There is a loudmouthed maggot that passes as former minister of aviation who had publicly admitted to have been corruptive while in office.
Politics › Re: Oduah Slammed! Lawmakers Recommend 3-year Jail Term Over Bulletproof Cars by DerideGull(m): 1:19pm On Nov 18, 2013
naijacenter: The panel set up to investigate the accusation levied against the Aviation minister, Stella Oduah, has carried out their findings with recommendations added.

According to the lawmakers, Princess Oduah forced the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to buy the bulletproof cars that cost N222m, contrary to the claim made by the minister.

They recommended that Oduah should face a three year jail term for spending public money recklessly without passing due process or waiting to be added in the budget, they also added additional N100,000 fine

Findings read “That the contract for the purchase of the cars was not listed in the budget by NCAA, the agency compelled by the minister to make the purchase, and was not listed by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).

“That spending public funds on unbudgeted projects attracts three years in jail and a fine of N100, 000 as stipulated by the ICPC Act.”

“The minister has not addressed why the NCAA paid a price tag that auto dealers in the US and UK described as ‘a rip-off’. It is a fact that each of the BMW cars should cost no more than $167,000 which is approximately N36 million.

Part of their revelations showed that Stella Oduah did not present NCAA request to FEC for approval and buying and paying later is against the extant laws of the federation.

It reads: “Aviation minister approved NCAA’s request to procure 55 operational vehicles valued at N564.665 million; there is no evidence to show that the Hon. Minister presented NCAA’s request to FEC for its approval. Further, the attempt to procure now and pay later is against the extant laws of the federation.”

Therefore, their recommendation is that “the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria should review the continued engagement of the Hon. Minister for Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, having contravened the 2013 appropriation and approved revised thresholds by exceeding her approval limit of N100m with the purchase of 54 vehicles valued at N643m”.

Obiano to be declared winner this evening.
I have been informed that APGA is trying to reach out to other minor political parties in a buyout bid that will see them taking positions that the election is free and fair. I will update as soon as I have info on the buyout figures they are putting across.

The last has not been heard on this ROBBERY. This is only the beginning, The Court/Tribunal has a simple case to handle. A case of a dishonest leader who stole a lot and had so much to buy a third term for himself.
Pathetic losers always look forward to clogging Nigerians court's system with frivolous electoral litigations. You and ilk should have gone to court to stop the election since you know it has been sold to a highest bidder.

Cuche: It all started with the issue of a candidate with the overwhelming attempt to cover up an issue of double registration. It is worthy of note that this candidate only registered this year. In communities where this candidate had serious interest, voting was smooth, no complaints from people who registered this year like this Candidate. Their names were in the Register and they voted
But it is different in other places. People who have been registered years ago and have been voting previously have their names missing in the register.
Who tampered with the Register at the pooling boots of the strongholds of other Candidates?
While the challenges INEC had in this election seems to have occurred in carefully selected areas, giving an encompassing advantage to a particular candidate and his followers who had it so smooth with their voting
Other areas were visited with Confusion. This is not a coincidence.
Why was the "coincidence" highly selective and targeted at some people.
Like my Father told me when I was hoping a credible election will be allowed that GEJ will be the greatest Fool to permit that, it is very clear that the rumours of huge settlements with withdrawals from Anambra made to certain persons could be true.
How much was Anambra Sold and to who?
INEC cannot play PILATE'S Hand-washing in this matter. This is highly IMMORAL. It is a daytime Robbery.
The only opportunity we had to vote out incompetent group of people was sold out by a few persons with only one INEC Sacrificial Official indicted.

Are they sending invitations to the Military? I am sure nobody wants a military take over. Why can't we do things right.

Let me sound like a Prophet. Obi your celebration will be short-lived, the last has not been heard of Anambra Election. Obiano can NEVER win a credible election in Anambra. He will not even come close to 3rd position.
TRIBUNALS AND COURTS: over to you.
How much amount of money did the lowest bidder bid? This is act of hallucination gone south.

@OP

If you are not a pathetic joker, then you must be drunk. It is laughable to remotely insinuate that a Yoruba or Igbo or Edo or Hausa should act as if he/she is not Yoruba or Igbo or Edo or Hausa. God is not stupid to have created us not be English. However, the idiotic English wanted to play God by lumping us together in a dungeon called Nigeria, hence Nigerians.

