@OP I blame these acts of rascality and culture of impunity often displayed by citizens of Nigeria who are of the Islamic faith and from northern region on the idiotic southerners who joined the Gowon and northern region in the delusion called “one-Nigeria”. This is the same rascality and loudmouthed opinions of 1964/65 when the likes of Bello, Balewa and Akintola were making ill-filled comments capable of inciting riots. However when the coup arrived, most idiotic Nigerians wanted an elimination tailored towards tribal equilibrium. |
This man works for GEJ.
You could be correct. ![]() |
@OP This is idiocy of highest order. All the schools in Bayelsa State have no vacancies to accommodate 250 students which warranted the ignorant governor of the state to initiate plans to send them to the Republic of Benin of all places and Asari Dokubo's operated academy for that matter. What a goofy state. |
Abagworo: If Jonathan runs a free and fair election , then there won't be violence. Everyone already knows that Jonathan cannot win any free and fair election in Nigeria. 80% of Nigerians don't like him. Most people that support him on the social media are obviously paid. What they did in Anambra is an insult to any intelligent being and cannot work in a Presidential election or even in a politically sensitive Local Government. You are very silly. How could a person campaigning for an office in an election also run the said election? There is a body in Nigeria mandated to organize and conduct election and the last time I checked, it is not Jonathan Goodluck. Nigerians always cite the countries such as USA in their moronic debates but fail to apply an average intellect as do citizens of USA. |

2map: I just had to smh after reading these posts^^. Why should ethnicism be brought into this, I fear for our future!neptu2, tribally biased bent was the hallmark of the accusation of corruption leveled against Stella Oduah in the wake of the purchase of armored cars by NCAA for ministry of aviation. It is safe to say that most Nigerians do not understand the connotations of the word-corruption. |
Cubeet: let's forget about her tribe or ethnic group. The fact is that she was linked with corruption.ASUU is on strike while a single person is acquiring two bullet proof cars whether as gift or grant, i dont knw for them. Nigerians are in the street begging and suffering. Her regime as minister of Aviation, is the worse ever. Our airspace is no longer safe. I know she is not the only corrupt leader in office, but she should be use as a scapegoat. Let begin to fight against corruption and forget whether she is frm sw, ss, or se.You should spend sometimes in the library just to understand the connotations of the word-“Corruption”. I had suggested that ASUU should go to hell and no counterfeit money should be advanced to them because of products such as you. Please desist from making a fool out of your silly safe. Do you, at all, know the meaning of “airspace” talk less of being unsafe? Is there any bombing of Nigerian cities through the air by neighboring countries? Is there any midair collusion in Nigeria? I have resolutely stated that Stella Oduah infringed no forms of corruption with the purchase of two armored BMW cars by NCAA for ministry of aviation. |
If you and your cohorts believe what you wrote above, you should go to court and work within our system for remedy. Enough of being cry babies. Go to court and fight it out or apply pressure on your representatives to act if you believe that Kano state violated your constitutional rights. I knew you belong to the lawless crew in Texas. If your private clubs in Bailey County sell Alcohol to you people, you and the club owners belong in jail.
There is no doubt you have problem with realism. Bros real life situation is different from what you read on the pages of obscure newspapers. The counties know what the deal is all about. |
FreeGlobe: oh please, spare us your long epistles. The election was generally regarded as fraud by all. Not just APC. Everybody except APGA. If this fraud is what you are planning for biafra keep dreamingAnybody, especially Nigerian, who has been trounced in election always regard the process as fraudulent. It is only genuine when such miscreants won the election. APC and supporters are idiotic losers. |
Oga, at some point you people will have to decide whether you want to be law abiding or not. If you are a host in a city, locality, or state, abide by their laws, as long as the laws are not unconstitutional. shi kena As far as your statement about "Dry Counties", the sale of alchohol is illegal anywhere in those counties, private clubs will not have any license to sell alchoholic beverages even to their members. You people are ignorant of the laws of your own localities, yet you are whining about kano, thousands of miles away from you all. Okwute angry and cheated Anambrarians, piafuka gi ........
