Katsumoto: I don't care for your opinion. Give me something that disproves my position. I don't care if you went to school with moses and were present at the presentation of the 10 ten commandments.
Of course, why would you care when you have goons as ordinance clapping and enjoying the concocted craps from you.

jp philips: you can't beat Katsumoto on peddling falsehood from Ade, didn't you notice how he smartly ignored regional govs verdict on Ademoyega, this was people who tried and jailed him with over whelming evidence, yet katsumoto believes Ademoyega was conned in his complicity.
Katsumoto has argued this crap with dede few years ago here on nairaland, even when dede told him he was there life, dede said his older brother was killed in his presence during the war.
if such a man could not convince Katsumoto, do you think you stand a chance?

he just wants the whole world to believe that the only westerner involved was conned.

I ignored him because I am convinced he is better off in his ignorance, I advise you do the same.
Bros it is unbelievable and I guess it is inherent. I read a crap posted on a previous thread by Katz stating that Ironsi’s advisers were limited to Igbo people such as Dr. Pius Okigbo, Chief Francis Nwokedi and Lt Col Patrick Anwunnah. I also have the link of the Nowa Omoigui’s crap where Katz lifted such fabricated nonsense. It is even funny that Lt Col Patrick Anwunah was not even among the team of Ironsi’s advisers. It is unfortunate most lazy goons feel extremely happy with such fabricated craps.

Katsumoto: 1. They could all see through Ojukwu's attempt at making the coup one Nigeria. They weren't at Aburi to decide the guilt of Kpera or anyone else. It was Ojukwu who was worried by a guilty conscience. As far as the Northerners were concerned, they had corrected a wrong, from their perspective, and didn't need to correct Ojukwu's tomfoolery. When real men are dicussing, they don't focus on irrelevant things.

2. Ademoyega was involved in the coup. A Brazilian playing for the Spanish national team doesn't make the Spanish team a Brazil-Spain team. Ademoyega was sold a dummy and that was why Ademoyega and Ifeajuna fought physically when they saw each other in prison after the coup failed. Ifeajuna had a list of those who were to be killed. This list included Mbadiwe, Wachuku, Okpara, Osadebey, Mbu. But lo and behold, Ademoyega realized that he was conned as none of those people was arrested let alone killed. The plotters were overwhelmingly Igbo and the victims were almost exclusively non-Igbo. They would have been forgiven for being almost exclusively Igbo if the victims included prominent Igbos as well. And then after the coup was over, Orizu refused to swear in the NPC candidate to replace Balewa saying he needed to consult with Zik first. After the consultation, he handed over to Ironsi, who was also Igbo.

3. Comparing Walbe and Kpera is really daft. Walbe was a part of a coup plot that succeeded. Not one of those who took part in the July coup was tried. Why would Walbe be singled out? Arresting Walbe would mean arresting everyone else - Mohammed, Adamu, Danjuma, etc. Who would arrest them? Kpera on the other hand followed instructions of his senior officer. The coup failed and his senior officer was arrested. Kpera wasn't the only one freed in any case.
The above analogies are akin to Nigerians. I did not know Igbo had army or armed forces. If I may follow this crap, “Ademoyega was involved in the coup. A Brazilian playing for the Spanish national team doesn't make the Spanish team a Brazil-Spain team”, it is likely the Spanish national team in reference is Nigerian army not Igbo army. A person with average intellect could easily discern that Spanish national team is Nigerian army and Ademoyega, Ifeajuna and Nzeogwu were national team players. .

Which unit of Biafran army did Achuzie command that spurred you to say Achuzie was outstanding?

Katsumoto: From the Special Branch Report

27. Major Ifeajuna addressed the meeting on the subject of the deteriorating situation in Western Nigeria to which, he contended, the politicians had failed to find a solution. He added that as a result the entire country was heading toward chaos and disaster. He next acquainted the junior officers with the inner circle's plans and asked them if they were prepared to assist to put an end to this state of affairs. Major Ifeajuna claims that all present pledged their support for his plans with the exception of Captain Adeleke who was, however, later persuaded to join. It was made clear to these junior officers that those who were not with the conspirators would be regarded as being opposed to them and might suffer death as a consequence.
I truly dislike the acts of copying and pasting craps from Nowa Omoigui and advancing them as gospels. I guess goofy Omoigui and you can not feel good without peddling rumors. It appears you want to argue with a man who was involved in the coup as a soldier and believe the nonsensical craps written by a person who was not even in Nigeria when the coup went down.

