OH. Really? What is your own profession?

The only people who have since been concerned about the who that heads the health institutions have been the 'other health professionals' who think they deserve to lead like the doctors do.

I hear the latest strike at OAUTH is for this reason. Smh for Nigeria!!

I wont be surprised if you are one of them.

The issue is simple actually, professional management courses to be taken by doctors who want to be CMDshuh

That was a question i asked not comment. A yes or no answer with logical reasons would've been a more civilized answer without you calling me names.

Is this the muslim civility you're boasting of? undecided
Hmmn. And I am supposed to not know sarcasm when I read one because I was born yesterday?

Ehya when did u stop being a bigot? That is telling d truth and not name calling undecided

honeric01: hehehe robots can't service na. Maybe you can become a'military nurse', that makes more 'sense'
No. That would be degrading. Have you met any woman who's doing well, working as professionals of repute?

If you don't know any or haven't met one, it may be hard for you to picture a woman doing well in any field. Your case is understandable but continually speaking this way is unforgivable. angry

What other comment is expected from a Christian bigot like you??

Are d other militants Muslims. Oh. Christianity must have naturally radicalised them.
Health › Re: Professional Equity In Health Sector by deols(f): 3:39pm On Mar 28, 2013
yemiteantho: within the health sectors are lots of health workers and professionals; physicians, medical laboratory scientists, pharmacists, nurses, radiologists, physiotherapists, health record officers just to mention few common ones. The role of all these professionals are clearly stated, and the health sector can not do without any of them. So why would a professional body be parading them selves as the best and leader every time. Its like a human body, the eyes is not superior to the nose, nor mouth nor ears nor hand superior to the leg, the reason being that each of them has their function and the body cannot be at optimal function in the absence of any. Hence the question, who made doctors the leader and the best? And what is the solution to this unfortunate problem in the health sector in Nigeria? Doctors vs other health professionals.
You are starting something that is very unnecessary. I assume everyone taking a job knows its demands.

The demands for a doctor is to be armed enough to take the final decision on patient care. The WHO already makes them the head of any medical team.

It is like the secretary asking to be the boss.

So, if you aren't satisfied with your position(as a nurse, pharmacist or whatever), simply get an MBBS or a MD.

I am ashamed at all of these coming out of Nigeria. The professionals are supposed to be proud of their profession and diligently work at it rather than this continuous show of dissatisfaction with their profession and what position it inherently puts them.

The effect of this is going to be a total lack of self esteem in d younger people in these professions. They will lack the dignity to look at the said superiors because their own role models are already putting it in their mind that their inability to become CMDs make them less respected, make their profession less worthy, etc.

The worst to happen to our health sector would be when nurses become CMDs. Olohun ma je! Tufiakwa..

I hope the ministry of health is not going to make that blunder

honeric01: There are no roles for gossipers in the Army o, i hope you know this?

Can you catch grenades?
Can you run 10,000 meters?
can you hold an AK 47?
Can you stand blood?
Can you stay without water for days?
Can you drink your urine?
Can you stay off sexx for a while?
And can you "service" your male colleagues and sometimes female colleagues in cold environment to keep them warm?

The "can you" is very long.

So once more, the Army is not a place for gossipers.

Pun intended o grin cool
First, gossips and not gossiperswinkHow did you conclude that I am one. Is it because I am female?..well, na u sabi.

The short service is for professionals innit?

I'd be serving d military in my capacity as a professional personnel.

And all of the things u wrote above, I can already do half of them undecided

I can get trained for the restgrin except for the servicing of colleagues part..robots can do that grin

orelove4liff: asari dokubo converted to islam in order to be admitted to d terrorist trainin camp in libya.i didnt say islam is abt terrorism and no one is talkin abt tribe here.infact i'm also 4rm south south(delta state) and most of my closest friends are peace lovin muslims
Let me start from the necessary. I added d tribe because if ever u ask him what he is fighting for he would mention the ijaw people. Everything to him is about Ijaw people versus Nigeria. I can only hope that in case he hasnt seen the above hadith before, he can at least see it now(if he comes on NL undecided)

Now about his need to become a Muslim, what is your proof?