I really do not know how “Commerce Clause” is handled in Nigerian Constitution. However if there is such clause, there is no doubt Kano State ban on alcoholic beverages will run contrary to such section of the constitution.Again, I do not know which private club you have attended in “Dry Counties” in Texas such as Bailey Country the fact remains that private club sells alcoholic beverages to members in the clubs houses. |
You are dumber than I thought. I am suprised that you don't know that in whole counties (not just municipalities) in the USA where you claim to reside, no sales of alcoholic beverages are legal anywhere in those counties. In Texas alone, no sale of alchoholic beverages are legal in the following counties : 1. Bailey 2. Borden 3. Collingsworth 4. Delta 5. Hemphill 6. Kent 7. Martin 8. Parmer 9. Roberts 10. Sterling 11. Throckmorton mumu, are you sure you do not reside in the bushes of the SE Nigeria but claim to reside in the USA? You people will use any excuse to avoid participating in the democratic process. Ekwueremadu does not have 2 heads and is a Nigerian like you, stop whining and take the bull by the horns participate!!.
I can not believe how some people throw silly analogies around in Nigeria. Counties are not States. Counties are local government entities. It is a perilous act to the principles of democracy for state government such as Kano State to throw a blanket ban on sales of alcoholic beverages in the state. The government of Kano State should have allowed the ban to be handled by the local governments and the ban should not be based on religious doctrines. There is a separation of government and religion in entire USA. Even the “Dry Counties” you have listed in the above post do not have outright ban on sales of alcoholic beverages because private clubs are allowed to handle alcoholic beverages. |
Ola Johnson: Grandpa, it's unfortunate you took part in the war but are trying to distort history because you fought on the side of Biafra. Port Harcourt was captured by Benjamin Adekunle before before Yakubu Gowon effected the change in command on 12 May 1969 which saw Col. Bissalla taking over 1st Division from Col Muhammed Shuwa; Col. Gibson Jallo taking over 2nd Division from Col. Haruna; and Col. Olusegun Obasanjo taking over 3MCDO from Col. Benjamin Adekunle. You have always come across as typical Yoruba chap who seems in hast to regurgitated the crap lifted from the junks written by Nowa Omoigui. Granted you are a borderline dunce that is comprehensibly challenged, I suggest you make use of eyes if they are not defective too. I wrote that “Port Harcourt was about to be recaptured” by the “S” Division chaps. Again, Elechi Amadi was not in Port Harcourt and Aluu throughout the war. Elechi Amadi was once acting principal of Asa High School, Asa when Mr. Onwumah was appointed as the administrator of Aba Province. Anyway, when a person finds him/her self on the winning side, the person tends to run his/her mouth especially if the person is of Yoruba extraction. If 3MCDO was entirely made-up of Nigerian soldiers of Yoruba extraction, the crap written by Obasanjo would have engaged my thought. “S” Division of Biafran army with only three Brigades destroyed every element of 3MCDO Brigades that stood to block them without minding the numerical strength advantage enjoyed by 3MCDO. |
Eze Igbo NL, go and read up on mathematical induction olodo. ad infinitum ko, continuum ni. The trouble with you people is that you continue to live in denial. You lost the war, period!! Your supreme leader Ikemba Eze Igbo Gburugburu, RIP, accepted this reality and embraced patriotism. He ran for elective offices and even for the Presidency. He formed APGA and learnt to live by democratic ideals. Your own leaders and governors are ready to imprison and kill you people if you try any foolishness.
You are so much enmeshed in illogicalities such as utterances about Biafrans living in denial and lost of war. Germany lost WWI but the setback did not stop it from jump starting the WWII. Only deluded ninnies will accuse Biafrans of being in denial of the defeat. The defeat did not in any way or shape remove the fundamental rights of Biafrans to seek separation from Nigeria. Biafrans fought gallantly and lost the war while swinging. Today, no sane single ethnic group will dream of engaging Ndigbo in a modern warfare. In addition, Biafrans or other groups in Nigeria have every right to seek separation from Nigeria. Bakassi was once an integral part of Nigeria yet Cameroon did not spend a shell to get it. |
nwanne m, it is impossible to morally justify any war as far as I am concerned. War is a barbaric act, period. We must do all we can to avoid another one. The killing of a single Nigerian citizen is morally reprehensible, whether during a war or in peace. The sane thing to do is learn from the past and try not to allow history to repeat itself. There is enough blame to go around, buddy. Its time to move on. P.S, you address me as "nwanne", try to add an "m" to the end of that word like I did above, it will give you some relief.
