Christianity EtcRe: Big-Bang Theory Doesn't Make Enough Sense by denitro(m): 12:25pm On Apr 19, 2013
I have 1 problem with the Big Bang Theory
1. Speed of light vs speed of Matter
Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, or almost 670 million miles per hour.
According to Einstein's theory of relativity, nothing moves faster than the speed of
light. In fact, according to his theory, anything that even approaches the speed of
light, of necessity must become converted to light. Therefore, if an object is solid,
it must move at a speed considerably slower than the speed of light.

For the sake of comparison, let's assume that in space all matter is traveling at
one-fifth the speed of light or 134 million miles an hour.
With this understanding, if our star was made from matter that came from the big bang,
then it becomes almost impossible to explain how light from the Big Bang could travel
for 12 billion years in order to reach the point it took us 13.7 billion years to get to
when we were traveling at one-fifth the speed of light, especially since we both came
from the same place at the same time. For that to happen, our planet would have to
have been going faster than the speed of light and then slowed way down to let
light catch up with us.

How gullible do they think Nigerians are?
So GEJ cannot read?
So the Council of State don't know their history very well?
So the Council of State did not deliberate on each name on the list before submitting the
said list to the president?
So nobody on the Council of State could even do a research on his own regarding the list?

Romance9 Words Used By Women by denitro(op): 5:29pm On Mar 27, 2013
1.) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to
shut up.
.
2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes
is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game
before helping around the house.
.
3.) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should
be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing
usually end in fine.
.
4.) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission.
Don’t Do It!
.
5.) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood
by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting
her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing.
(Refer back to #3 for the meaning of
nothing.)
.
6.) That’s Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to
a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how ‘n
when you will pay for your mistake.
.
7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question,or Faint. Just say you’re welcome.
.
8.) Whatever : Is a women’s way of saying F*** YOU!
.
9.) Don’t worry about it, I’ll do it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is
something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself.
This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’ For the woman’s response refer to
Turbo, then RUN!!!
PoliticsRe: List Of People Pardoned By Bill Clinton (Re: GEJ's Pardon Of Alamieyeseigha) by denitro(m): 1:55pm On Mar 25, 2013
BILL CLINTON NEVER PARDONED THEM
1. Bob F. Griffin (Bill Clinton didn't pardon Bob, he commuted his sentence - there is a big difference).
Commutation of sentence involves the reduction of legal penalties, especially in terms of imprisonment. Unlike a pardon, a commutation does not nullify the conviction and is often conditional. Clemency is a similar term, meaning the lessening of the penalty of the crime without forgiving the crime itself.
2. Anold Paul Prosperi (Bill Clinton didn't pardon Arnold)
While Prosperi was awaiting sentencing, Clinton commuted any total period of confinement that had already been imposed or could be imposed in the future. In essence Clinton placed a cap on the sentence Prosperi could recieve.
3. Melvin J. Reynolds - (Bill Clinton didn't pardon Melvin J. Reynolds) - He commuted the sentence
Reynolds was sentenced to five years in prison, thus he expected to be released in 1998. However, in April 1997 he was convicted on 15 unrelated counts of bank fraud and lying to SEC investigators. These charges resulted in an additional sentence of 78 months in federal prison. Reynolds served all of his first sentence, and served 42 months in prison for the later charges. At that point, President Bill Clinton commuted the sentence for bank fraud. As a result, Reynolds was released from prison and served the remaining time in a halfway house.
4. Dorothy Rivers - (Bill Clinton didn't pardon Dorothy Rivers) He commuted her sentence
Commute prison sentence to 50 months' imprisonment, leaving intact and in effect the remaining provisions
5. Peter McDonald - (Bill Clinton didn't pardon Peter McDonald) He commuted his sentence
The day before President Bill Clinton left office in 2001, U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy lobbied the White House to commute the sentence of the former leader.