Katsumoto: Including Kpera amongst coup plotters is of the most idiotic reasoning. Nzeogwu told his boys they were on a training exercise. The exercise suddenly turns into a coup dead in the middle of the night. What were the boys supposed to do? See excerpt from Special Branch report about what Nzeogwu did to one who wasn't willing to participate.

147. Immediately inside the compound, Major Nzeogwu stationed the Carl Gustavs some 10 yards apart facing the lodge. The gunners were Sgts. Oyegeke and Manga, whilst Sgt. Adebiyi acted as ammunition number. As soon as both guns had been loaded, Major Nzeogwu ordered the NCOs to open fire at the Lodge. Both fired their projectiles bursting inside the ground floor rooms of the building. Sgt. Adebiyi stated that he then
ran towards Sgt. Manga to help this NCO reload. Whilst he was with Manga he heard Major Nzeogwu shouting repeatedly "Fire you bastard, fire". Immediately after this both Manga and Adebiyi heard a burst of SMG fire. They turned round and observed Sgt. Oyegoke slumped on the ground bleeding from multiple wounds. It was clear to both that their colleague had been killed by Major Nzeogwu either for refusing to obey or because he attempted to run away.

And here is Kpera's version (Kpera and many other soldiers were never tried for their participation in this coup. Kpera would rise to become a Governor and Brigadier)

Interviewer - Did you play any role in the first military coup in Nigeria which took place in 1966?
Kpera - Again I would like to refer you to my biography which is nearing completion. I was involved in that operation of January 14-15 1966 code named ‘operation Damisa’ which subsequently culminated into the coup. I did participate in it with my troops as a commander; I was a second lieutenant then. I didn’t plan the coup but I participated in the exercise ‘operation Damisa’ because there was no question of choosing not to participate in an exercise that your unit was involved in.
You seem to bounce off the wall with this silly “copy and paste” attitude. Were all the Igbo Second Lieutenants who participated in the “operation Damisa” also planned the coup or even get the whiff of the coup before January 15, 1966? Did their similar position as that of John Atom Kpera stop bigots such as you from branding them as coup plotters and Igbo for that matter?
Politics › Re: Col. Ben Gbulie, One Of The 1966 Coupists Speaks On The Coup And Awo by DerideGull(m): 10:02pm On Nov 15, 2013
jp philips: you missed the part where he referred to the 1961 date as a "movement", that parlance suggest an inevitable plan however, the machinery need to be set up first before the Agenda, The agenda was set to hatch when its evident they have a cause and someone whose ideology fits the profile. that was where Awolowo came in.

I dont agree with Gbulie's assessment of Achuzie.

Biafran col, Achuzie also known in the war front as the "Hannibal" recorded a lot of victories for the biafran side.

I know most people in Achuzie's command one on one, some of them are family friends, while some i have blood ties with, his reputation precedes him, Achuzie till date is referred to as Biafra's most gifted commander.

He was the one ojukwu tasked to prevent murtala mohammed's second division invasion into onitsha

ojukwu replaced two french mercenaries with Achuzie in the battle of Oji that speaks volume of his command abilities.from january to march 1968, his pocket troops held the Nigerian second division at Dunukofia stopping the Onitsha invasion on its tracks.

now remember that Murtala at the time was a col, and a civilian held him to ransome for 10 months, also note that murtala's second division was highly fortified with tanks and everything you can think of.
It was achuzie who came up with the strategy "theft in the night", where the Nigerian troops will be sleeping and biafra will send in thieves to steal all their food and arms which will be used to counter attack them in the morning.

Achuzie defeated leutenant inyang bassey's troop under murtalla's command in the battle of the Niger (an attempt to take over onitsha through Asaba), On murtalla's orders, again, Achuzie defeated col. Akini ladi in the battle of Onitsha bridge head, after these series of loses, murtalla mohammed was forced to retreat and went to bida to rendezvous with col. yaradua's troop at Nsukka and continued down to onitsha through ogidi then Nkpor

Also note that Onitsha fell in October 1968, while murtalla's first offensive on Onitsha was in January 1968. ten months, it took three cols to defeat a civilian Achuzie to take over onitsha with all the sophistication and fire power of the Nigerian side.
also note that by the time yaradua and murtalla started attacking from Nsukka, TY danjuma has already captured Enugu so it actually took three Nigerian cols commanding three divisions and all their gracious apparatchik, to defeat a civilian Achuzie to take over onitsha.

