PoliticsRe: Reps Ask ECOWAS To Stop Deportation Of Nigerians From Ghana by denitro(m): 11:41am On Jun 25, 2012
I don't think all these is true.
I live in GHANA..
Nobody is deporting anybody...
From what I understand, the Ghana government said buying and selling is a trade
reserved for Ghanaian. In order to discourage foreigners from disfranchising the
average citizen here, $300,000 was put by the government as start up capital for
any foreigner willing to sell goods in a store or shop.

As usual our Nigerians brother think they are above the law.
They set up shops n sell without first
* Finding out about the law of the country
* Doing the necessary things to enable them sell.

Now the Ghana government has posted flyers, posters everywhere warning foreigners
from desist from selling...

I don't see how that amounts to deportation...

N.B: I am a Nigerian here with a registered company and doing business here.
CelebritiesRe: Rev Chris Okotie Weds Stephanie Henshaw by denitro(m): 6:46pm On Jun 24, 2012
This news is really sad as I wonder how his congregation will feel bringing marital issues to its leadership.

Rev Chris Okotie's second marriage has sadly ended after only four years. The Head Pastor of Household of God announced in church a few hours ago after the last service that he has separated from Stephanie Henshaw whom he married in August 2008. He told his congregation that he wanted to be the one to break the sad news to them and hoped for their understanding. He also said there was no going back...that the marriage was over!

This is Rev Okotie's second failed marriage.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Difference Between SOUL & SPIRIT? by denitro(m): 6:20pm On Jun 22, 2012
The spirit and body together constitute the Soul of Man (Mankind). "The spirit and the body are the soul of man"
The soul is the union of a spirit, and a temporal body, which is formed by physical conception on earth.
After death, the spirit continues to live and progress in the Spirit world until the resurrection,
when it is reunited with the body that once housed it. This reuniting of body and spirit results in a perfect soul
that is immortal and eternally young and healthy

Go and ask if another plane can land in the USA if Obama is landing. And this didn't start with GEJ. U don't have to find a way to link him to every imbroglio

TravelRe: British Airways Overshot Runway At Abuja International Airport by denitro(m): 8:39am On Jun 17, 2012
monkeyleg: FromDele Ogbodo in Abuja
Another air disaster was, in the early hours of Saturday , averted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja when a British Airways Boeing flight overshot the runway. This happened at a time Nigerians are still smarting from the painful memories of the Dana plane crash in Iju area of Lagos, which killed more than 153 people. THISDAY gathered that there was however no injury to passengers on board the BA flight, which was flying in from the UK.

An official of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), who spoke to on condition of anonymity, confirmed the incident. “It was another near mishap that was averted as the aircraft en route Abuja from UK landed the airport safely though,” he said.

According to him, it was in the course of taxing that the plane exceeded the runway limit because of ongoing construction work at the airport. He expressed delight that there was no damage to the aircraft and no passenger injured.

Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, the Special Assistant on Media and Public Relation, Mr. Joe Obi, said: “This happened very briefly, and it is as a result of ongoing rehabilitation and upgrade works currently ongoing at the airport which involve lighting upgrade on the landing runway.”

Guy be real....
The term "taxiing" is not used for the accelerating run along a runway prior to takeoff, or the decelerating run immediately after landing.

FLASHBACK...LOL
FEB 27, 2012

mukina2: Taiye Taiwo says the inability of the Super Eagles to qualify for the recently concluded Africa Nations Cup, where Zambia won the tournament has given confidence to Rwanda players, who think they can beat Nigeria, ‘what a pity.’

According to the Super Eagles left back, the players have resolved to make a statement that the Eagles are still a force to be reckoned with in African football, by defeating the Amavubi of in Kigali on Wednesday.

“Every team in Africa now wants to beat the Super Eagles because we did not qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations. We know that this has given Rwanda a big hope that they can beat Nigeria, well, it’s a pity! But we are going to deal with them in Kigali.” Taiwo said.

He added : “The best way to announce that Nigeria is back in African football is for us to beat Rwanda in Kigali. Rwandans are free to boast, it is allowed in football, but the field will judge and we are determined to win.”