If you studiously believed, which I doubt very seriously, that it is impossible to morally justify any war as far as you are concerned, one wonders what holds you back from jumping on Gowon’s throat for precipitating a war against people who just wanted out of the cesspit called Nigeria. |
automaticcars: The Ibos celebrating her in London. Just like SS celebtayed Ibori serving jail time in London for stealing his people blind. This is the reason why there won't be an ibo president. They cannot be trusted. I expect the Ibo moderators to delete my post. Delete my post and let thunder strike you today. You are a pathological liar. Tinubu, Fashola and Obasanjo are all Yoruba men and had been publicly celebrated by not only ordinary and hungry Yoruba men but juju musicians too. It is very shameful Nigeria has few dullards that do understand the meaning of the word-corruption. Simply because the minister of aviation is an Igbo, the act of purchasing two cars by NCAA for operational purposes of ministry of aviation is termed a corruptive practice. What a country. |
Ola Johnson: Benjamin Adekunle was replaced with Olusegun Obasanjo because was making the war drag. If he had been left, he would have finished you all. He wouldn't have accepted a surrender from Philip Effiong like Obasanjo did. He would have ensured that Ojukwu didn't escape. You are as clueless as Benjamin Adekunle. At the time Benjamin was replaced as GOC 3MCDO, Port Harcourt was about to be recaptured and the loudmouthed officer of Yoruba extraction had flooded HQ with SOS. Instead of you stating the truth that Benjamin Adekunle had his butt handed to him by the resourceful boys of “S” Division of Biafran army, you deceitfully stated that he was making the war drag. Yoruba peeps have mouth indeed. |
dayokanu: Tose act of embarrassment made the bravest Iboman flee warfront. like a cowardI do not mind if a person fought and ran away to fight another day. However I dislike cowards who hid while the battle rages on only to glow in the midst of victory. |
dozzybaba: Maybe Ikemba was following Brig. Ogundipe's footsteps.Brig Babafemi Ogundipe ran into “NNS Nigeria” without setting his sight on the muzzle of a gun. |
dayokanu: Yeah. The man who in his prime pummeled Ojuku till he fledThe jackass called Benjamin Adekunle was so clueless in a fight against schoolboys which forced Gowon to yank him off the field and made him, Adekunle, the traffic warden officer in Apapa. Only in Yoruba land a GOC turned into a traffic warden officer is regarded as a gallant soldier. Anyway, I am not surprised since the same persons regarded wrestle matches as Kiriji wars. |
dayokanu: Ojuku is a coward for fleeing from what he claimed he believed inShut up your putrid loud mouth, olodo. Do you know the rudimentary basics of warfare? You come across as a wimpy chap that will cry blood during the first day of introduction on the parade ground. |
Mr Everest: Do you have cognitive reasoning at all? The coward aka Obasanjo was shot in the back when he was trying to escape( that was actually the first and last day he ventured close to the war front) this was alluded by your kinsman when he released his war memoir.Bros when Biafrans stood tall and fearless against an aggressive side with numerical strength advantage over Biafra, the pitiful cowards such as Obasanjo, Adebayo and Awolowo were hiding around in Ibadan claiming northern regional soldiers of Nigerian army in western region numbered up to 40,000 when entire Nigerian army was not up to a divisional strength. |
ijaw citizen: Have I mentioned that there is equally nothing important in their meetings too? You don't "fight for the soul of Nigeria" by creating a sectional group like like SS/SE governors forum. No, you have not foolishly mentioned there is equally nothing important in their meetings too. I do not think Ndigbo are foolish enough to discuss issues that bordered on the wellbeing of Republic of Igbo land with backstabbers such as you and your kinsmen in the reality of post-Nigeria. |
Let me quote one of the respondents on this thread: "The unity and sovereignty of Nigeria is absolutely, completely and irrevocably non-negotiable. The sooner you disgruntled elements in the Diaspora get this very salient point the more usefully you would be able to make effective contributions to the polity." Get this through your thick and stubborn skull. The truth of the matter which you refuse to accept is that, Nigerians who hold your views regarding 'bailing out of the project' are in the minority. Even within the SE, this view is not shared by most people including your leaders. You belong to fringe groups which cannot influence the polity of this country. Even in the country you reside, there are fringe groups who, to this day want to seceed from the USA. We all know what will happen to their aggitations. Biafra war was lost 50 years ago, its time to finally accept defeat and come back and build this nation.