Our Yansh: Aside poisoning the hearts and minds of the younger generation of a Nation he had no belief in, he did well as a literary giant. I also appreciate his stance on issues of governance, corruption and transparency. If only he had kept his bigotry in check, Achebe would have qualified to be a Nigerian hero, but his final shots placed him as an IBO hero.

jimcaddy: I really wonder if some people watched the game ysterday or wat they do is to hate bcause its Man Utd. United rily controlled d game caus Fergie got his tactics spot on. He knew a draw wuld send us thru, dat explains why rooney and chicharito were sat on d bench. Poor officiating from the turkish ref. He shld have used his fucking discretion to give nani a yellow just for the sake of this big match. Didn't De Jong get a yellow for a red card tackle on xabi alonso at the world cup? Just for the fucking sake of the match turkish ref. That decision ruined the tactics and gave madrid an extra edge. Even if madrid were still goin to beat us, at least we wuld not have gone down like dis without a fight. But we live to fight anoda day. Am glad UEFA has made their moni for pairing a game like dis at this stage. We still have two trophies to play for, so it wuldnt be a bad season afterall.

Christianity EtcRe: Give Your 'Tithes' And Offerings To The Less Fortunate In Church by denitro(m): 12:14pm On Mar 03, 2013
frosbel: This Sunday in Church , take your 'Tithes' and Offerings to Church.

When the service gets to the Malachi 3 session, look for anyone around you who has real needs, and give your tithes and offerings to them.

Better still ask the ushers or pastors to ask the following people to come forward :

- Mothers who do not know where the next meal for the family will come from
- Fathers who have lost their Jobs
- Widows who have no husbands
- Orphans who have no parents.
- Students who are barely eating talk less of paying school fees
- Those who wear rags or who have no shoes
- the homeless and destitute.

Do not give it to the ushers or take it to the front of the church , give it to these people, these are GOD's children who have real needs, yes, they are the ones who need your money, your spare clothes and shoes, extra cars etc.

I repeat, do not give a dime to your church or pastor and let us see how they will react !!!!

TravelRe: How Painful US Visa Denial Could Be.... by denitro(m): 5:55pm On Mar 01, 2013
Don't try to impress them, they can sense desperation.
My uncle had this experience in the US embassy last year.
A day to his interview he went to print his bank statement and found a long queue,
in a hurry he left and decided to use an older statement (2 weeks earlier),
the only problem was that the statement had a negative balance. -N57,000

On the day of the interview:
The interviewer asked him who was sponsoring his trip, my uncle said he was.
Then she looked at his bank statement and saw a negative balance and exclaimed
"But you have no money in your account!" My uncle replied: "Thats to show you the
kind of person I am, for the bank to trust enough to even loan me their money"
He said that he's a business man and doesn't believe in putting money in the
bank.
Surprisingly she told my uncle to come back tomorrow for his visa.

Be original and don't sense desperate.

Christianity EtcRe: Can One Pray To God To Forgive The Sins Of Another? by denitro(m): 11:23am On Feb 24, 2013
Yes.
Sins fall under 2 categories
1. Sins that the sinner can perform restitution on his own.
e.g Stealing - The sinner returns that which he has stolen

2. Sins that the sinner can never perform restitution on his own
e.g Murder - How do you return a taken life?
Fornication - How do you return what both parties have taken?

Category 1: The sinner may pray to God for forgiveness
Category 2: The sinner requires a repentant, broken heart and also requires one with a higher authority
to help him intercess on his behalf with God. (That is why confession is important in the christian
world)

After all:
Christ did it:
"Father forgive them for they know not what they do"

SO
Jose Mourinho should share in (Roberto Di Matteo) Chelsea's Champions league glory
because he brought Drogba, Essien, Cech, Mikel, Ashley Cole to Chelsea.
HOW DUMB
This is football and not some beauty contest.
Football is serious business.
Success or a claim to it is a factor of ATTRIBUTE * RESULT

SUCCESS CAN'T BE BORROWED IT HAS TO BE EARNED.

Wrong motive...
Your N100,000 is as good as you flushing it down the toilet.
If your motive is to get rich while starting a business, you are wasting your time.
Find a trade, master it, invest in it, love it and make money from it.
And maybe you might eventually become rich
