snnipsi: I am not a Tinubu's fan, but I get to learn that, whether thru crooked or clean means, the true federalism, significant changes and development, which has made south-west states a point of envy, is worth noting about Tinubu.now that's why I am his fan! have you never heard of the statement that politicians are criminals? That Tinubu could do all these and challenged Obasanjo to stalemate even with EFCC witch-hunting weapon of Baba is an achievement worthy of nobel award. |
ITbomb: Worse than the PDP godfathers, making sure only his relative gets into elective positions and hand picking a governor without regards to the votes of the people.are you dumb for the sheer fun of it? the OP asked a question, you are picking on garbage. what's the evidence of power if he's not doing things you posted. |
gbadexy: That na confirm na, lagos economy is definitely bigger than ghana's economy but I doubt if lagos economy or nigerian economy for that matter is bigger than that of U.KI wonder how you guys misinterpret quotes. he did not say Lagos state economy is bigger, he said positive that means lagos state is expected to perform better than the mentioned countries. where UK is expected to grow at 5% Lagos is expected to grow at 7%. that's what positive outlook on economy means. |
Mere reading the topic is enough to make one curse this man. did he not spend a total of twelve years as the president? he should advise himself and pack all past and present leaders in a jumbo jet and crash it. |
Malawian...Stupid tout. |
@OP, Some people are just like this, it doesn't matter where they come from. I shared the same room with a guy in school once, he did exactly as you said. He would move other people's things anyhow and turn it to quarrel if you question him. He always wanted to have the last say in every discussion, turning them to arguments and aggravating to quarrel if he's losing out. After deliberate and intense study of the guy by different psychology students (which he didn't know that he was being studied) it was concluded that he doesn't have respect for other people feelings and had extreme ego. The best thing you can do for yourself in the marriage is to let him have his way everytime or...I don't know. |
Edo men sucks.
oh shut up! |
NRI PRIEST: What does Keagborekuzi mean? I do know the meaning cause its Igbo but i want you to tell me more lies.Tell us if you know it, stop being a fool. |
ifyalways: Its such a shame when either of Yoruba-Igbo-Hausa cry marginalization.None of those 3 should use th M-word in this country.Gbam! |
haaaa! it's unforgivable sin ![]() |
U R OSU ![]() |
Old couples are having their fun, the rest of you came on the internet yammering and fuming over keyboards. Its a free world, get a life. ![]() |
spywareczar: APC: muslims party or what?Your mouth is extremely dirty, that's why you drooled in your post like a fu.KIN RE-TAR-DO. What's religion has to do with it? |
if this claim is true, I will vote Jonathan come 2015 just to spite these bloody fools who think Nigeria is theirs...and shoot him after. |
7842I: It is funny how the entire western Nigeria has been struggling to discredit the great works of a great literary giant with funny write ups like this one. I know more will be written but the truth has since been exposed, moral of the story, you cannot back stab another person and expect him to forget it. Good work Achebe. It's the truth...only to the Igbos. Did you know Achebe called Igbos ibos in the book? |
berem: very loooong thread! btw i thought we were done with Achebe? una don come again this year! make una free the man abeg.My problem here with those that have not seen the book and have started throwing missiles over it. |
texazzpete: I'm sorry but all this talk about someone being immune to criticism becasuse he's 'well known' and 'famous' are pure bunkum and the proponents of this imbecilic viewpoint should be ashamed of themselves.Thank You! I read mien kampf when I was in my first year in the university, my lord! the book was so boring! I could not grasp any message that's worth something in it. I came across there was a country last week, the first thing that came to my mind was that it could be another boring book despite the mass of issues surrounding it, I'm still waiting for someone to buy it and borrow me sha, so i won't feel cheated of my money. |
^^^I'm just starting to realise this as well. Achebe has earned my respect a thousand times over with this book. By now peeps should realise Achebe is someone that speaks his mind and the truth no matter whose 'delicate' sensibilities are hurt. He's a legend!
'with this book he says' quote a page in the book if you have read it. at least if he earned your respect with it, there would have been something special in it to make him earn it. |
Gbawe: Scared9gerian, shut up.For once I agree with him though. If these people really have interest in SNC they wouldn't need the APC to propose it. |
I can see Nigerians need a quick change that's why they are veilled with lots of bias and sentiments. Unfortunately, this energy nigerians use in winning elections on nairaland will never be shown on ground. We know that for sure! APC is a welcomed developement. Its going to give PDP a run for her money if they can observe what Oshio said. "all personal interests aside". But we all know it won't happen with Nigerian mindset and culture of tribalism, nepotism, quota system and federal character. The question now is: 1. Is this an Hausa/Yoruba party created to oust a southsoutherner? NO! the hausa wants the presidency at any cost, and the yoruba wants to remove the evil' pdp govt and the perceived marginalisation of the SW 2. Are the party positions going to be based on zoning? the truth is nobody believes in zoning, they just use it as political yardstick. 3. Is the presidency going to be based on zoning and why? 4. Has zoning been in the best interest of Nigeria? 5. What's the difference between the likes of Tinubu, Ikimi, Udenwa, Shekarau, Idris and the likes of B.George, Obj, Ibb and Anenih? they are all criminals as any other politician, but the former had at least stolen and delivered to some extent, the later stole with impunity without giving anything back. Some people have even encouraged APC not to have anything to do with SE and SS. Same advice they gave Buhari in the last 2 general elections. Well, Oshiomole knows and understands the Nigerian masses better. It doesn't matter how big the new party is, its the intents that will count at the end of the day.
bottomline is to remove pdp from government and start over again, and if apc goes the way of pdp,i trust the southwest, they will knock them out and go back to opposing the ruling party like they did the AD and the PDP in the zone. |
glen87: Let's see how APC will win SE, SS and middlebelt. Daydreaming partyif apc wins the north and southwest, there would be no need to win south east and south south. middle belt can be split 50/50, that's the idea. |
Koolking: Misplacement of priority and indecent move by Lagos Task force. They should rather start from closing down the brothel houses in Lagos. Ikeja is the capital of pornographic activities in Lagos. Ikeja has the highest number of brothel houses in Lagos and they are all conspicuously sited.if internet is not censored, go back to stone age. abi if mountain no come meet Mohamed, he go go meet mountain. |
Bliss4Lyfe: Nigeria is becoming rotten.you no dey do am? abeg comot. |
Originalsly: When hawked in the streets everyone is exposed to it and is free to buy regardless of age. I guess you wouldn't think it bad either if they hawk crack and coke...after all...they not forcing anyone to buy.go to Netherlands and see how its done...yeah I'm talking about crack and coke, there are special joints for those. |
well, i never knew how humiliating and devastating selling p0rn in the open was till i was standing on a bus stop one day with my newly-disv1rgined girlfriend when she wanted to buy some oranges and beside the orange seller was a p0rn hawker. When my Virginia saw the humongous d1cks hanging on the waist of p0rn stars like Wesley Pipe, Mandigo and Lexington Steele, she asked me 'are those things real?', i said 'no baby, those are just rubber attached to their waists'.
chei! so na tiny experience you gif am. introduce am for me na make I gif am XL experience. |
49cents: whichever way you want to look at it Pornography materials remains an aberration that always lead to the abuse of the facility and gift of human sexuali.ty.....Pornography is like eating good food from a potty full of f aeces...u will always end up with a stomach upset.
