jjohndoe83: Hello All. I'm looking for information about living in the Durham Region of Ontario. That is Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa, Whitby. Is there anyone on the forum who has experience living in these areas.
Information like where best to rent. Ease of access to Toronto (assuming I'm to work in Toronto and live in Durham).
Access to job opportunities, including various "survival" roles. I work in a regulated field and will take sometime to qualify in my profession.
I would be grateful to receive information about the advantages of starting out life in Canada in this region.
Note: the people who on this forum appear to live in these areas are not exactly active here. Hi Jondoe, did u still move to the east? I stay in oshawa, sent u a mail. |

Ifeoma77: Congratulations again. Your situation is interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong but the way I understood it; you got ITA as a single person and got AOR as married? Did your spouse do ECA or IELTS? Were your scores high enough to make up for the loss in points or are points locked in at ITA? Please expatiate, because you're about to become a reference point Pardon my error, My church wedding was 3 years ago so i entered the pool as married, got ITA as married, only after ITA I decided to do court and add to my church wedding cert. |

Deniceone: And He chose to favour me! Despite my faithlessness and unfaithfulness, He remained faithful Thanks to every one for all the congratulatory messages and well wishes. May God meet us all at our various points of need in Jesus name. Amen I am very sorry I am not good writer. I wish I could call someone up and tell him/her the story of my journey and have them write it cos I really really enjoy reading PPR stories My application was basically simple and straight forward. For IELTS St Joseph of Cupertino's prayer and novena came through. Proof of Employment came with ease, employment letter, promotion letter, pay slips, and letter from HR in CIC format. Proof of Sibling was Marriage certificate showing same parents, and attestation for both of us. ( I got attestation by proxy for my sibling. (I d carry am go give am for canada) Proof of Fund was a clear act of God. Used notarized gift deed. I Left the lump sum in my account no treasury bills or fixed deposit. Submitted 6 months statement with a letter from the bank that was almost in CiC format. My advice, please just start the process and see how u will receive wisdom on how to get funds. Proof of marriage; My church wedding was 3 years ago so i entered the pool as married, got ITA as married, only after ITA I decided to do court and add to my church wedding cert. So i submitted my church wedding certificate, wedding pictures, and court marriage cert. No LOE I read all the pages of this thread, in fact I studied it. And it was worth it. The wealth of knowledge on this forum is beyond measure. Thanks to all who have researched and used their 'data' to put info on the thread. Special thanks to Smlive, and vickyehi, they assisted me with info when I needed it. The way we have supported each other on this journey makes me know there's hope for Nigeria, I mean 'we good people' and 'great nation' later See y'all in Canada! |

ModupeSylvia: Please do no use Etx. I repeat- Do not use Etx. They are money collecting agencies and fraudsters. After paying them, I ended up processing my transcript with the help of my father. Plus after collecting your money, they provide you with no number to call them. Additionally, they stop replying your mails after a while. This is TRUE! People be wise! |

Cheers Thanks, I clicked "save and add" after each entry. All my entries are in the table below. If I was timed out my entries will not reflect on the table I guess. mcstan18: That sounds fine especially if you send in his CAC form C01 among other documents showing that he is the sole/principal director and reserves the right to make such transactions on his own. However, to avoid back and forth during file reviews, let your brother transfer directly from his personal account and draft a gift deed to that effect. Oook, Thank you very much. but this means I ll withdraw the money pay it back to him and get him to use his personal account. |
