Christianity Etc › Re: Does The Bible Preach Racism? by deols(op): 8:20am On Nov 19, 2012
advocate666: There is racism in ALL monotheistic religious books. The islamic racism against blacks is even worse. When I see a black muslim, I smh.
Do you mind staying on topic?

The question is about the bible. Not even christians or what christians do but about what the bible says.
Christianity Etc › Does The Bible Preach Racism? by deols(op): 8:14am On Nov 19, 2012
There seems to be certain verses of the bible that put an entire race under castigation and another over edge.

I have seen some people pray for Isreal on this forum, quoting bible verses despite their several crimes against humanity and I have seen others say unthinkable things about arabs with quotations from the bible.

Is racism in the bible or are these people being mischievous?

Why do Christians see the victory of Isreal as theirs?

omenziate: I don't think I have seen dis much sanctimonious Nigerian Muslims condemning isreal . How come I didn't see dis tiradE condemning Bashr Al-asad (a muslim) dat has killed about 30000 of his pple (children inclusive)or Boko haram in allah's name dat has killed countless numbers of children, professors , artisans in churches. Why is the Gaza case different? One thing I know about Islamic terrorism is u fight it with equal and overwhelming force, no time for pleas or bargains. The sooner Nigerian christians understand this , the better for us. I think I like Jew method.
Have u been spending all ur life on NL to av bn sure of that?
Hypocrite

Some pathetic fools on here may never understand what it is to have a land, one you love and truly want to keep.
They also may never know what it means to keep on brave in d face of so many adversity because with them being cowardly as an easy way out os sweet.

I feel for the brave, the courageous people of palestine. They are the victims no matter what some silly people want to push down our throats and victory shall be theirs InshaAllah.

Foreign Affairs › Re: 8 - Questions About The New Israel - Hamas War by deols(f): 1:53pm On Nov 18, 2012
The write up is very bias.

What I dont understand is why Nigerian christians are salivating over the gaza occupation. Isrealis are not even christians and there are christians in palestine.

All I know is I am saddened when little children are burried, lose their legs, become blind over issues they have no knowledge of.

snubish: wAllahi, this questions are so funny, and practical too. if a woman should ask me such a question, i am sure to blush through my dark skin.
My point actually is, an impotent man isnt expected to be seeking anyone's hand in marriage.

Seeking it in d first place means he wants to get married anyway and wld lie once d question is asked.

I dont c myself asking such.

fellis: You have?

That is interesting.

Was the wearer using it in a public/general pool or a pool for only women?
sorry if I gave the impression that I saw someone swimming in them. no, I didnt.

I saw them in a shop and I saw some ads.

The ones I saw were not as long as this,up to the knees and tighter. I just had the impression that they were to be used in swimming pools for women in which case, they may have been covering up due to the presence of other women who may not be Muslims.

In Muslim nations, pools are separated or the males and females given different timings. I wish that could be done in Nigeria. All the pools I have seen there are mixed.

Islam › Re: Telling It Through Pictures by deols(op): 6:49pm On Nov 16, 2012
tbaba1234: Ibn ‘Abbaas narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said:

"I have not been commanded to build lofty mosques."

Ibn ‘Abbaas said: "You are going to`adorn (mosques) as the Jews and Christians adorn (their places of worship)."

[Aboo Daawood #448, saheeh]

All these huge beautiful mosques are fine but there are no hearts in them... The first generations within a century expanded over most of the known world but the prophet's mosque was still leaking even when they had acquired so much land and territory....

Now Muslims fantasize over beautiful mosques but forget the most important thing: the Dawah... It is fine to have a large mosque to accomodate people but we have no hearts in our mosques. No one gives dawah anymore.

How did the prophet describe this generation?

The Muhammad (peace be upon him): "Soon the nations will gather to take from you the same way you invite others to share from a feast!" A person asked the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Is that because we are small in our numbers?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) answered: "No! You will be many, like the foam on the sea, but you will be rubbish, like the rubbish carried down by the flood water. And certainly Allah will remove from the breasts of your enemies the fear of you and into your breasts He will cast enervation." A person asked: "What is enervation?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: "It is love of life and fear of death." (Abu Dawud)

How true is this statement? They gather armies and make security council decisions to invade muslim countries because the muslims can do nothing for themselves despite the fact that they make up a quarter of the world population

Also about huge beautiful mosques, More Hadiths where the prophet predicted this decadence

"Narrated Anas bin Malik: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "The Hour will not begin until people show off about the masjid." [Sunan Ibn Majah, No. 739].

"Narrated Umar bin Khattab: The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "No people's deeds ever became evil deeds but they started to adorn their places of worship." [Sunan Ibn Majah, No. 741]
For example I av a dream of building a beautiful mosque. You are saying to rather build a less beautiful one with piety and spend d money on other beneficial things like propagating Islam.

But what I call a little money would still depend on my pocket dont u think?

fellis: It looks a bit uncomfortable.
Why don't they just make separate swimming sections for men and women instead?
I av seen it severally. Even among women dr's a level to which u can be xposed.

And among nonMuslim women many say to cover d whole of ur body. Dat is d reason for this wear, I guess.
Islam › Re: What Men Wear by deols(op): 6:11pm On Nov 16, 2012
Interesting Conversation.

Ehn and dat color riot thing. U wldnt know wat it did to me.
I simply stopped getting concerned about certain fashion rules. Why follow them when in some yrs to come what they term a taboo now would be in vogue.

Imagine someone wearing that some 10-15yrs ago. Pple would av laffed at him and when you wear it now,u'r cool. It sounds to me like a matter of being enslaved by the you-know-whos of d society. Some will get away wv anything, calling them fashion statements and you cannot because u'r a 'nobody'.

And I decide to be able to get away with them since I wldnt care about what the 'society' has to say especially when those things dont contradict my religious belief.

[quote author=victory101•]I think you're the one that's brainwashed or just being dishonest. You obviously know the mutilation of ones hand is barbaric that's why you're twisting. Quran made it clear that Punishment of stealing is decapitation of hand whether done out of greed or petty stealing. Muhammad even meted out the punishment himself. Or was their no social justice in his days? It's nice to see you disagree with your Allah/Muhammad/Quran.[/quote]I have been learning Islam all my life and in a better position to talk of what Islam says. You can believe me or not. To twist things is unbeneficial to me.

The rule is to cut the hand of a thief just like a 100 lashes is for a fornicator and stoning to death is for the adulterer. All of these are subject to (1) the provision of four witnesses in the case of the adultery abd fornication. Such witnesses must actually have seen the act performed(i.e the actual penetration). That is hard to comeby..no one knowing d punishment would continue as one,two or four people enter and catch them in the act. (2) confession by the subject.
Both of these are hard to comeby.

A thief who gies to steal because he is hungry is not to be punished by cutting his hand. The one who robs a bank of millions should and that punishment would deter him from doing it again.

The wisdom behind it is to keep the society free of immorality. No one benefits from seeing others punished

Now,I challenge you to present how the prophet meted out that punishment you wrote about and the event surrounding it.