Culture is a natural tendency which gave rise to tribe or ethnicity. There is nothing wrong in the practice of tribalism. It becomes wrong when such practice is detrimental to other ethnic groups. Unfortunately, Nigeria is an example of ethnic bigotry where tribalism in detriment to others has been institutionalized, for example quota system.

Orlando Owoh: Gull, if your claim that the coupists of January 1966 couldn't have been purnished because the military tribunal was not yet set up is anything to go by, why then were they arrested in the first place? What punitive measure was Ironsi hoping to take against them?
Olodo, did I not say you appear dumber each time you navigate to this forum? I guess a clueless jackass such as you falls into the class of demented human beings who will punish an individual before his/her guilt is determined.

There is no doubt you have comprehension issues since you construed that my previous post remotely suggested the coup plotters should not be punished. If Gowon, Usman and Yusuf had diligently performed the task assigned to them by Supreme Military Council of the era in discussion instead of being busy turning the coup into ethnic episode and planning countercoup, the plotters would have been punished according to the dictates of the law of the land.

delegiwa: The rate at which topics degenerate to tribal wars on Nairaland is alarming. Look at a good topic on Ken Saro Wiwa - a man seen a martyr by his people and for very good reasons too!

You only need to go to Ogoniland and see the devastation caused by drilling.

There are bodies of water that will not be fit for consumption forever!

There are lands this will never tolerate vegetation for eternity!
There are little children that will never make it to their 6th birthday due to the pollution in their backyard!

Those are the issues and not if Saro Wiwa was a saint or not. The question should be: The 'cause' he was fighting for, was it for real? Of course it was. The devastation in their land is for real people. The fact that Saro Wiwa didn't join Ojukwu should not make us hate him. He may have had his reasons. It is not for us to judge him. By the way, who said the same devastation wouldn't happen under Biafra?

The issues he fought for are glaring for all to see. The ICJ has indicted Shell - the same thing Ken said and all these injustices against the Ogonis are not hidden anymore. Let's leave this man to rest in peace abeg.

Oh by the way, I'm from Arochukwu!
The above post is as idiotic as it could be and more. This is public forum and you must prepare to take good with the bad. If you do not like the heat then stay away from the kitchen. It is all good and dandy when doubled faced Ken Saro Wiwa took and enjoyed Shell BP scholarship only to turn around when he fail out federal government under Abacha. Ken Saro Wiwa led the group that killed famous Ogoni sons who were better than him and helped the scallywag secure positions he ordinarily would not have secured.

Nobody gives a hoot if you were the grandparents of Arochukwu. I hate when fools invoke the entity such as ICJ which represents the interests of colonialists and imperialists under the auspices of “new world order” to save face. Was it not the same ICJ that ceded Bakassi to Cameroon on the urging France, Britain and USA without taking into consideration the plights of people who called themselves Nigerians?

You wish and want good governance but do everything that negates good governments for purely base and primordial sentiments as if such sentiments will elevate your life.

This imbecilic midget can not recognize good governance even when it is placed on the ridge of his/her dirty nose. Lagos State has the worst government in Nigeria. No good government deports the citizens of the country and still talks of good governance.

I really never thought a lapper such as you had time to review recorded events and it shows through the gibberish you had been posting on this forum. When the goons such as Ahmadu Bello and Samuel Akintola were worried sick of Igbo domination in Nigeria and visibly shaken of being subjugated by Ndigbo, I bet your loudmouthed parentage has not decided to bring a douche bag such as you onto the earth.

Is there any ethnic group in Nigeria that is crazy and idiotic beyond human intellect to single-handedly engage or slide into a war path with Ndigbo? I am sure a moronic dingbat such as you should not be emboldened by the outcome of Nigeria-Biafra civil war which entities such as Britain, USSR, Cameroon, Egypt, Australia, Niger, Chad and Arab League of Nations played majors roles in deciding the outcome.