Unfortunately even in Wikipedia, people like Gbulie gave all the glory to Rolf steiner the mercenary who couldn't hold the Onitsha front in January when murtala's troops succeeded in taking over the onitsha main market.
that change in command saw a counter offensive by Achuzie who pursued the second Div Nigerian side beyond the Niger, a front that never fell till October 1968.
having encountered a strong resistance, col. murtalla Mohammed headed north to Bida.

The likes of Madiebo and gbulie envy his successes because he was not a soldier like them at the time, he was just a brilliant engineer who turned engineering science to war solutions.

Even after Onitsha fell, Achuzie was still not satisfied, he took a pocket of soldiers to Abagana where he laid an Ambush on an escorted 120 Nigerian lorry convoy carrying supplies, Achuzie's men one of them another brilliant Biafran Engr who developed the bucket bomb nicknamed "OGBUNIGWE". major Uchendu, Achuzie once again roasted this Nigerian troops alive, this attack, gave birth to the famous, "Abagana massacre" in the Nigerian Biafran war history.

Gbulie is too jealous to admit that a civillian could accomplish more than the so called soldiers. Another Gbulie's friend Alexander Madiebo, who served with him in the NA then the Biafran army was in command at Awka when his home town Awka was run over with the least resistance.

gbulie should tell us what he achieved in the biafran army with his "stanford' education, imagine saying, Danjuma wasn't brilliant because he didn't attend stanford what Nonsense.
I wont read any book written by this Gbulie of a person.

Bros please relax. Achuzie was never a soldier before the war. As Ben correctly stated, Achuzie can not be in every battle front at the same time. It gives reason to ask want unit of Biafran army did Achuzie commanded.

Prof Corruption: Who was that person?

Emmanuel Ifeajuna. The one in Kaduna , Nzeogwu. I think you know that one. Ifeajuna was holding a very big post in the Brigade then. He was a Chief of Staff to Maimalari. He sent a message that we had this meeting which would last a week; that I should come to Lagos . He was the one who booked me into Ikoyi Hotel in Room 17 and my number in the army was 17.. It was a lucky number for me. I got to Lagos for the meeting and then the meeting started on Monday. Then on Thursday, I can’t recall what happened in my hotel room. I just complained that I didn’t like the room. They couldn´t change it on Thursday. It was on Friday, the last day of the meeting that I came back to the hotel by 4.30 pm. When I got to the hotel, they had changed my room because they knew that the following day, I would leave. I said all right. Because of the cocktail party which Maimalari organised for us, we could not come back on time. I left the cocktail party at about 11 p.m when we should have left at 8.00 pm.There was no need for us to come on time. Although he called it a cocktail party, it was like a buffet dinner. So, I ate to my satisfaction and when I got to the hotel, I didn´t go to the dining room to eat again; I just went straight to my bed and slept off. It was at three o’clock that night that the coup plotters came. They killed my colleague, the one commanding the Western Region, and after putting his body in the booth of the car, they rushed to my room, to Room 17, to kill me thinking that I was there. According to their story, they didn´t want me to see them. So, when they kicked the door open, they just sprayed the bed with bullets and then round before they switched on the light. When they switched on the light, nobody was there and they started saying to themselves, “he is gone, he is gone” and I was snoring downstairs. That was how, at least, I can tell that God saved me from the coup. Now, for Gowon.

Why would anybody want to kill David Ejoor, the dirty ar.se Urhobo, who had no command of anything and never sought himself out before he died a miserable death? David Ejoor once said “we should allow northerners to assume political power in Nigeria and at the same assume economic power. I laughed the dude to a bloody jackass and wondered who goon was thinking when sheepishly handed the northerners the keys to his barn. I also asked the dumbass fool who are “we” in his goofy statement.

