PIPnator:
I said it earlier before the election on 2015..
A vote for Buhari is a step back in time. Who take pver 6 month to inaugurate his cabinet? Did any else notice the show of shame of his firsg official trip to the US as president? That visit was supposed to be, our ministers meet their US counterparts, discuss possible areas of cooperation but no, they just went for handshake with almighty president of America.

The worst of it was when he took ages to solve the forex crisis then. For the first time in our history as a nation the spread between official rate and the parrarel market became unmanageable. Only of we know how much we lost as a mation because of that.

A lot international business men i know stopped importing because of that. Imagine your businesz capital ar 5million and all a sudden the 5million in reduced to less that 3million in dollar value.
I keep saying it, GEJ wasnt the best but at least he would have been the catalist for change between a newer way of running the government and the older ways. A new crop of people and the older.

At least by the time he finishes his 2nd term, these old cabals that have held us captive for years would have been much older and too weak for seek office.
Buhari came back and brought them all back. Now we back and further behind were we passed.
lmao at GEJ.

You really mean we should go back to the world famous looting, stealing and project abandoning PDP with world famous athiefKulooter in the driver's seat?

I am utterly disapointed with president buhari and his apc team, he fumbled and showed us that he's is grossly incompetent to lead our great country Nigeria out of the wood. He could not hold his own during a presidential debate on NTA yesterday. however, am appealing to our teaming youths who have the privilege and right to act with there pvc's . Pls vote for a credible candiddate that has the neccessary requisite to lead us out of this embarrassment. Mind you , atiku of pdp is not an option either . Kingsley moghalu of ypp has the intellect and capacity but I don't think he has the doggedness to confront those holding Nigeria back . That is why am so delight to apreciate mr omoyele sowore of AAC. He has proven beyond doubt that he is ready for the challenge ahead. Watch him debate on Wednesday ,January 23 by 7pm on NTA network. Thanks for your audience

PMB did perfectly well and in fact, TV appearance is utterly irrelevant, his positive actions on the ground = 4 more years.

Are you stupid and ret@rded not to be able to show us where he categorically confessed to the charges that are yet to be served on him personally as at the date of his chat with the Premium Times ?

The man has not confessed any wrong doing. In his chat, he claimed an omission and not a guilt. You are the one making things up.

Why are you finding it difficult to show us where he accepted he was guilty.

Your media trial can only deceive your kind.

Stop ranting like a 2-year-old kid. The man admitted that he failed to do what he was supposed do, meaning he broke the law and even so far the man is not denying the charges, he openly admitted that he broke the law and the reason why he did is utterly irrelevant, he broke the law.

I tell the real hive of corrupt elements in our society resides in the judiciary. These elements have formed a cult like clique of 'one for all and all for one. '
You see the way even the NBA rose frantically to his defense.

Where lies our hopes in this country?

We're doom if certain ppl don't stand up for what's right in this case
The judiciary is always our last line of defense, we depend on the judiciary to deter the society from lawlessness, criminality and breakdown of law and order, but judiciary in Nigeria is the most corrupt arm of our government, they sell judgments to the highest bidder at the expense of the society and this is the reason why corruption is not leaving us, unless we take drastic actions.

This is how dire the situation is, the head of the NBA, is currently on trial for money laundering and corruption and the head of the judiciary is about to face trial for similar transgressions and we still have many judges on trial as we speak.

Very sad..

Politics › Ex-air Chief, Amosum Forfeits N2.2bn To FG by deomelo(op): 6:08am On Jan 17, 2019
https://cdn.dailytrust.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/air-marshal-adesola-amosu.jpg

Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of a Federal High Court in Lagos yesterday ordered the final forfeiture of N2.2 billion recovered from a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, to the Federal Government.

This followed an ex-parte application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on June 7, 2018.

The court had earlier granted an interim order of forfeiture of N2,244,500,000 recovered by the EFCC from the Amosu, suspected to be proceeds of an unlawful activity.

Justice Olatoregun also ordered forfeiture of N101 million recovered from Solomon Enterprises, a company linked to Amosu.

“Upon examination of the two applications asking the interim orders to be set aside, dated July 28, 2018. from the first respondent and the interested party, I found nothing to set aside the order, and the applications are hereby dismissed.

“The only conclusion I can reach is that these funds are proceeds of an unlawful activity.

“The court has an inherent power to vary or discharge an interim order given, the affidavits filed disclosed no reason why the order of final forfeiture should not be made.

“I hereby order the final forfeiture of these sums to the Federal Government of Nigeria: N2,244,500,000, N190,828,978.15 and N101 million.

“The funds should be paid into the nominated GTB treasury single account of the Federal Government and an affidavit of compliance filed within 14 days.” Olatoregun ruled.

Amosu and an interested party; Air Vice Marshal Bolaji Adigun, had filed counter affidavits, arguing that the funds were proceeds of their personal businesses and not from an illegal activity.

But Justice Olatoregun in her ruling Wednesday, dismissed the affidavits, stating that they had failed to provide any facts as to the level of probability to ascertain if the funds were obtained unlawfully.

Amosu, Gbadebo and former NAF Chief of Accounts and Budgeting Air Vice Marshal Jacob were on trial before Justice Mohammed Idris of the same court before he was elevated to the Court of Appeal.

The EFCC had accused them of converting N21bn from NAF through various companies, namely Delfina Oil and Gas Ltd, Mcallan Oil and Gas Ltd, Hebron Housing and Properties Company Ltd, Trapezites BDC, Fonds and Pricey Ltd, Deegee Oil and Gas Ltd, Timsegg Investment Ltd and Solomon Health Care Ltd.

They were accused of using the Air Force’ funds to buy 40A, Bourdillon, Ikoyi for N900m; a property at Sinari Daranijo in Victoria Island for N1.5bn; Cappadol Mall at Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Wuse II Abuja for N750m; a N1.7billion property at Agobogba Street, Parkview, Ikoyi Lagos; among others.

It is obvious that the shame is on you, else, you would have shown us where the CJN admitted he was guilty of asset declaration falsification.

This goes to show you poor comprehension skills to have equated the admission of an error to the acceptance of a crime.

Even if he actually committed the crime but denies it does not mean he has pleaded guilty.

Try to read and understand.
Look here, the man confessed already that he did not do what he was supposed to do and he's not even denying the charges, meaning he transgressed, meaning he admitted guilt.

This is self-explanatory and last I checked, he did not deny or question the charges.

Are you slow in the head or just playing dumb and stupid?

Prior to 2016, His Lordship appears to have suppressed or otherwise concealed the existence of these multiple domiciliary accounts owned by him, as well as the substantial cash balances in them.

The Standard Chartered Bank dollar account 1062650 had a balance of $391,401.28 on 31st January 2011;

The Standard Chartered Bank Euro account 5001062686 had a balance of EURO 49,971.71 on 31st January 2011;

The Standard Chartered Bank pound sterling account 5001062679 had a balance of GBP23,409.66 on 28th February 2011.

It is curious that these domiciliary accounts were not declared in one of the two CCB Forms filed by Justice Onnoghen on the same day, 14th December 2016.

The Naira bank accounts in b (i) and b (v) above are also omitted in the CCB form of Declarant SCN: 000014.

Justice Onnoghen made five different cash deposits of $10,000 each on 8th March 2011 into Standard Chartered Bank Account 1062650;

On 7th June 2011, two separate cash deposits of $5000 each were made by Justice Walter Onnoghen, followed by four cash deposits of $10,000 each;

On 27th June 2011, Justice Onnoghen made another set of five separate cash deposits of $10,000 each and made four more cash deposits of $10,000 each on the following day, 28th June 2011
