One thing I have noticed in Lagos International airport is that the average Nigerian is not security conscious. Scenario - I was at the Departure area of the International airport (Lagos), I sat down waiting for the check in period to start. A lady came over to an empty seat sat down and dropped her luggage in front of her. After a while she got up and went to check out something in the distance leaving her bag lying there. My 1st instinct was to get up and leave the scene cos I thought to myself - this could be a bomb so i left the scene. I looked around and saw people chatting without even noticing anything, We need to be conscious of our environment at all times, |
Why is cooking gas expensive in Nigeria, In Ghana it cost me Ghc 9 to fill my 15kg gas which is N900 - N1000. But the same thing in Nigeria cost N2700+ ![]() |
LagosShia:Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority" Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" |
Now all those critics can now take a back seat Majority of the people in Libya decided that they no longer wanted a Dictator and fought to remove him and succeeded and some people here say the president should not recognize the NTC becos "they claim they are killing Nigerians" and becos they are rebels, Libya is a WAR zone and in WAR zones rules change. You find yourself in a war zone you are in trouble, History has shown that Rebels fighting a true cause is the best way to liberate a country e.g As America fought the British to gain independence, George Washington etc were labeled as rebels French revolution - they were all called rebels. Gaddafi must have also been called a rebel just before overthrowing the King in Libya, So what criteria are people using in their quest to discredit GEJ for recognizing the rebels |
When will PLAN change to HAS This story would make a lot of sense if it read, Nigeria HAS sold70% of power distribution firms -BPE NIGERIA HAS sold 70 per cent stake in 11 power distribution companies to new investors, as part of the multi-billion dollar privatisation of its electricity sector, the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) said on Tuesday. MORAL: Even a fool can make plans. |
There is something FISHY about this story. The lady is hiding something. I am not supporting Odiah but after reading the story, a lot of things don't add up. I will make my conclusions after hearing Odiah's side of the story. |
Great thread, Best so far |

Yakubu is useless in my book. Let us wait till middle of the season |
The day "TO DEVELOP" changes to "HAS DEVELOPED", Then Nigeria will have a good and visionary leader Until then, |
Kobojunkie:Sorry I mean the website Okonjo-iweala said they have posted what states and local governments receive monthly, Why I’m Under Attack – Okonjo-iweala We will load it on the website so that Nigerians can see what their states and local governments receive monthly. That is transparency in action”, she said. VANGUARD NEWSPAPER

|

it is well:But why are Nigerians still there in the 1st place? |
The team I saw play against Argentina was no different from Amodu's Super Eagles. Why should he field MIKEL as a playmaker - it doesn't make sense. Mikel is not attack oriented and to have a 10 that just gives square passes is asking for trouble. MY PROBLEM WITH AMODU WAS THE FACT THAT HE STUPIDLY PLAYED MIKEL AS A PLAYMAKER NOW SIASIA IS DOING THE SAME THING. I love Siasia but he should please stop doing that. |
You are calling RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES - ACHIEVEMENTS This is so funny Those are his Duties and Responsibilities as a Governor and not his |
We are still at 4000 MW when some countries are producing 63,366 MW countries Power Produced (MW) https://i.imgur.com/1tL5p.jpg |
countries Power Produced (MW) https://i.imgur.com/1tL5p.jpg |
Good news - but 5000Mw would have been better Because we know that in few years to come 1 or 2 of the stations will be faulty or repair parts will be subtitled in chinese, So 5 power plants if 2 go bad, we are still left with 3 = 3000Mw ![]() |

Try that in the US and the entire box will disappear. Try watching " Video Justice on DSTV" to for confirmation of that. |

honeric01:PAST NEWS: Libya: Gaddafi Stalls Evacuation of Nigerians 26 Feb 2011 Nigerians stranded in crisis-ridden Libya may have to wait a little longer before being evacuated as Libyan authorities have refused to grant landing permit to the aircraft and personnel designated to bring them home. President Goodluck Jonathan had on Wednesday ordered the immediate evacuation of Nigerians stranded in the troubled country. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/libya-gaddafi-stalls-evacuation-of-nigerians/86856/ African Commission urges Gaddafi not to kill Nigerian convicts September 20th, 2009 The African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights has called on Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi (photo) to “suspend the carrying out of the death penalty” in the cases of around 20 Nigerian nationals sentenced to death in Libya. a total of 200 Nigerians have been sentenced to death in Libya and 40 of them have been executed. Dabiri-Erewa complained that the Nigerian government did not do enough to help them. |
Ohibenemma:Thank you for this comment, It beats me to hear the comments of some Nigerians in relation to GEJ and Libya. |
honeric01:When will half brained individuals speak with some sense. MEND, OPC, BOKO HARAM are terrorist, they specialize in raining terror on innocent people, their focus and reason for fighting is meaningless and senseless. Why hasn't the west accepted Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Yemen etc? Why did everyone accept the revolution in Tunisia, Egypt etc and have singled out Libya as the one they will not accept. NIGERIANS HAVE NO RIGHT BEING IN LIBYA AT THE MOMENT AND FOR THOSE NIGERIANS TO SAY THAT THEY REJECTED THE FG RESCUE PLAN - THEY MUST HAVE BEEN SMOKING SOMETHING. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, DURING GADDAFI'S ERA - NIGERIANS AND GHANAIANS WERE EXECUTED DAILY BY GADDAFI FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES. SO PLS DO YOUR RESEARCH WELL |
It will work. We should all stop being negative. Nuclear plants are all plants carefully. Because disasters have happened in the past, is a good reason why it shouldn't happen again (e.g With every plane crash, the sky becomes more and more safer). Nuclear scientists are no fools. South Africa has a nuclear power plant built in the 70's it still stands. NIGERIA WILL MOVE FORWARD, NIGERIA SHOULD MOVE FORWARD WE CAN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. |
Finished Madagascar 0 - 2 Nigeria |
Some Nigerians are so silly and stubborn, All other Nationals and a lot of Nigerians left the country while the conflict started. What did the Nigerians expect? Libya is a war zone. If you choose to remain in Libya, u are at the mercy of everything around you. Look around you before you judge the Libyan rebels, Nigerians in Nigeria are doing worst. When the militants were kidnapping Foreigners, did that stop those foreign countries from supporting us. GEJ support for the rebel was a smart move and for the 1st thing I am proud of our president's decision. GADDAFI is no longer in charge of Libya and has no right to rule when majority of his people don't want him. |
Those Nigerians who chose to remain in Libya when sensible people had left when the violence started, What were they expecting? Some people can be so stupid |
Abian have to suffer for the next 4 years, This should serve as a lesson - they cannot say that soldiers prevented them from voting. Why didn't soldiers prevent Imo indigenes from voting, Rubbish talk |
