peace. |
afam4eva: Olu of Warri is just like having Amayanabo of Port-hacourt. This won't mean that the Amayanabo is the head of port-hacourt and that port-hacourt is an Ijaw town. rather it just means that he will be the head of Ijaws in PH. It's no different from having Eze Ndigbo Lagos just that in this case, Igbos are not indegenes of Lagos. The day Olu of Warri claims that he's the traditional ruler nof Warri is the day he will cease to exist. This is what caused the Warri crises in the 50s.However grudging respect your opinion, don't lose today. my mother's mama na from warri, married to an Ijebu man, warri had ever been indigenous itshe town, others migrated there because of trading opportunities, Ijaws to sell fish which itshekiri people take inside yorubaland. Go and enlighten yourself more on history of warri before you post another thread on this issue. |
Abagworo: Is Sapele an Itsekiri town? Anyway I don't see anything wrong with being related to anybody in the world. You seem to have a brain disorder to think that if someone seeks your relationship, then he's grabbing your land. They don't add up one bit. If you say Itsekiri migrated from Ife and Benin, does it in any way mean you are grabbing the land of Ife and Benin people?is Sapele now Igbo town? you may be related to me. |
jidestar: Since wen have success been apreciated by Nigerians. Tinubu single handedly cleared the path for Fashola to be able to make the transformation dat Lagos is now globally recognised for. Every other day, American super stars visit. Why don't dey go visit onitsha or any of the god forsaken places? Tinubu is a success. Hate all u want, na u go get heart attack.I refused to vote for fashola because he was hand picked by tinubu, now their team is the best performing by a large margin in years. |
Billyonaire: I rather think you did not understand the question that the poster asked. The online hatred of Tinubu is a reflection of street hatred of his person and I am simply offering those facts to buffer the reasons. I think Tinubu can not walk on the street without security, cos he is hated terribly. He needs to do something about his image so he wont be ALUUed by those he impoverished with his draconian rape of people's purses via his surrogates and fronts.Tinubu's house is on the busy bourdillon road, and he receives visitors openly, his government created lastma, lawma and converted agberos to tax paying business, creating different means of poverty alleviation which helped Fashola's government to reduce armed robbery cases by 80% which is openly felt (compare lagos today to 10yrs ago). so if you want to ALUU him you know where he lives you don't need to wait on the road for a chance to. |
azeezhy: If Tinubu is your mentor, I can vividly imagine what kind of a person you are.. People like you and him should be kept out of office at all cost.. Your mentor is a threat to the wholeness of my race (yorubas) and a threat to the unity of our country... He is a monopolist, a cruel capitalist who intends to and have been constantly trying to rubbish the legacy of a true leader (the sage) of whom he was a beneficiary.. He thinks he can use his dubious ways, corrupt mind to steal the leadership of the Yoruba race from the true and honest leaders..so you rather have a leaderless Yorubaland than risk having a monopolist? Tinubu is more of an awoist than you are, and when has he ever tried to rubbish the legacy of the sage? should HOD be king maker over us cos' she's Awo's wife? I say we should chose our leader by ourselves and I say Tinubu cos' he has shown strength, vision and had delivered in face of overwhelming odds and opposition. Can you point out the true and honest leaders you have seen? before you grow sentimental, try seeing through the facts. Were you not alive when Tinubu cried against Afenifere's adoption of Obasanjo for 2nd term? AD lost their states and we are still feeling the pains till today. ...Wow! I can't believe I just defended Tinubu. |
