Advise GEJ - I will not back down *When the teeth fall off, the nose is sure to collapse GEJ - Fuel subsidy only favouring some few Nigerians *A man who has one finger pointing at another has three pointing towards himself. NLC - We are ready for a showdown *Let's fight, let's fight, no one knows whom fighting would favor. Nairalanders - Government is useless, Nigeria is useless (Many have been saying it) *If the owner of a calabash calls it a worthless calabash, others will join him to use it to pack rubbish. NLC to mobile students, Artisans, Mothers etc *It is when there is a stampede, that a person with big ikebe knows that he carries a load. |
Thank you so much for your observation, Tinsel is Absolute Rubbish |

Ghana population is 15 million + while Nigeria is 140 million + For Ghana 2000MW is enough but Nigeria needs at least 20,000MW where will they get the power to sell to us, pathetic news |

A total of 1,020 grammes of substances, tested as cocaine three years ago in Police Forensic Laboratory, have mysteriously turned into Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), while in the custody of the police. The transformation was noticed after a re-test of the substances this year by the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA). This resulted in the acquittal and discharge by an Accra Circuit Court yesterday of a woman standing trial for possessing the substances. The woman, Nana Ama Martins was arrested in 2008 with the substances. The court has indicted the Police Administration and has ordered the Inspector-General of Police to institute a service enquiry to determine who might have tampered with the substance. http://newtimes.com.gh/story/police-indicted-as-cocaine-turns-into-baking-soda AFRICA WE HAIL DEE!!! |
The drug “Edolite”, according to Prof. Izevbigie is very potent in the management of diabetes, prostrate enlargement in men and bosom cancer in women is currently produced in America and would be produced locally in Nigeria as from February 2012. Management or Cure, Please clarify that statement, |
Aparche:I don't think so, Paul was referring to the next life Just as there are different degrees of righteousness on the earth, there are kingdoms of differing glory in the next life: 1) the celestial kingdom is the highest, the Glory of the Sun 2) terrestrial is next, the Glory of the moon 3) telestial is last, the Glory of the stars If we are worthy, we can be placed into one of those Kingdoms of God. God himself is in the Celestial Kingdom, which is eternal happiness. |
THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO NIGERIA. From December 31, I will be a HAPPY man. Okada is a disgrace to our country and a bad habit we must drop. |

This statement by the CJN doesn't make sense. Let's reason: A particular charge has been brought against a particular corrupt public servant lets say EMBEZZLEMENT of public funds. which let's make an assumption carries a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years. The defendant has a choice to plead guilty or not guilty to the charge, Statement: by CJN ****************** Plea bargain is an agreement in a criminal case whereby the prosecutor offers the defendant the opportunity to plead guilty, typically for a lesser charge for a reduced punishment/sentence. It is a prosecutorial tool that allows criminal defendants to avoid the risk of conviction at trial on the original more severe charge. ****************** I am not grounded in law, but I don't think that is true. I believe a plead bargain offers the defendant the opportunity to plead guilty, typically for a reduced punishment/sentence You plead guilty and then get the minimum sentence, if you decide to allow the prosecutor go through the trouble of a trial then you get the maximum I don't understand the statement of the CJN, can someone please help me with some explanation, ? |
(Nairaland is a true reflection of the society we live in) From most of the comments posted here, I can see that Nigeria will be a terrible place to live at the moment. * You can post something on Nairaland without someone insulting you * You can drive on the road innocently without some form of harassment Comparison, Chinua Achebe l Ayodele Awojobi Age: born 16 November 1930 born March 12, 1937 Education Status: University Professor and professor Youngest professor in Mechanical Engineering of Africana studies Brown University First African to be awarded the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) in Mechanical Engineering at the then Imperial College of Science and Technology, London Achievements: Gained worldwide attention for Things He christened Autonov 1 Fall Apart in the late 1950s Similarities: Disliked corrupt government - When Disliked corrupt government - He used the universities as a bastion the region of Biafra broke away from Nigeria , going from campus to campus to make speeches at student- in 1967, Achebe became a devoted supporter rallies, hoping to sensitize them to what he perceived as the of Biafran independence and served as ills of a corrupt government ambassador for the people of the new nation In my opinion Professor Ayodele Awojobi would have rejected the national award too, |

Medicine men in my village can do the same. During my grandfather's burial - one fetish man came to our family demanding some money saying if we don't pay he will send down rain during the burial. My uncle refused, True to this words, They couldn't bury my grandfather that day because the rain was pouring, People were sent to look for this man and the money was given to him, the next day - no rain, |
WWE is entertainment much like the movie industry, It is reality played out with a script written out and delivered to the wrestlers who's responsibility is to keep fans entertained, WWE is staged not FAKE |
Siasia got what he deserved, he was not matured enough to handle the Super Eagles. carrying a couple of over aged players to an under-aged tournament doesn't make you a good coach. This is to serve as a lesson for all aspiring incompetent coaches who think that coaching a national team like Nigeria is not hard work and requires the best in the industry, |
DNA evidence is there waiting for someone to use his common sense and solve the case, Obtain DNA from semen if any and then keep it in the Police file, When Nigeria advances to the stage where we can keep DNA record of criminal, immigration files etc, Names will pop up when compared to DNA at the scene, It might take 20 years but they will catch the culprits, THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE |
I totally disagree, If the allocation for the local government was increased, it would result in more looting for the chairmen. There is a saying, "If ye are faithful in little things, then ye shall be faithful with Bigger things" Instead the Local Government should be audited more often, the climate should be harsh for elected chairmen who want to loot, When I see the level of corruption within each L.G.A I weep for Nigerians, A L.G.A Chairman spends his tenure looting, fighting his enemies and doing everything else except the very reasons he was elected in the 1st place, After his tenure, he is then re-elected based on |
