How then are you convinced of what you do if you dont know of others. the similitude is of a boy who thinks his father has got the biggest farm because he'd never been to someone else's fathers. Look at this brainwashed hypocrite. If the quran is allah's word why did he allow satan's words to enter before suddenly remembering to abrogate them?
Allah is the wise and sends particular prophets to a particular people. Jesus to the lost sheep of the Isrealites. Moses was not sent to you, and is the reason you shouldn't be jew and his laws were for his people. Muhammad was sent to this generation and should be followed by all.now i guess you understand.

if you ask to buy rice and given beans, would you accept let alone pay for it?. That does not mean you would not recognise the beans seller as a business woman? THis is the reason we respect all of the prophets even though there messages are not for us.

The coming of the Quran is to present to us the message for this generation and we believe in the bible as the word of Allah and dissociate ourselves from the additions to and subtractions from it

you are not getting the point . . . allah has NO mercy to give. Take a good look at muslims in islamic countries today, where is allah's mercy?
What ignorance does to man has no bounds! If only you knew the meaning of Allah, you wouldn't say this for He is exactly whom you claim to worship but use the word God for
Christianity Etc › Pastor Fasts During Ramadan by deols(op): 10:08am On Sep 04, 2009
Everyday before sunrise, American pastor Ben Ries wakes up to eat before starting his fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. "It raises your awareness about hunger in the world," Ries told The Bellingham Herald on Monday, August 31.

Ries, 30, the pastor of the Sterling Drive Church of Christ in Bellingham, has decided to join Muslims in fasting Ramadan to get a better knowledge of the Islamic faith.

He says fasting can help him become a better Christian as well as a better pastor, husband, father, and member of a diverse world often fractured along religious lines.

Islam and Christianity; Common Grounds… Status of Jesus in Islam Between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam "Part of my reflection is, 'Who am I in this world?'" said Ries, who became pastor of his small Bellingham church two years ago.

"I'm not so narcissistic to think I have everything figured out."

As he knows little about Islam, Ries sought to find someone to help him observe the holy Muslim month.

Googling the inte, he found Monem Salam, the president of Saturna Brokerage Services, a subsidiary of Saturna Capital Corp., in Bellingham.
The American pastor immediately e-mailed the Muslim leader, asking him to be his mentor during the dawn-to-dusk fasting month.

"It seemed like it could be a good partnership," Salam said.

"We could both learn from each other."

Ramadan is the holiest month in the Muslim calendar.

In Ramadan, adult Muslims, save the sick and those traveling, abstain from food, drink, smoking and sex between dawn and sunset.

Muslims dedicate their time during the holy fasting month to become closer to Allah through prayer, self-restraint and good deeds.

Ground-breaking

On family dinners, Salam and Ries started to meet before Ramadan to teach the pastor about the fasting month.

Ries has also started reading the Noble Quran and is keeping a journal about his reflections and experiences during Ramadan.
"I'm not a big breakfast person, so it's been difficult for me," he said.

The US pastor hopes that his experience of fasting the Muslim holy month would be a healing step towards a better world.

"As a Christian, I believe this world is broken," he said. "It's not as it's supposed to be."

Salam, who has made a documentary about his experience and his family as a Muslim family living in American society, agreed.

"He's breaking some ground here," Salam said.

He said sharing Riess experience with other church members and non-Muslims would have a better impact on understanding the Islamic faith.

"Hopefully, in the future, we'll have more individuals doing it.

Well, the treatment is bad but since its the way every other person who finds themselves at EFCC custody is treated then its o.k. What we should be saying concerning this is a better treatment for all inmates and not just Cecilia.

Nigerians surely wont pity these people who make their money from the people's sweats and later act like they are from another planet. Its good that they feel these sometimes and maybe they can now have compassion for those who face this scenario all the time. Same to the corrupt politicians.Their time is soon InshaAllah.

I do not see anything wrong with replacing him with whoever the president deems fit. We would not have known of Soludo's competence if he was never appointed and a government office is nobody's inheritance. Why not let him go in peace instead of turning the situation into a tribal war after all, all we hear are speculations and not formal declarations from the presidency.

Uhmnn Nigerians, when we heard of a 13 yr old father, we blame the west for their high immorality rate and now someone's trying to encourage morality and there are still people to rain abuses. what actually do we think is right.

Those who think the girls arent beautiful have their definition of what beauty is. Exposed body parts, sexy clothings, indecent dressing? now i understand. But i sure know this girls arent less beautiful than many of your girlfriends.

Travel › Re: Rip-offs At Nigerian Airports by deols(f): 11:46pm On May 25, 2008
Of all the international airports have been to,the Nigerian is the worst. Talk of crowd management, the check-ins,customs operations(the most annoying),you'd wish there was a wayout.
And now talk of the airport structure.
DEPARTURES.here, you'll see passengers & their families waiting for someone to get off his/her seat for a chance to sit.The crowd is just too much that you sometimes can't tell a passenger from a well wisher nor an official from a 419ner.
SOLUTION? the check-ins should b limited to passengers and a waiting hall provided for well wishers.
ARRIVALS.here, the only problem is getting your luggage.there is no good policy to ensure that luggage get to their rightful owners. There is no dutyfree post you can be proud of  to showcase Nigerian products to any foreigner.
Finally, the airport needs to be expandedand beautified to meet international standards.

Romance › Re: Advantages Of Polygamy? by deols(f): 12:01pm On Feb 11, 2008
A person who is not financially okay is not allowed to practice polygamy in Islam. Many of the people who do, don't follow the rules and that is why you don't see the benefits. you need to also understand that it is not compulsory.

Imagine a situation where a Man's wife is not available to Him as a result of child birth or menstruation, He can easily go to his other wife(if he has got one) and wouldn't have any course to go outside thereby reducing his tendency of contracting diseases, prevent unwanted pregnancy, leading to no cause for abortion and thereby solving several social problems.
