Philadelphia: For the NSE route, is $30,000 CAD sufficient proof of funds for a self-sponsored student going for a 2 year program with 1 year tuition at $25,000 CAD and 1 year living expense at $11,000. CAD? It’s kinda confusing. For the NSE route, you're expected to show AT LEAST $30,000 CAD. I believe you added a SOA to your application when you submitted, and according to your tuition and LE, you're supposed to show some good amount money, say at least $40,000 CAD. If this SOA($40,000 CAD+) is still the same you want to use for the NSE requirement, then it's fine. Actually it's advised you use this same SOA. I hope I answered you? |

Sirkenny44: Thanks but I didn't see any validate button on the form If I remember correctly, one of the forms I filled didn't have a validate button (kindly check properly at the top and bottom to be extra sure). You can continue with the other forms if you're done. You'll still be asked to sign before submitting your application, so I guess that covers all. |

RxOtunba: Can the mybankstatement be for 6months or must it be for 1year. My sponsor's acct was specifically opened for the purpose of my admission, hence, it was opened Jan 29th, 2020. Could it be a red flag if the V.O sees in the reference letter that the account was created just last year? Maybe you can wait until February before printing the bank statement thingy. Or give a detailed explanation in your SOP. This is just what I think. Please allow for other opinions. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME |

RxOtunba: Okay, so what you mean is that once I fill my form, I can attach LOE, mybankstatement certificate, IELTS result. Even without waiting for them to request it. Thanks so much, hope I got you right Yo got it |

RxOtunba: For the NSE, can the sponsor have more than the $30k in the acct? As an applicant with September resumption date, can I apply via NSE and it won't look like desperation? Is there any extra visa/processing cost? If I'm getting it right, I'll fill the visa application, upload statement of acct and all, then wait for the embassy to send me NSE request, then I send them IELTS score, mybankstatement ticket with $30k or more, am I correct? Hello, Your sponsor can have $30k and above. You won't look desperate if you attach the required NSE documents the first time you submit. You can also decide to wait for IRCC to send you the NSE request letter before you upload the documents. I believe the former is better. Goodluck with your application. IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME. |

Anamekele: I just got my stamped passport now. To God be the glory. I sent my passport to Abuja on the 4th and it returned unstamped because I didn't pay transmission fee due to someone's advice that they will contact me to pay. They didn't instead they returned it. I had pay the transmission fee, pay couriers one way and paid #12570 to vfs for return. My advice is that people should take note of this so that it won't happen to them. My application was refused 5 times , my admission expired 2 times, I kept hope alive . I went to court for judicial review and won. Finally it ended in praise . Don't give up hold onto your dream with clean hands and clean . May God bless you all. IT HAS ENDED IN PRAISES |

Elizdee: Well... I didn’t do any amendment on my second application. I felt the visa officer that handled the first was not God sent . I submitted the same SOP and other documents like that and backed it up with prayers and fasting. If you see me now, I am now slim ontop fasting. But God is good.
I keep saying my case is different.. God broke all protocols and procedures for my sake. He made a miraculous way for me

gbadeolu1: Please, could you explain further on NSE documents. What are those? To enable IRCC process your application faster(around 20 days), you'll be asked to submit an IELTS result with at least a 6.0 score in each section. You can choose to write the paper based or computer based test(if you've not written before). The latter allows you get your result in 3-5 days. The second document is a "mybankstatement" certificate from your bank. You can Google "mybankstatement" to get more information about that, but basically, your bank generates an ID and password which is sent to the embassy. You're required to have at least 30kCAD in this bank account. I'm sure someone will post the link to a thread where all these were explained better. Goodluck! IT WILL END IN PRAISES IN THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME. |
