Salam alaykum lanrexlan.... I have a question pls.... The two rakkah to be prayed before subhi prayer.. Is there any specific surah to be recited. Secondly, the naflah before zuhr prayer. Is it 2 or 4 rakkahs, and is it just fatihah to be recited or with other surahs. Thanks |

Adeebiwa09:Good observation, I am a Muslim, and I agree with you, so, i will try and help you out with the meanings. Dhirk means remembrance in Allah Tilawat means Studying the Qur’an in order to understand it in the way should be... Salat means the prayers muslims engage in. We have the compulsory prayers which are the 5 daily prayers and other voluntary prayers. Dawah means calling People to the path of Islam. Also known as envagelism. Tahajud means staying awake at night to give praises to Allah and seek his help for your needs. Also known ad vigil. Dua means supplications |

Salam alaykum brothers and sisters in Islam, what a nice thread and brainstorming advice you have here. I have always followed this thread and sometimes get to miss out on it, but alhamdullilahi, I have been able to catch up with the last 6 Pages. I must commend the efforts of the core contributors. The problems are enormous, we can only try our best, and sometimes no matter how hard you try, somethings you never wished for just come your way as regards to falling in love and finding of life partners. All this while, you all have been discussing about the muslimah marrying a non Muslim as haram, which truly is, because it takes her and her children away from Islam, instead of looking or a way to bring forth our offspring into Islam. I want you guys to discuss the other way round for a Muslim who marries a female Christian, since its is permissible, but eventhough it is permissible, that is if she truly converts to Islam before the marriage. We all know that the society we find ourselves in is lacking islamic virtues, even most muslims are just by names, and most her struggling to practice Islam as prescribed, eventhough she converts, there are hardly any reliable islamic organisations or structures on ground who will make her see beyond her reason for conversion from the love of her husband to the love of Allah. Having to go through the understanding of Islam, will be somehow difficult from learning to read the quran, reciting surats for prayers, learning the hadiths and sunah of the prophet (SAW), and how does she pass this knowledge down to the children when they start coming forth, having it in mind that, converting someone into Islam is jihad. I have a case of two women, which I want to share with you, I used to have this neighbour, her husband is a Christian, she is a Muslim, a practising one at that, she strives hard to practise Islam and doesn't joke with her prayers and asalatu, but suddenly, I was shocked to see her convert to Christianity some few years back, I had to asked my mother, what the problem was, she said, the woman was once a Christian, I could not believe it, she said, the husband i know was not her first husband, that her first husband was an alhaji but died, she had to remarry this her present husband, for over 15years, she didn't convert back to Christianity eventhough her present husband is a christian, not until some few years back, her reason, I do not know, maybe pressure from her husband. While the case of the second woman is shocking, not until lastweek that I was discussing with my sister about this issue of a Muslim man marrying a female christian, she said, one has to be careful, and be sure that she really will convert beyond the love for her husband, she said something shocking of a woman I know really well, that if she tells me that woman was once a christian before she married her husband, I was shocked, because you can never have thought of it for once because of the way she practice Islam even far better than her husband that made her convert, and doesn't joke with the childrens islamic education. There are many more to say but this is just too long enough. Please I want you all to discuss it from the angle of a male Muslim, marrying a female Christian, looking at it from the different points that I have outlined above and yours. Note: Maclatunji, after going through your last contributions, I feel you are harsh when it comes to relating with muslims that need little push to be conscious of their DEEN, it is not a good method of dawah.... I really enjoy your post on Nairaland. This was just observed this morning when going through the thread. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Is Cristiano Ronaldo The Most Complete Player In The Planet? by demmy66: 8:35pm On Sep 20, 2013 |
Since the origin of this world best player award, ni one has ever heard about the word, "most complete player". This word was coined out by CR7 fans when they could not shove it down our throat that CR7 is a better player. However, I find it hard to believe that people still find it hard to accept when its very obvious that messi is by far d best player, CR7 isn't even close to other footballing greats let alone messi. 1 Like |
