Gamesmart: I really struggle to believe there are more Yorubas in the USA than Igbos.
I am suspecting maybe Yorubas just teach their kids their indigenous language more than Igbos.
There are more Yorubas in the UK than Igbo. I struggle to believe that is also the case in the USA. While you are struggling, think about these questions Which airport do you go to when you are travelling out of nigeria? Which group is closer to the airports than most? Which region is us embassy located Which group is more accessible to the embassy Struggle constructively not by sentiment |

Politics › Re: Ethnic Nationalism Is Now On The Rise In Nigeria by demmie1: 5:19pm On Nov 30, 2023 |
Kalakulu: And twitter (X) is now the epicenter of this brewing nationalism that has seen a serious re-awakening of several ethnic groups in Nigeria who are now vehemently leaning towards conservative ideologies. Everyday I'm on X, I see various ethnic groups hosting spaces where they discuss ways to preserve their ethnic heritage etc, the Ronu conservatives do their own and talk about Yoruba first and other sociopolitical issues affecting Lagos etc, the Igbos now seem more united more than ever and have converged under the "Alaigbo youth summit" to push Igbo first agendas which touch majorly on massively on bringing back their investments and wealth across all regions/diaspora back to the SE, then there's the rising sentiments of Middle Belt people who are very vocal and are pushing back against the inclusion of their Christian demography into the Muslim North, they want the immediate emergence of a Middle Belt political identity independent from the "One North" charade. Then we have the core Muslim North caucuses holding their own spaces to discuss the future and issues of their sub-regions, and you could sense even the core Muslim North are getting frustrated with Nigeria and want something different. Then we have the various South South ethnic groups having their discussions; the Itsekiri's seem very pro-Yoruba in their leanings while the Edo/Benin and Urhobo axis just don't like the Itsekiri people due to the whole agelong row over the ownership of Warri.
All these various ethnic groups forming their own political identity on social media definitely portends one thing; which is that the never ending issues of Nigeria which is tribalism is now a ticking time bomb
May God help this nation cause we're so divided. Tell us which of your ancestor was there when Nigeria was formed? Even if we bring it closer to our age, which one of your people sat down together and agreed that this and this is how Nigeria should be structured, if you have no answer for the questions then why are you praying that God should help what was not formed by him. |

Guyman01: That bitter woman continues to call Jasmine Mr Ibu adopted daughter, that's very wrong in Igbo culture because Mr Ibu has publicly declared her as his first daughter called Ada in Igbo culture which is a very powerful position in the family and she is an automatic member of Umuada in the community which warned Mr Ibus wife last time to stop disgracing her husband in public.
Mr Ibu has explained that after adopting her as a baby, he called his kinsmen and gave them all the rights according to customs and they accepted her as his first daughter and therefore the word "adopted daughter" should not be used in describing her but these stupid bloggers no go ever hear word.
Jasmine has virtually put her life at a stop to look after her father and she has the full support of her siblings but this woman is doing everything to distract them because she wants to control all the money, if she has control over those donations Mr Ibu will be abandoned to die and she will quickly remarry or go into oloshoism but Ibu is the only father Jasmine knows and we must commend her efforts, she loves her father dearly and Ibu is very comfortable with her helping to manage his health and has personally said so severally.
This is why men must invest in their daughters, na them go stand by you when you are down and defend you even from your wife and their mothers if they are digging a pit for you. Please allow the man to recuperate in peace ✌️ Pls try and educate these half informed niaralanders more o |

We have not forgotten the controversy generated when Vice-Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla was named the Chief of Naval Staff, with some Igbo leaders saying he did not come from “mainstream” Igbo! ! There are mainstream igbos, non mainstream igbos and osu igbos, yet yoruba will be complaining of igbos segmenting them to yoruba muslims. SMH |

Not until Lagosians get 24hours electricity and 5 metro rails including 4rth mainland bridge. Any big project joining other southwest is a no and it wont stand . When they start go and stop them.