I will not even touch the nonsensical crap such as “The senior person to me in Nigeria was Bassey, the second was Aguiyi Irons” voiced by the useless fellow. I guess he was also senor to Ademulegun, Ogundipe, Adabayor, Kur Mohammed, Maimalari, Nwawo, Shodeinde, Njoku, Effiong, etc. .

abinistyy: ODUAHGATE, ETHNICITY AND THE CHALLENGE OF A NATION

Ever since the #225M Aviation vehicles scandal involving the Minister of Aviation, Ms Stella Oduah became public, it has attracted lots of commentaries, reactions, protests and debates across the length and breadth of the country.

A regular follower of the Nigerian social media space will testify to the fact that it has been a trending topic for the past few weeks. One disturbing scenario that however caught my attention is the attempt by some elements to introduce ethnic sentiments into the whole issue.

In the view of these unpatriotic elements, the Minister was being ‘persecuted’ in other to ‘harass’ the Igbos while others believe it was an orchestrated plan to score political points against the President.

According to a report by a newspaper recently, Hundreds of Youths under the aegis of Igbo Progressive forum (IPF) took to the streets of Enugu to protest calls for the sacking of Oduah. According to their Leader, Emeka Agbo, they alleged that a cabal was behind the calls for her sack and vowed to go the whole hog to ensure that the cabal doesn’t succeed.

According to him, ‘’this is a woman that has given the aviation sector a new face since she came into office. Today, our airports can compete with airports in foreign countries.’’
Speaking further, he said ‘’before she came into office, we were hearing about international airport but today, it has become a reality in Igboland. We are ready to swim and sink with her’’. Also, Stella’s Kinsmen led by High Chief George Nwabueze also alleged that the calls for her sack were an attempt to rubbish the President ahead of the 2015 elections!

In another report, a group which called itself ‘Igbo Ekulie’ in a statement by its president and Secretary Joey Chuku and Okechukwu Okeke respectfully alleged that the public outcry against Oduah was a calculated attempt by some powerful individuals to marginalise the Igbo Nation in the scheme of governance and that it portends great danger for the political future of Ndi-Igbo and Nigeria in general. The group also posited that since past corruption cases involving notable public officials in the country were swept under the carpet, then Oduah’s case should not be different.

According to them, ‘’ we are sounding a note of warning to those behind this evil agenda and marginalisation of the Igbo Nation in the Nigerian Nation to desist forthwith and leave Princess Stella Oduah alone because if their plot succeeds, it makes political future of Ndi-igbo and the entire Nigeria very uncertain and precarious’’

When did Nigeria become such that we have completely lost our Values? When did corruption become something that we measure based on the region where such an individual comes from? Corruption is corruption anywhere irrespective of the gender, tribe, or political party involved and so should be treated as such. It is even more shameful that youths who should be at the vanguard of the war against corruption are the ones being used to justify it. Corruption is the number one factor militating against the growth and development of Nigeria and so it is a scourge which we need to eliminate from the society and not to play around it.

The spin doctors of Ms Oduah have been blowing her perceived achievements of renovating our airports as reason why she should be allowed to stay in Office. This is an aberration of the highest proportion!. Planes are dropping from our skies and yet some fellows want us to believe that this is inconsequential as long as the lush green environments of our airports are maintained!
What is the essence of renovating the airports when stoways, crashes have been pronounced during the tenure of such an individual? In any sane country, Minister Oduah would have resigned long ago but this is Nigeria where we sacrifice merit and competency on the altar of politics and primordial sentiments.

One thing that surprises me is the way we are quick to link corruption cases and trials of public office holders to be the handi-work of some perceived enemies. Corruption cases involving Public office holders like former Speaker Dimeji Bankole, Former Governor Gbenga Daniel, former Governor Adamu Abdullahi and others have been whittled down because of political interests and it is likely that Oduah’s case might follow similar pattern if the Presidency does not mutter enough political will to prosecute Oduah and those involved in the ridiculous Armoured vehicles saga.

Just last week, Ghana’s Deputy Communications Minister, Ms Victoria Hannah was fired for allegedly saying on audio-tape that she would not quit politics until she had made $1m. When the allegations came up backed up with the audio-tape, there was no need to set up endless committees neither did we have some ethnic jingoist carrying placards that she should not be fired!. She was relieved of her appointment within 24 hours of the leakage of the audio tape. Common sense prevailed and everybody is going about their normal business. If a minister could be fired in neighbouring Ghana for even contemplating to make money in politics, not that shge has stolen public funds, how much more our Dear Country where corruption and abuse of Office stares many public officials in the face?

