The spreaading of the grains and how it is not by chance remindse of that verse,
..not a leaf falls but he knows it..

And then the bringing back to life when it has been dead is one of the verses that keep my faith.
Islam › Re: Hurricane Sandy: Reflecting On The Winds by deols(f):
MashaAllah. I'm particularly moved by your statement concerning the arabs and how they wondered if yhose things could come to pass and still they believed.

We didnt meet the prophet, did not see the things they saw but we can see the hurricanes or at least hear about them and we believe.

No wonder believing alone is such a strong thing that it can be enough, well,to some extent.

Can we have the title changed and then start a step by step approach to how the timing is got.

We can inculcate all the suggestions on this thread.

We all learn.

DailyNews: Strange ppl do strange things at times...dnt be surprised of the personalities behind certain handles cos I know some...& they may likely not grant an interviewsmiley
It isnt just about the handle. He drails threads by boasting of his fortunes.
you can imagine someone claiming to own all d smart phones available but using them only as fashion accessories

Tbaba 1234 too.

If I cld chip in a specific question, that would be for billionaire. I have just always wondered if his billions were in his dreams or for real. The real billionaires seem too busy for a second by second Nl presence.

What if the neighbour spoke out of envy.

It is very bad that supposedly educated youths on NL think this is justified. Nigeria has a long way to go.

Law prince: Haba! I cry for dude's very poor sense of judgement.
Issues are now reacted upon based on sentiments without being objevtive.
The fundermental questions that aught to be asked are not asked.
1. What has Sudan done to the Zionist that warrants such an attack?
2. Shouldn't Isreal's action amount to a war crime according to the International Law?
3. Isn't that a breach of Soverignty and Human Right?
4. Are we insinuating that Israel and other Zionist allies have a superior right to opress, maltreat, and terrorise other countries at their will?

We really need to wake up and dust our brains from the tales of the brainwashy medias, and untruthful sentimental affiliates. Or else the 21st Century Colonial Masters are far more worse.
If these statements wouldnt liberate any of these mental slaves, what would?
Am out.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Bombs Sudanese Rockets Factory by deols(f): 8:25am On Oct 29, 2012
nex: It is very shameful that after such a dastardly act carried out unilaterally by the Israeli government against an African country, Africans can come online and be singing praises against such an enemy nation. Some people have become so shortsighted by their religious inclinations, they seem even excited by this unprovoked attack.

The African Union is doing nothing because each is satisfied that it wasn't their country attacked. Tomorrow, when Iran will take it upon itself to attack Southern Nigeria, I wonder if we'd be so happy and thrilled. They are using us as a testing ground to train for their war which may never come, and our people are happy.

I wish you well Africa, I really wish you well.
Very reasonable post. It tells of a reasoning capacity many here can only dream of. Isreal gave the attack and Sudan gets the blame..
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Bombs Sudanese Rockets Factory by deols(f): 8:20am On Oct 29, 2012
codeline: yep a very huge difference, i can't put up links and points now because i'm online via a low grade mobile. God did not say we should kill those that do not accept Christ. He didn't say we should cutoff peoples hand when they steal. He didn't say we should pray facing that black box in saudi. More than this but can't say more.
Dumb thing you wrote up there. You see every opportunity as one to preach christianity. We are not in a bus here. So carry your noise elsewhere
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Bombs Sudanese Rockets Factory by deols(f): 8:16am On Oct 29, 2012
Asiwaju9ja: Israel Is a country that knows what it is doing. This is a very good strike both for the Israelis and the general good of the sub-region. A people that can hardly feed themselves having an assorted weapons factory. What they need is food factory. Israel has been bombarded by rocket fires recently and they did the smart thing. They identified the source of the Rockets and dislodged it.

When those firing the rockets expends the ones they already have. The Supply chain for rearmament has been cut off. They will then enjoy relative peace until the elements of evil decides to arm Palestine again.

Israel a Tiny nation surrounded by hostile Arab countries yet it fights them to submission each time. How does it keep it that way? Military actions such as these.
What makes you think Nigeria can feed her People better than Sudan ca.. You all gloat over nothing and so ignorantly smh
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Bombs Sudanese Rockets Factory by deols(f): 8:11am On Oct 29, 2012
Who did the bombing and who is being castigated here? Dumb hypocrites on the 1st page.
I keep saying it that many of you on this NL would continue 2 b mental slaves to the west till eternity.
The joke is on you all.