Only a malnourished fool will even pay a mind to crap such as “the unity and sovereignty of Nigeria is absolutely, completely and irrevocably non-negotiable”. It is safe to say that those who believed in such a tosh have analytical skills of a toddler. The essence of insinuating that Diasporas should attempt to inject sanity into the polity of a country known as Nigeria is akin to pouring water on a stone in order to soften it. If Nigeria is one-thousandth of USA in development, I shall encourage the prosecution of anybody who calls for disintegration. Nigeria must first crawl before walking. I had thought Nigeria/Biafra was a lesson learned but had been proven wrong by the likes of you. |
Ola Johnson: Dede, what battles did you take part in during the civil war? There shall be no answers to such questions. |
debetmx: My dear deluded gull,It is safe to say imbecilic ninnies such as you have their style of sarcasm. Probably you were in your normal mood of sarcasm when you ignorantly copied and pasted "PROVOCATIONS" from Nowo Omoigiu craps titled Operation Aure. |
T8ksy: And here comes "Prof" Dede with his "conjectural" c.r.a.p!Aba had already fallen into the hands of the vandals before few field commanders of 3MCDO outfit lobbied to have Obasanjo replace Adekunle as the GOC. |
debetmx: Imaging an ibo man preaching humanity to us. If your fore-fathers had practiced what you are preaching in 2013, we would not had the stu.pid war. If your fore-fathers had practiced humanity they would not have cowardly killed the leaders of other regions while they spared theirs. The above post is another series of classic idiocies from a known imbecilic gull. Nowa Omoigui has cosigned your dusty brain to dust bin. It is apparent that disgraced Nowa Omoigui has to do needful. By the way, Lagos and Ibadan are the only two cities where crowd jubilations were recorded after January 15, 1966 coup. |
ilugunboy: My friend.Am sorry....I will withdraw it. It's really in bad taste.I have warned you not to cow-tail with dunces such as debetmx that could not recognize potentials placed on the ridge of his/her dirty nose. |
debetmx: The man who took the bullet in his a55 but wait where was the General of Aba?I guess you are a laughable dolt as evidenced by your silly posts. When the battle for Aba was fought, won and lost, Obasanjo was hiding somewhere in Ibadan eating Amala and Ewedu |
Sincere 9gerian: I expected you to be far more intelligent than that. You have just displayed shameful level of IGNORANCE.Are you insinuating that Enugu State has been singled out as culprit in the acts of dictating to the investors which particular local government area to invest? I guess one of the problems in Nigeria is innocuous knack for illogicality. In any enlightened society, governments are not meant to create jobs but create enabling conditions for private corporations to create jobs. In almighty USA, government jobs both on state and federal levels are anemically scarce. People shun at certain government-oriented projects because they are more or less welfare entities. |
The difference between you and several other millions of Nigerians is that you are fed up but they are not. We believe that we must join forces, minds, and resources to jointly solve out problems. As far as the BH issue is concerned, you need to review Azazi's statements about who is behind BH, while you are at it, do not forget that the President himself stated that there are BH members in his government and that he would expose them - we have been waiting for him to keep his word for almost a year now. The BH issue is much more complicated than what you call a "provocation by the North".
Sometimes, I tend to wonder where you left your thinking hat and marvel at certain logics you proffer. If someone is fed up with the crap called Nigeria and you are not, is it not normal for those who are outwardly fed up with the project to bail out? It is arrant nonsense or act of deceitfulness to talk about joining forces, minds, and resources to solve the problem of one section of Nigeria in order to impress the silly and utopian idea of “One-Nigeria”. When Muslims from northern and western regions of Nigeria were Head of State, CDS, COAS, CONS, COSA, all the military installations located in northern region, intakes to higher institutions including military academies are nepotistically skewed to favor one section of the country, all meaningful economic infrastructures are located in northern region of Nigeria, capital city moved to northern region, then suddenly Nigerian flag is decorated with deceitful inscription called “One-Nigeria”. However the moment there is a slight shift in the above mentioned paradoxes, Nigeria shall be made ungovernable via BH and Islamic religious unrest. Why would moronic dingbats who insist on drilling a drywell want those who are fed up to continue to participate in a useless exercise? The continuous participation in Nigeria is a useless exercise even a blind could see it. |
I had thought Fashola is a product of higher educational institute in Nigeria. |