Any attempt at linking Oduah’s case with the alleged ambition of President Jonathan in 2015 falls flat of reasoning and should be ignored by all well-meaning Nigerians. It is a link that is non-existent and as such should be disregarded by all lovers of democracy. This is purely a case of abuse of office and so, should be treated as such.

This should also serve as a wake up call for the Government to dust up all the files of corrupt public officials which will reassure the public that there are no sacred cows when it comes to corruption. Corruption is the number one factor militating against our development as a Nation and the earlier we start to address it irrespective of whose ox is gored, the better for us.

As the Nation awaits the National Assembly and anti corruption agencies to do the needful in this case, Nigerians are hopeful that reason and Justice will prevail over politics, ethnic and primordial sentiments.

The above junk is another attempt to be smart by a bloody fool who does not know the connotation of the word-corruption. Since the minister is an Igbo, ordinary coughing is regarded as corruption by certain goons in Nigeria.

I had suggested that NCAA should have bought armored Rolls Royce for ministry aviation that often entertains foreign dignitaries in the aviation industry.

You are a person!

So we should leave such an irresponsible person (whom you claim is not corrupt, just incompetent) to waste more billions by paying 4 times the true value of the projects?

Sometimes I feel like using few unflattering words to qualify your lack of knowledge. And in most cases, I had to apply restraints because few human beings are regrettable interlopers.

When Ken Saro-Wiwa went to Government College, Umuahia and University of Ibadan on Shell scholarship meant for another Ogoni chap who could not afford the school fees, Shell BP was okay. gratieao: President Goodluck Jonathan and the House of Representatives may clash over the probe into the purchase of two bulletproof cars for the Minister of Aviation, Ms Stella Oduah, by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

SUNDAY PUNCH learnt that Jonathan had no intention of acting on the recommendation of the House committee that probed the scandal.

The NCAA had reportedly paid about N255m for the two bulletproof BMW 760 Li cars. While appearing before the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation in Abuja on Thursday, the NCAA admitted that the Ministry of Aviation approved the purchase of the cars for Oduah. But Oduah had denied any wrongdoing, but blamed her aides and the acting Director General of the NCAA for the scandal.

The House had recommended that Jonathan should sack the minister for exceeding the official limit in approving the purchase of the two bulletproof cars while sanctions were also recommended for the former acting Director General of NCAA, Nkemakolam Joyce, and the agency’s Director of Finance, Salawu Ozigi.

The panel also reportedly sought for the immediate termination of a loan agreement of N643, 088,25 to finance the purchase of 54 vehicles (including the armoured vehicles) between the NCAA and the First Bank of Nigeria; Coscharis Motors Limited is to be asked to refund the N255m meant for the bulletproof vehicles while the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission should investigate the company for alleged abuse of waivers.

It also called on Nigerians to mount necessary pressure to ensure the probe of Oduah. It made the call after the Presidency told SUNDAY PUNCH on Friday that it was not under any obligation to implement the probe report that indicted Oduah.

A very reliable source in the Presidency told one of our correspondents on Friday that the President was not legally bound to act on the recommendations.

The source said if Jonathan had wanted to act on the report, he would not have bothered to set up a three-man administrative panel headed by a former Head of Service of the Federation, Mr. Sali Bello, to probe the same matter.

He stated that the President knew from inception that a lot of interests would play out in the House of Representatives probe, hence his decision to set up his own probe panel.

He said, “I am sure you are aware that the President also set up an administrative panel to probe this matter.

“If he has confidence in the House of Representatives probe and is duty-bound to implement its resolution, he would not have bothered to set up a separate probe panel.

“The position of this government from inception has been that the resolutions of the National Assembly should be seen strictly as what they are: they are simply advisory and the President is not legally bound to implement them.

“Let us all wait for the President’s administrative panel to conclude its work and see whether he will implement the report or not.”

The House, however, expressed no surprise about the Presidency’s alleged disposition to its recommendations.

“It is the duty of the Executive to implement reports; if they say they will not implement, it is left to Nigerians to judge,” House spokesman, Mr. Zakari Mohammed, said.

