People at home should say -Subhanallah walhamdulillah walaillaha illAllah Allahu akbar wala haola wala kuwwata illabillahi l aliyyul azim..( Glory be to Allah,all praise is to Allah,there is no god but Allah,Allah is great, all power and might belong to Allah,the most high-the great)

There is a part of d write-up which I wld like to address. It is d part where you mentioned d killing of rams as commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim's sacrifice.

In recent times I have heard that there is no scriptural evidence relating both. If you would provide d proof,I will so much appreciate it.

So,because this lynching happened long ago, it should be dismissed and the man in the video shouldn't get justice?

Many of the people here would not even condemn the Aluu4 kilings until everyone started doing so. Until it became the thing to do, the thing of the moment.

It is highly ridiculous that the same students who watched the Aluu4 murdered were the same who went to raze down Aluu because some people on nairaland said it was the thing to do.


It is very shameful that no one thought of aluu as a christian community, nor made mention of Rivers as being made of more Christians than of other faiths but when the Chiefs would be mentioned as an Alhaji, many hands here pointed towards Islam and Muslims.


Frankly, the inhumanity seems inherent in Nigerians and until they find something to gain from a matter(like a quick way to preach their own religion by castigating others') or to make news paper sales or to be seen as heroes(uniport students), Nigerians would just move on, like it was never their problem, nothing of concern to them.

But someday, the effects of these behavior might not be another Aluu killings but something with the same or worse effects.

Until Nigerians do away with all sentiments when matters like these arise, we might just be wasting our time, energy, bandwith, money.

The boko boys may be having a hand in it really. I heard eggs became cheap in the south when people wouldnt transport it to the North anymore for the fear of boko bombs.

sino: its quite easy for one who has one or all the qualities listed by the OP to fall into pride, these qualities could be found in all the most despicable people narrated in the Qur'an and hadiths of the Prophets(SAW), people like Pharaoh,namrood,abu jahl, qaroon and shaitan(la).

A conscious muslim strives not to follow the path of pride, so will always need the reminder...

annoymous: Dis is almost unbelievable. You go to such lengths to prove what? I scrolled back to the original post to see if anything in it could be said to be Bid'ah and I find no such thing. Its just an innocent admonition to us to make the Qur'an more relevant in our lives. If you have a problem with it, ignore the post. It doesn't compel us to do anything? It doesn't compel us to read any particular # of pages. It doesn't say if you don't do any of the things it suggests, you are wrong or hell bound.