Orlando Owoh: Northerners, westerners and southerners will not only be reminded by their politicians of how their sons and daughters were killed on 15th January 1966, but will also be told how the Igbo officers that executed the coup d' état were left unpurnished.
You seem to be dumber when on the forum. Nigeria of the 1966 was better structured than Nigeria of 1975. There was no execution or trial by tribunal for coup plotters in 1966. Therefore the plank of argument that the officers were being left unpunished is informed through the atmosphere of blatant ignorance and idiotic propaganda.

The execution of coup plotters of any sort was introduced in Nigeria by Obasanjo and his fellow ignoramuses. However when it was time for Obasanjo to be publicly executed for plotting coup, the loudmouthed ingrate wept like a malnourished baby.

Officers and ranks that participated in January 15, 1966 were to be prosecuted through court marshal, imprisoned or discharged from the army. However, the fact-finding panel that consisted mainly of northerners in the persons of Gowon, Usman and Yusuf were bent on making the coup a tribal thing instead of bringing the charges because the trio was busy planning a coup.

Why would any Igbo person care about what a northerner, westerner and southerner think about the coup of January 15, 1966 when the resultant war had been fought, won and lost? There is nothing more left for Igbo and Biafrans in Nigeria than to even the scores at any given opportunity.

Abagworo: Which means we've never had Hausa as President. They seem the most subdued group in Nigeria because they chose to be called Hausa/Fulani so that their population will be highest.
I have informed you on many occasions not to allow others to define you. If you do, somewhere along the line, the person who has been defined will become irrelevant. At some point when Nigerians become critically enlightened, the term Hausa-Fulani will become irrelevant too.

I guess the instances of subtleness have the trappings of being defeated by the Jihadists and political naiveté on the part of Hausa. Sometimes I am baffled thinking about this group because the entire northern Nigeria speaks Hausa not by means of conquest yet the group is almost nonexistence.

Orlando Owoh: On Wednesday the 13th of this month at the PDP governorship campaign, Arthur Eze, a chieftain of the party made the following statement about the APC's candidate, Christ Ngige, " That short man called Ngige, we gave him power and he went and joined Awolowo's people; the people that killed the Igbos (sic)." This statement was deliberately made to dissuade the people of Anambra from voting for Ngige who arguably, stands a better chance of being elected in today's election. While Eze may see his comment as a mere statement geared towards getting votes for his party, it left a lot to be desired. It will surely have an adverse effect on any Igbo wanting to become President of Nigeria.
When they get to the north during their campaign, northers would be told by their politicians not to vote for the people of soldiers that killed their sons, Ahmadu Bello, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Ali Akilu, Ahmed Ben Musa (Ahmadu Lere), Zakariya Mailamari, Kur Mohammed, Abogo Largema and Yakubu Pam.
In the west, people will be told not to vote the people of the soldiers that killed Samuel L. Akintola, Samuel A. Ademulegun, Ralph Shodeinde, his wife and their unborn baby.
In the south, Delta State in particular, Itshekiri would be asked not to vote the people that killed Festus Okotie-Eboh.
These people were killed on the 15th of January, 1966.
The statement accredited to Arthur Eze was accurate in its entirety. Good a thing the poster of the above nonsensical crap even realized that soldiers of Nigerian army killed the lappers he/she listed in the post. What an Omole. I can not recall Festus Okotie-Eboh being an Itshekiri.

Abagworo: Could you please list 2 Hausas that have ruled Nigeria. I feel ashamed by some comments I read from Nigerian youths. Maybe Murtala Mohammed is the only Hausa President ever in Nigeria. Combined years of Fulani rule is 8years Buhari 2, Shagari 4 and Yar'Adua 2. When you combine that with Murtala, you'll get a total of 9 years for Hausa/Fulani while Obasanjo alone has ruled 11years. Babangida from Gwari which is a minority middlebelt ethnic group ruled for 8 years , Abdulsalami from Nupe which is a minority group ruled for 1year while Abacha from Kanuri which is also a minority group ruled for 5 years. Gowon from Angas which is a minority middlebelt group like IBB ruled for 9 years. You people need to update your knowledge about Nigeria.
Murtala Mohammed was not Hausa. Unless Mallam Inuwa Wada was Hausa then Murtala Mohammed could be half Hausa.