“In plenary, we shall take a formal position on the matter. We will respond to the Presidency appropriately. We would have been surprised if they accepted to implement the report.”

Mohammed further accused the Presidency of deliberately shunning the House resolutions.

“There are 36 bills passed by the National Assembly awaiting presidential assent, which has not been done. They don’t act on our resolutions; that we know. It is left to Nigerians to judge; it is their turn to decide,” he said.

The conspicuous ride of idiocy as shown in the above article is one the reasons I vehemently call for disintegration of Nigeria. I can not continue to regards the hammerheads as compatriots. For umpteenth time, NCAA did not buy armored BMW cars for Princess Stella Oduah. NCAA bought the cars for operational duties within the rim of ministry of aviation.

What is hard for goons on Punch staff not to understand between ministry of aviation and minister of aviation? NCAA bought the cars for the operations carried out by the ministry of aviation. Why would NCAA buy armored BMW cars for Stella Oduah? Are the cars for her birthday gifts?

0monnakoda: Mr Dull who registers parties. Is it Ohanaezehuh Is there a law governing party registration? Olagunsoye will be the National Secretary if the Supreme Court does not reverse this ruling.
I do not think the law that requires the registration of political parties also requires the structure of their executive office holders. Some political parties may decide not to have the office of National Secretary while others do. You have been a disappointment of late though.
Mr. Gull, I think you should educate yourself about the political process in Nigeria before making patently false statements like the one above. If the courts cannot do what you inferred, why do you think there has been a court case in the first place? If the lawsuit were frivolous it would have been thrown out by now.

For you sake and for the sake of your dear party PDP/APGA, you better hope that the supreme court does not rule against PDP. My sources say that even the supreme court is tired of the clueless one and his accompanying needful doers. The court is poised to reinstate Oyinlola.

When that happens, even you should start considering joining Buhari and APC.
Is it only in Nigeria political parties operate? Why is Nigeria’s political process different from the one it claims to mimic? Political parties everywhere on earth have working documents, national executive committees and secretariats. If national or state political party office holder is found unacceptable to the political organization, such individual is removed from office through disciplinary mechanism setup by political party.

If the intended office holder does not like the decision of the party, he/she can join another political party or remain as independent or yet remain a loyal party member.

All these frivolous law suits in Nigeria stemming from disagreements with political party memebers tend to corrupt the judiciary system in my view.

Ola Johnson: No head of state would preside over the disintegration of his country. Keeping the country united is what he, either through a constitution or a decree, swore to do. The best option for Ojukwu would have been appraoching the UN for self determination.
The dark sides of Awolowo’s free educational system in western region of Nigeria are being loathed on this forum and suddenly you decided to increment the odds. The people of eastern region of Nigeria were been killed in other regions of Nigeria and were asked to relocate to eastern region by irate crowds supported by indigenous folks in uniform. When the easterners obliged to relocate to eastern region yet Gowon initiated a war against them.

If the best option for Ojukwu was to approach the UN for self determination, may I ask you in what capacity?

Omokanda.

You seem to embrace above “copy and paste” crap but lacked simple courage to investigate the issue of the song, “ewu na ebe akwa”. You are a dunce because your actions show intelligence without discipline.

CyberG: I will advise that everyone dede1 (deridegull), he brings nothing to any debate and in fact lowers the quality of intellectual debates. He is still dazed and perhaps mentally damaged by the blunt force trauma of 1967 - 1970 Biafra war and his PTSD kicks in high gear whenever he hears the name of Chief Awolowo, Nigeria or related actors or events. dede1, just go and sleep, everything you've said has been shaited upon.
Cyberfool,

Do you expect me to join you in a childish debate of emptiness such as true federalism or false federalism? Such classless banters are left for inconsequential political minnows such as you. Nigeria must disintegrate in order for people of various nation states to embrace socio-politico-economic growth. All these idiotic talks of federalism, regionalism and confederacy are deceitful maneuvers that have no useful time in Nigeria today.

An honest Nigerian must agree that disintegration of Nigeria into nation states is a sure way out of current socio-politico-economic doldrums in the country.

Omokanda

You posited another red flag on Awolowo’s free educational system in western region of Nigeria. Fuji is a tribally bent music. While “ewu na ebe akwa” is none tribally bent music but highlife. Though sang in Igbo language, it was not thoughtful product of Igbo man, olodo. You are going from bad to worse.

