I wish i could actually explain properly for everybody to understand what this guy stands for in islam but only a few would understand. If you are a muslim or if you are willing to really know about who Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki forget about every other thing you have heard for a second because even his facebook page was just recently created by God knows who and it contains all sorts of Jargons. What i would advise his that you download some of his lectures and listen to them putting your other assumptions aside and i bet  you would agree we have lost a scholar.

Marriage is important in Islam. It is regarded as half of faith. to be married (i.e to have one wife) is the golden rule.

then,

a man for whatever reason can decide to have more wives but he is not allowed to av more than four. note that Man is polygamous by nature (in fact, many pple say that on ds forum.). All Islam did is give it a limit. meaning, if u must do it, a maximum of four and no more.

but that has its conditions(these shld keep anyone away ooo, but definitely not my nija brodas. .lol) which are-

_u must av wat it takes(as a man)- hope i dont av to explain dat further

_u must be financially capable of taking care of them and the children thereof.

_U must share your time, money and everything sharable equally among them.


the conditions one after the other

avn wat it takes as a man- ds is to ensure dat u satisfy them so dey dont end up committing Zina(adultery). In fact, your mind wont b at rest if u cant do dat.

financial capability- imagine putting four wives nd deir children in one flat. that wld be too bad. In fact, (not sure if its a quran verse) says dat u shld separate boys room from girls room. nd dfinitely u shldnt be puttn many children together in a place. (If one of them gets, say meningitis, hospital bills no go b small thing oo). So, by d time d finance is thought of, many nija men shld be changn their mind , but they wldnt, subjecting wives nd children to abject poverty *smh*


time, money et al- these u must share equally among them. U must keep every detail of such cos dey may stand against u on d day of jugement.

thank God I am no fan of the great musician(wonder what dat means) nor am I of d Afa ( dat sounds weird too) but I do know that a 16 yr old is a mature girl. At that age, I knew what I wanted of my life. But, wat i understand from it is, people fom OYo, lagos and Osun had a lower cut off mark for OAU than pple from other states whereas every Nigerian had a equal chance in UI. some other schls in d north were in the same category as UI, probably Usman dan fodio of sokoto. this same principle applied for the pre degree course at OAU.

So if dat is wat happened, den I see no biggie. Seems a national thing. but if it is on a religious divide, then it is unfair especially on the Northern christians.

As a christian and pastor, I think if you preach on this thread or forum, the gospel of love , tolerance, honesty and charity(by the way, what charities are you involved with?), all of us ,irrespective of our labels or isms,could find common ground to share our ideals, experiences and goals. Should that not be the christian ideal?
Or, is your obsession with athiesm rooted in the fear that athiesm is bad for the church business?
Since you are quite a reasonable fellow, I , for one, would  love to know whether your fixation with athiesm is just an academic exercise, or is rooted in some kind of personal fear.

I was in the boarding house in the north(Sokoto)!

My school had 3chapels(protestants and Catholics segregated) and just one mosque!

And it was peaceful all through my six year stay.

dont mind dem oo. Na so dey lie against northerners all d time. A girl told me of the federal science college in Sokoto where they have pple from all over the country. I never heard of discrimination in that school.