Was someone seriously asking what Sudan benefits from this? When the recent economic bailout they had was from Iran as US has been on a diplomatic row with them, trying all they can to crumble Sudan's economy.

Isreal wants Sudan's fall by all means and that goes beyond oil. You may want to google the Gezira farming scheme and how if well managed can feed the world. Isreal is also allegedly interested in d river Nile.

Good to know Sudan still has a fighting spirit. To die brave once other than a million times cowardly.
Islam › Re: Goat With 'Allah' On His Coat Goes On Sale by deols(f): 7:07pm On Oct 28, 2012
There are no bigger mumus than many of those here who comment just to spite Muslims. In the end, you are doing exactly what was expected of you.

Dont you ever give it a thought that any story by any random, most of the time, uneducated and irrelevant and could-be psychotic Muslim makes front page all over the world?

You hear exactly what they want you to and almost all of the time you cannot reason critically.

In d end you alone are responsible for what you believe and if your reaction is the type that sinks you, your problem still.

@Op that picture has no relevance whatsoever in my opinion.
Islam › Re: Proposal To The Moderator Of This Section by deols(f): 4:19pm On Oct 28, 2012
I think d reason for d problems we have now is that some people fixed it in the past and that is why I dont agree wv d fixing.

How about pple learning how d timing is arrived at as taught by d prophet rather than looking for an easy way out. What happens when u find urself away from civilisation. How may u deduce d timing and also know the direction of d qiblah.say,u'r lost in a forest or a dessert wvout yiur phone grin

At a mosque close to my house in Nija, subh is fixd and observd at 6a.m zuhr at 2 asr at 4 magrb 7 and ishai 8. D problm wv ds is so many ppl fastn wait for d mosques to make d call 2 prayer b4 stopping their eating and b4 breaking. Now imagine what dat can cause

Maghrib is not to be delayed and if earlier than 7,a whole congregation is..

Hausas are known to pray earlier than Yorubas.probably following the rules of praying at d earlier time. But I was perturbed when I heard a mosque calln to prayer at past 3 when asr was at minutes padt 4.

In conclusion, D op's idea is a good one.
I wld encourage that ppl get d softwares
And that they also learn how d timings can be known wvout them calculators.
I disagree wv d fixing of d time
I encourage that pple pray earlier than later.

Islam › Re: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by deols(op): 12:59pm On Oct 27, 2012
snubish: this statement was meant to highlight the loss of moral values in society generally, and Nigeria specifically.
the blame is on the unscrupulous males promising the gifts, and then the gullible, corrupt females who fall for these promises.
this has nothing to do with love or marriage immediately.

Gold digging by Nigerian women is another topic entirely. Nigerians, men and women are not inherently corrupt, or greedy. In most cases they are victims of the whole political arrangement viz a viz economic realities of this country. a single recurrent theme within the psychology of both sexes is financial insecurity. but that is a topic for another day.

I should state that I have a deep respect for Nigerian women(or men) who conduct themselves respectably regardless of religious or familial affiliations. And vice versa.
This is a good one. I would appreciate that everyone spells it out this way. You know what it is like when every Nigerian Muslim is tagged boko haram because a few are. That is exactly what it is like when every Nigerian female is tagged a gold digging bimbo.

Seriously? I cant believe this is still going on. Obviously one or two people want to be the winner of the argument?

Oh and again, what is it about reputation and the continuous demand for apology? Do these names go beyond NL? or they have some values that I dont know about?

Yh! I agree LagosShia could have been wrong with the initial name calling but it is also true that he has apologised more than once.

So what else should happen?
Mod shld just let the pride go and if anything could be done about d thread, just do it and if nothing cld be done let evry1 know about it and get this done wv.

Once again,I thnk LagosShia needs to tone it down.

Well,if a whole thread is deleted as alleged by LagosShia,it calls for questoning and the anger understandable.

Name calling is however not the way 2 go about it. Done. We can now move on as We are all humans and can make mistakes. Bickering back and forth wont solve the issue. I advise it is directed at Seun or sis Muki.