Is he d only militant in d Niger delta? Are they all Muslims, if at all anyone apart from him is one.

I know as a fact, that this man had become a Muslim long before he started to fight for the people of his tribe. If you disagree wv me, then prove me wrong.

Good to see this.
At this rate, Ajimobi may just break d jinx of no second term in OYo state.

I was in Ibadan early 2012 and d work being done was everywhere. The new bodija area, total garden, etc were being worked on. In fact, the criticism then was that he was doing 'too much' at the same time because of the inconvenience posed by 'all roads being under construction'.

Hopefully, he's looking into education and other sectors as well.

BetaThings: The part about Angel and Salat has to do with the authentic hadeeth in Bukhari

“Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Say Amin" when the Imam says it and if the Amin of any one of you coincides with that of the angels then all his past sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab said, "Allah's Apostle used to Say "Amin."".

The hadeeth about angels does not explicit mention blessing
Narrated Salim's father:
Once Gabriel promised the Prophet (that he would visit him, but Gabriel did not come) and later on he said, "We, angels, do not enter a house which contains a picture or a dog."

However there is a translation in Bukhari that has "angels (of mercy)" ie "of mercy" being in bracket. However people are concerned about angels of mercy really. If the hair of a woman can scare away angels of wrath or punishment, clearly it would be the easiest way to avoid having bad deeds from being recorded
So, in conclusion, are angels.of mercy the only ones or all angels?

orelove4liff: mujaid asari dokubo was a xtain but he converted to islam we he was going to train in libya for terrorism in niger delta and dat was after dropin out of uniport and rivers state university as a law student.anyway,he is nw a muslim
Dokubo Asari isn't a Muslim because he is a militant nor is he a Militant becaus3 he is a Muslim. He became a Muslim long b4 his militancy days.

I in fact hope that someday, he'd realise that his militancy has nothing to do with Islam and turn a new leaf.

Here is what the prophet(S.A.W) says-

Jubair ibn Mut’im reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He is not one of us who calls to tribalism; he is not one of us who fights for the sake of tribalism; he is not one of us who dies following the way of tribalism.”Source: Sunan Abu Dawud 5102

Romance › Re: Ladies' Guide On How NOT To Court!! by deols(f): 6:21am On Mar 28, 2013
Well, I think it isnt supposed to be a game-not a mind game.

So why not express yourself. Why make it seem like you are not whom you are or not feeling what you are feeling.

Nothing wrong with making the first move either. If u are bold enough to want to make it/make it and he can not deal with it, he most probably isn't your ilk.

You wont be able to keep acting/presenting yourself as some books say or as some 'experienced people' deem fit. When u eventually get pass the courting stage, your expressive nature would show itself and you would appear as a scheming pretender.

The golden rule is- Be yourself. There is a man for every type of Woman. Yours will find you and you may find him.smiley

I dont know of anything that says angels are important for the acceptance of salaat. If u have d proof, then provide it please.

About pictures, not just angels but angels that confer blessings. If angels cant be around pictures, what happens to d ones on our right and left. Do they leave because of the pictures? No.

Generally, angels are not affected by the feminine hair..whatever brought that about?

kemiola89: what do you mean "people we can trust"?
If i may ask, what are the criterium for chosing members of committee? I might not be a regular poster but i do wish i could in one way or the other contribute to this development. As a quiet observer are we eligible to nominate candidate (that's if the committee would be base on nomination)?
I said that because money matter na serious matter o. And I didnt say they are d people we trust but 'can' trust considering that some people know each other beyond here. It is just my opinion.

This is still a thread that involves everyone, and if u are on this thread right now, u obviously saw a need to check on to this section and not by opportunity open the thread because it made homepage. I am talking of people who genuinely are interested in happenings on here and not segregating by the no of posts nor popularity.

In essence, you fall into d category I was talking about.