0monnakoda: What is this one saying huh

That is one way of telling the story. Another way is to remember a group of people who thought they were so clever they could take over control of Nigeria and dominate by force. They conducted a sham "revolution" killing the political leaders of others and spared theirs. They then installed one of theirs as Military ruler while their people gloated and taunted other ethnic groups even making a record "ewu na ebe akwa" and singing taunting songs in barracks and the North.
Eventually the North reacted in a vengeful and brutal counter coup conducting a pogrom against them. Wounded they decided to secede by force even though they had no external allies and no means to prosecute a doomed and emotional enterprise. In conducting their secession they chose to abduct other ethnic minorities in the Eastern region against their will and then also carried out aggressive and unprovoke attacks into the Western Region.
Above crap is one of the ills associated with the so-called “free education” introduced by Awolowo in western region of Nigeria. I am not surprised that the poster is still wallowing foolishly on propaganda and innuendoes spearheaded by the news media houses based in western region in 1967 to cover silly acts of the citizens of the region.

It will pay you enough dividends to know your god in Nowa Omogiu, one of the idiotic exponents of the crap surrounding the record "ewu na ebe akwa" and alleged taunting”, has been shamed on the issue. The artist of the record was not even Igbo person talk less of the act of taunting. It is silly to hear and see most southern Nigerians, baring Biafrans, talk about idiotic nature of Nigeria and wish it never existed. I have always referred such goons to their forebearers who fought Biafrans to erect a cesspit called Nigeria.

If the so-called south-east zone which ethnically homogeneous in nature is tapped for such goofy regional arrangement, why not a nation such as Republic of Igbo land instead of a region where center of government is yet located somewhere outside the region? I want total disintegration of Nigeria where people from Igbo land would go for any form of government be it communism, republicanism, democracy, monarch, oligarchy and decide how power should be dissolved.

If the Republic chooses to spend its entire fund on building airports with runways longer than 10KM, I say so be it. If the people decide to close down all schools due to high number of graduates without job or lack thereof, they can simply have it. If the people decide to jettison everything about European and go Boko Haram, so be it. If the people decide to close down all the churches and mosques because they want to go back to “Ofo na Aja”, I say so it should be.

I know most Igbo chaps in Diaspora who would want to come back to the Republic of Igbo land to contribute towards the growth of the country on Pro bono. Republic of Igbo land could give away its crude oil in order to achieve unity and patriotism based on vision, imagination and unbeatable courage.
LOL.

I say to you WITH ALL BOLDNESS that the SE will never support such new system.

When you look at the proportional revenue generation of all the regions made to the center in this country, I dont think by now you shouldnt know that the SE trails behind all other regions except the NE.

May I ask:

-If SE (ibos) were actually content with the system of regionalism & resourse control that prevailed in the early times before current unitary system was urshered in, why would Zik be a protagonist of equal distribution of wealth throughout the federation, the very move vehemently opposed by Awo of AG then?

-If the Ibos trully wanted this same regionalism, why should it be a Nzeogu, an Ibo for that matter, that would upset the status quo that operated with SO MUCH EASE, even without the North contented with how things were then?

Omonaakoda, one thing most of us on NL have not realized about these Ibos is the hypocrisy displayed by most of them here. I can tell you categorically that more than half of the Igbos would rather splash into the deep than see this 'Nigeria' split like flames.

Dont mind the lies most of them propagate here on NL. Most of them know what awaits them at home in a new Biafra is like a chicken coming home to roast.

.....Ever wondered why the likes of them here found their ways to Lag, IB & d likes?

.....Ever wondered why TOO MANY of them can speak Yoruba (but fake 'yoruba' sha)?

.....Ever wondered why they are always quick to lump Akwa Ibom, CR & d whole Rivers states as part of their Biafra?

BRO, All is DECEIT. ! Ibos you see on NL are just pretending bro. They know its gonna' be hell back home for them, trust me.!!!
Wise people are known to have believed in the saying that “the taste of pudding is in the eating”. I remembered the group of people in Nigeria that were besieged with war of attrition because they wanted out of damnable country. It is true lack of retentive memory plays delusional tricks on people. The saying can not truer than your silly pontifications on this discussion.
