You Igbo keep sleeping and keep trusting GOD ,as God will never come down to liberate you from the hands of your notorious # 1 arch enemy , Yoruba .foolish igbo Keep befriending Yoruba ,stop chit chatting with YORROBERS they are not your friend ,heaven have to come down before you believe.
since you've now admitted to hating yoruba you can pack you nylon bags and move east. perhaps we would have more peace with you not around anymore.

Elueme: That one! We should give kudos to her for summoning courage to utter a word in the chambers after two years of acting like a statue. My only surprise is that she doesn't even understand her own statement, she also wanted to talk since others are talking and since talk is cheap so she talked the talk grin grin shocked shocked kiss kiss
well you are right at that. if talk is not cheap you dumbasses on the nairaland wouldn't be gibbering nonsense.

CyberG: Can you tell us how many German soldiers died of starvation while prosecuting a war on Soviet ground in WW 2? You mean when Marshal Zhukov cut off Von Paulus 6th Army, he waited to have them receive their food and supplies before continuing the battle? Tell us exactly.
You want to use battle of Stalingrad to explain warfare to an iboman? he wouldn't understand! please let them continue to blame ghosts. that's the only strategy they understand.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo Was Driven By An Overriding Ambition For Power-chinua Achebe by demmie1: 8:05am On Oct 05, 2012
All of you are just yammering and yabbing, yet you refused to point out why ibos lost the war.
1. ibos fought a modern war with cutlass and charms.
2. they fought with food insecurity.
3. they were new to any form of warfare.
4. they fought modern warfare without allies.
5. they fought without proper strategic plans.
6. they went for the offensive against a better equipped opponent.
7. they attacked the west!
PoliticsRe: Awolowo Was Driven By An Overriding Ambition For Power-chinua Achebe by demmie1: 7:39am On Oct 05, 2012
pazienza: Biafra lives in the heart of any noble igboman, both the vocal and non vocal ones, am glad biafra still lives in the heart of achebe. One Nigeria, a country built on the blood of millions of igbos is living on borrowed time. The next biafran war would be fought differently.
hen!hen! learn from your mistakes and errors to fight the next one differently instead of blaming others that won. but tell your would be strategists to play defense before attack, if you attack the west again you will be beaten over and over again. maybe then you won't need to blame anyone.
PoliticsRe: Kano Town Was Founded By An Igbo Trader by demmie1: 4:52pm On Sep 28, 2012
afam4eva: I don't know how true this claim is and even if it's true, it doesn't mean that it's an Igbo town.
but if its lagos you would believe it.
I almost forgot...you are already claiming it to be Ibo City.
CultureRe: He refused to Prostrate as Yoruba culture demands by demmie1: 7:51pm On Sep 27, 2012
truth about prostrating in Yoruba culture.
1. you bow your head lightly to someone a little older or honored as a sign of respect.
2. you bend your head with your hand touching your knee or the ground to an elderly.
3. you fall completely on the floor if you offend someone(s) or if you are requesting for something unwilling to give out.
4. pre-colonial: you fall on the floor rolling in complete humility if you offend an older and powerful individual.
so prostrating during wedding shows that you are seriously demanding their daughter which they are unwilling to give out. it's a sign that you are begging with humility for someone you love.
CultureRe: Historical Relation Between Edo And Yoruba Culture And Politics by demmie1: 7:25pm On Sep 27, 2012
Please, I do not want to create confusion, but I would like to ask:

How do present-day ibos relate?

"Egho" sounds like "ego", meaning money in ibo language.
Nosamega, you saying something there?

No offence, please. Just say what you know.

I'm learning AND nodding. Naija go make am!
this is strictly Yoruba-Edo (family)matter, don't bring ibos into it.
PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian? by demmie1: 11:49pm On Sep 26, 2012
Aigbofa: I did and I answered your question. If you don't have the urge to take the next Ekenedili Chukwu whenever there's uncertainty in Lagos, then you are a Lagosian.
simpulu!
PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian? by demmie1: 11:14pm On Sep 26, 2012
Ngodigha: In that case only Eguns are Lagosians. Others are immigrats to Lagos.
you're an insufferable ignoramus! do you want to claim that people of ikorodu epe and ibeju are not indigenes of lagos?!
PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian? by demmie1: 11:06pm On Sep 26, 2012
Ngodigha: Minus this few you mentioned, others claim Lagos state. It is nice though for them to see pride in their towns. Probably, they are following your footsteps.
this goat is extremely stubborn. if you mention a few more names he will still stand on his 'minus these few 'more'.
PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian? by demmie1: 4:37pm On Sep 26, 2012
saxywale: Oh boi, I am not igbo. Infact, I am an Ife Prince from the Oshikola ruling family (The same fam that produced the former governor of the Western Region). cool

The op asked for meaning of a lagosian, I don't think he is asking for "state of origin". I was born and bred in Lagos, sure that makes me a lagosian but I am not indigenous to Lagos.
you've said it all. now to explain it for better comprehension, a lagosian is:
an indigence of Lagos.
born and bred in lagos.
that can speak the language of lagos.
if you fall into any of the category you qualify.
so afam are you a lagosian?
PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian? by demmie1: 4:24pm On Sep 26, 2012
afam4eva: Where did i make that assertion? lagos doesn't belong to anyone. It's owned by the NIgerian state under the law even though it's indigenous to Yorubas. The constitution supersedes anything and everything.
now we are getting somewhere. if Lagos doesn't belong to anyone how are yorubas indigenes?
you are just going round and roundabout trying to prove a point. come on, spit it out.

PoliticsRe: Movement For The Creation Of FESTAC STATE by demmie1: 12:27am On Sep 22, 2012
Obiagu1: If need be, Ajegunle, if it's contiguous to Festac State, will be added to the new state and redeveloped. Development is what we know how to do best.
Talk is cheap, especially for mad men like you. why is your east so depraved of development.
CultureRe: The True Extent Of Alaigbo (Igboland) by demmie1: 1:39pm On Sep 18, 2012
anybody can claim any land as his own, its easy to draw out lines on a map and claim it as your land. I bet yorubas can say their land reach beyond forcados and Hausa can claim osogbo as part of their land(well, they are claiming otta already). it is not for anybody to say except the people concerned to determine who they are, town by town, village by village by vote. this is how all modern boundary lines should be drawn and lets forget boundary lines created in myths.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Science More Accurate Than The Bible? by demmie1: 12:00pm On Sep 18, 2012
Freksy: Scientists have long believed that the earth revolved around the sun, which was stationary. This caused them to scoff at the following verses which, they said, taught the opposite…

"Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end;And there is nothing hidden from its heat". -Psalms 19:4-6 (NKJV)

However it was later discovered that the sun is in fact moving through space at an average velocity of 828,000 km/hr. It is traveling through the heavens and has a "circuit", just as the Bible says. It is estimated that its circuit is so large, it would take 230 million years to complete one orbit.

This discovery is very recent when compared to when Psalm 19:4-6 was written......more than 2000 years ago.

Oyawuni, the bible is not a science textbook, but it's almost always ahead of man whenever it deals on scientific issues.

Please note, when God created man, He never said they should not explore the universe and discover what He has in stored for them, provided they do not go contrary to His will, like what Nimrod and his men attempted to do many many years ago.

Man is creative simply because God created man in His image.
bro, their is no circuit in Hebrew. go and check direct translations from JWs.

Mosunmola : I'm closer to my riches.

Atinuke : I'm pampered from the tummy. Pampered even before birth.
you still miss it. Mosunmola means closer to wealth not riches. Yoruba clearly differentiate between wealth and riches. wealth is ola riches is oro like or-or
