now is it huh huh i dont remember u asking me this question before. undecided

after death, our materialistic body becomes one with nature, i.e. it disintegrates into the element. (carbon, etc.)

our soul on the other hand is reincarnated and assumes a new body, just as energy cannot be created or destroyed, it is conserved. ( one of the laws of nature).
the same way, our soul can be viewed as a parallel.
how did you know dat huh
Politics › Re: Boko Haram To N'Delta Militants: Bastards Let’s Roll Some Heads by deols(f): 12:33pm On Oct 17, 2011
When the said N'delta group made their threat, I was embarassed by many of the comments on this forum. Boko haram is doing something BAd-fact

But, two wrongs can never make a right. It only makes the situation worse. Am sure many of those campaigning here for the face-off would be the first to run for cover if it happens.

We should all pray for peace rather than looking out for vengeance

and let the government protect us from every form of violence.

@ op,

Apart from certain biological roles, there is no much difference between what a man and a woman can do in Islam. A man can propose to a woman and so can a woman to a man cool

It is not a 21st century thing nor brought about by western civilisation. It is something that has been allowed in Islam since 1400 centuries ago

^^you're really too sensitive.

that does not bode well.
really? i almost took it as a compliment tongue

it was a simple question- either you answer or you dont.

end of.

the fact that you cannot relate to the situation, doesnt mean others shouldnt.
well, I didnt stop them from doing that. It is like a many dimensional scenario. I looked into d dimension i wanted to.

sweetnecta has given a reply, so let the matter end there if it doesnt concern you.
i'll take d bolded to mean a plea cheesy cheesy

Islam › Re: Baby Naming In Islam And The Modern Society. by deols(f): 12:09am On Oct 16, 2011
mybad:
@deols: True talk.
But these days the Ummah have resorted to names like Aliyah, Aleesha, Nabila etc.
These names sound Arabic but in truth can hardly be traced to the companions of the Prophet SAW.
Theres a lot of controversy surrounding child naming and just settling for a pretty name isn't all there is to it.
Some names have taken center stage now and can only be traced to some tribes in Arabia or it's environs but not to the Glorious Quran.
Correct me if I'm wrong, it is UN-Islamic to give a 'Muslim child' a name outside the Quran and outside, one that cannot be traced back to the matyrs of Islam and outside companions of the Holy Prophet and their relations.
it is advisable to give Islamic names but not compulsory to do so. U should also differentiate between Islamic and Arabic. Names like Umar av bn in existence before Islam. But, because the prophet encouraged us to name after his companions,or people of good virtue, we can give such names.

It is ok to give ur children Yoruba names or names according to your language provided they have good meanings. It should be noted that the prophet asked some companions to change their names due to their meanings. We go more for the arabic ones more because of the identity they confer. They are encouraged but are not compulsory.

And as Olawalebab said, many Muslims dont know the meanings of some names. Once they sound arabic, and they think them as sounding beautiful, they give it to their childre. embarassed embarassed

Islam › Re: Can Muslims Be This Kind To Christians? by deols(f): 11:42pm On Oct 15, 2011
the aim of the write-up is different from the aim of the poster. Nevertheless, the answer to her question is yes. The prophet gave the jews of madinnah the freedom to practice their religion under his rule- until they became rebellious. And Umar (r.a) gave a ruling in favor of a jew and against a Muslim whom he had dealings with.

At post, Najash became a Muslim because he knew the bible. He believed in the message of the prophet cos it reiterated the message of the previous prophets. If only christians of today would learn that.

Sweetnecta:
but the king, Al Nagashi became a muslim. he mounted a journey to see the messenger [as] in Makka. it was in the excursion that he lost him life on the way.

immediately he expired, it was shown to the messenger who called for a janazah prayer [salatul ghaib; prayer made when the body is not seen or not in front of you and no one organized prayer on the body where it is seen]. this act by the messenger is another proof there is revelation coming to him.

incidentally, the wife of the king similar to the wife of lot [as] was a hypocrite of what her husband ws about. just like madame lot, instead of turning to pillar of salt, she was consumed by fire that descended on her, alone in the prty.

the ethiopian christians have a yearly ceremony for her 'heroic' end. can you imagine that?
Incidentally, i learnt this at ile keu this friday. The knowledge of Islam is truly vast and we learn from cradle to grave mashaAllah. smiley

horny4u:
Lol !!!!

He sure will be tad undecided in everything important that will move their life forward or otherwise.

If after 5 years he was undecided about marrying her i fear:

She may have to continually give him a push for every important decision.

She may not have married a decision maker.

She may actually have married a " I don't know what to do" to every important question in their life.

She may have to wear the trouser when life throws big ideas or otherwise to them.

Having said  that if marrying a go getter, a decision maker, a guardian  is not important to her then please go ahead as this is 2011 and many women are taking control and making it happen ( as she will have to forever).

Wish them all the best as they need it  grin grin grin.

p.s saying Yes can be anything he may have had pity on her, eyah or he may have been embarrassed into saying yes.
well said
Phones › Re: The Best Symbian Phone You Know & Why Its The Best by deols(f): 8:19pm On Oct 08, 2011
timpaker:
i'm suprised no one mentioned nokia e7 that phone is the best ever symbiam phone. how do i explain it? just get one and u'd find out. i bought mine last month and sincerely speaking (writing) the phone makes me feel like a wizard.
I av bn using my E7 since July nd I love it so much!. I particularly like d keypad. I however have some issues wv it. it went on hibernation(not sure if its d right word) exactly two weeks after I bought it. I practically went into depression for dat- just cldnt believe it. but it came bak to life after about a week. I checked online and found out many other pple had similar experience. for that alone, i dont recommend it. it happened twice after that and am now insecure about it. I feel like it can happen again at any time.

I like d wifi feature nd d camera is superb. d memory too is a good thing.

battery is inbuilt so u cant do much if it has a problem. u cant remove d battery if its acting funny and u want it to stop.

pardon my layman's explanation of d workings. .I hope some1 gets d point. Its a beautiful phone never the less smiley

jayriginal:
1) You sef. Anyway, let me ignore that grin
2) As far as Im concerned, they are just pictures. I do not know whether they were photoshopped or not, but a picture like that is not necessarily proof of anything. Its a big world and if you search long and hard, you will find enough weird and unbelievable things.
Even if the pictures were not photoshopped or manipulated in anyway, they on their own do not prove anything.

Thats my opinion.
u'r entitled to ur opinion they say. Fortunately, ur opinion does not count. The Qur'an speaks of those who would see nd still not believe. I remember an atheist, teslim(i think) saying He would believe only if God calls every1 on their mobile to tell them of His existence. Even if that happens, He and of cus u nd odas like u wld still not believe. But I av to tell u that someday, these pictures might stand against u. To testify that u did see but decided not to believe.

U can doubt every other one, but definitely not the tree branches that mean laillaha illallah, that is just too much of a coincidence. I can only tell you. You can decide to believe or not to.
