i do not put my laptop on d bed, i put it on a low table/stool when i lie on me tummy or i put it on my stomach if i lie on my back

i'm d only 1 that uses my laptop but i recently took it to where i bought it, to fix it cos it kept saying that my copy of windows xp is not genuine or i shud validate it. my laptop came wit vista or windows 7 but i told dem to put xp wen i bought it

1~~ when i start my laptop/put it on, my acer laptop kips scanning disk D 1st b4 starting properly, it also says sometin about NTFL,

2~~ it sometimes restart by itself when am in d middle of something, it says there was an error or so and then when it comes on, there's a message that says
your computer have just recovered from an error

3~~ when i try to bring out task manager, it says that task manager has been disabled by administrator

If you use your laptop in bed and the heat emission holes are blocked the laptop can switch off intermittently and then do disk check like you mentioned.

Are you the only person using the laptop? If not,the other person might be the administrator.

Siena is looking at this issue like a typical oyinbo(No offence).They dont see anything wrong in it,as far as they are concerned,the Dad is working and closer to his son.

But in Nigeria,it is fundamentally wrong. The dad would still his son as a son not a boss, you'd realise that he'd still want to correct his son and make decisions. The arrangement could end in a rift which might not be resolved till death do them part.
