One of the worst things to befall Imo State is the election of Rochas Okorocha as governor of the state. I suggest to Mr. Governor that judiciary courts are open in Imo State and are happily willing to entertain lawsuits brought by the government against the so-called contractors for breach of contract. The Rochas Okorocha’s talk of invitation of EFCC, SSS and Police to Imo State over alleged contractual breaches by contractors, if any, is an idiotic attempt at obfuscation. |
T8ksy: Typical prof dede, blowing so much grammar whilst saying absolutely nothing in particular.I am very much at home with your patented denial antics. |
Gorrbachev: What a fool, Said all this and made no single point. Diboh/Nkiru, you are an absolute fool. SMHI shall consider myself a walking dead if an empty-headed dog such as you understood what I wrote. |
Katsumoto: Please don't go. Lets have fun at the spare parts dealer.Who is more delusional, the loudmouthed jackass who will rush out to marry rejects left by the alleged spare part dealer and throw Owambe merriment or spare part dealer? |
@OP Ranting of an ant!!! If PDP loses the electoral contest, what is the big deal? It is only in Nigeria that a goon such as Tambuwal addresses his audience on a subject titled “Leadership in Developing Democracies: A Nigerian Perspective” yet tries to fan political frenzy of disorder by insinuating PDP is formed to rule forever. |
If even she did write the alleged letter, I say so what? In the alleged letter, Farida Waziri was even professional and thanks goodness she did not leave any room for ambiguity. |
Whenever the tenets of social order and principles of democracy is tested anywhere in this country, trust that SW will respond in defense of society, There has never been a time in the history of this country since 1914 that the Yorubas have not spoken up or stood up, at great risks and when others are intimidated, to act as the activist and defender of human liberty and right to live. In the worst instance, the July coup and the war, Yoruba did not shed Ibo blood, even while still grieving the massacre of Yoruba sons and a daughter in the hands of cold blood Igbo murderers just six months earlier. A Yoruba Governor stood up with his life against what was wrong and ended up killed along with his Igbo guest. Yoruba leaders sent wire and ordered that all Ibos must be rounded up and deported, before their predator come after them and spill their blood in Yorubaland. When Biafra attacked Yoruba soil, the same voices that shielded them from predators also called for a defense of the soil against Ibo takeover. When the war ended, these leaders were also responsible for ensuring that every returning Ibo with "proof" of property or investment got their entitlement returned to them in full. What can be more honorable and admirable than a stand for justice and fairness even in one's own discomfort ? Similarly, post the war, whether in military or civilian governments Yoruba remained the conscience and custodian of social order for this country. There are too many to itemize, let's fast forward. Ibos are redefining their political identity and space within a changing awareness and ideology in the Eastern quarter and they are hoping, at most, that their legacy political majority is still intact sufficiently that they can carry everyone else in that quarter along with them in an emerging restructuring along economic independence and political self-sufficiency, particularly given the sour history with neighbors and against the tide of a newly discovered political brat - the Ijaws! Therefore, it is imperative that when the honor of political institutions are tested, SE leaders ought to fit in and demonstrate a resolve to lead and carry their quarter of the nation. A Goverment House was besieged and the democratically elected Governor barricaded from entering his abode, denied access and right of way into seat of Government; this happened right in that quarter of the nation where Ibos are the supposed political kings...yet, not a single outrage from the Governors of SE. Can this sort of thing happen in Yorubaland without a massive blow out on radio, tv, news print and march onto public squares? Never! Will the real Eastern leaders please speak up!
This is not the first time you have rascally demonstrated the mentality of a fellow who has issues with good knowledge of events and how they relate to human beings. I suggest you go back to school. There is no doubt your propagandist forbearers did not teach you that characters such as Chief Rami Fani-Kayode, Mr. Lalekan Salami, Mr. O Falade, Alhaji Busari Obisean, Chief B Olowofoyeku and Chief A Adeyi assisted the soldiers from northern region of Nigeria in killing indigenes of eastern region in general and Ndigbo in particular. There is no doubt a felon such as you did not know that in democratic setting, rule of law reigns supreme. Law and order are respecter of nobody yet there are limited and unending avenues to seek a redress. In USA, when ordinary county police chief closes a road, even the president of the country will either re-route or seek alternate remedy to address the situation quietly. I guess moronic sycophants such as you, with skewed stream of thought what democracy is, have given the jokers called governors in Nigeria the alacritous platform to think of themselves as Emperors instead of elected servants of the states. |
This thread represents one of the the silliest postulations so far on this forum. The reason SW (Yoruba) is waging war on GEJ is simple and it is called tribal bigotry. |
The mindset of certain posters who had commented on the issue of Police and Governor of River State explains why the goons called governors in Nigeria feel they are demigods. The moronic dingbats travel in excessive convoys and act irresponsibly. I really do not think Nigeria needs governors and senators. |
@OP Ribadu is a typical Nigerian fool and exemplifies one of the major drawbacks that besieged Nigeria. It is a shame most Nigerians pay attention to a fraud such as Ribadu. If anybody is a cheap liar seeking any relevance on this matter, I guess knucklehead such as Nuhu Ribadu takes the lead whose appointment as chairman of EFCC was orchestrated by the misaligned polity seen only in Nigeria. Mrs. Fraida Waziri, as a Commissioner of Police, CP, headed special police units where Nuhu Ribadu served as a mere desk investigator. This jackass named Nuhu Ribadu never made a Commissioner of Police yet was promoted to AIG by a fellow fraud who saw the reputation of fraudulence in him. |
Eledan: Dede...Since you have concluded I hate Nigeria and its inhabitants, I suggest you proffer the reasons for the hatred. |
Eledan: Mods....Why should it be banned? Is Nigeria not a home of deceitful and loudmouthed creatures? |
@OP I guess deceitfulness and loudmouth are common among certain creatures in Nigeria. Simply put, Atiku was never the choice of Olusegun Obasanjo. Atiku was the candidate of Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri and Nupe of northern region of Nigeria. |
To tempt the loudmouthed bigots to act since they warned that a vote for GEJ will mark the end of Nigeria. I simply want the disintegration of Nigeria. The load of crap called Nigeria has stayed far too long already. |
gbanikiti: Idris Wada na fine man! I couldn't stop staring at him when he talked at the last economic summit. I don't know why good looking men flirt a lot.You are the reason!!!! |
@OP Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the president of Nigeria, is not a failure or despot. Nigerians, especially those moronic dingbats, who sworn to make Nigeria ungovernable if GEJ wins and also the inherent tribal bigots who saw no good from a person not hailing from SW, NW or NE of Nigeria as president. It is even unfortunate that the bigoted cabals do not care about the farm hands, the minority ethnic groups in southern Nigeria, which rendered quantifiable assistance during the civil war that has enabled the bigoted goons to form skewed sense of endowment in leadership of a jungle called Nigeria. There is nobody in APC who is more qualified or suited to govern Nigeria than GEJ period. The assumed fellow from Bayelsa State should have his\her priority straight. If the chap thinks GEJ will turn Yenegoa into Lagos or Abuja, he\she is a bigger fool than I thought. Most of the things in Nigeria are fraudulent and stood up for such purpose including the creation of certain states. |
pheesayor: Given the subject and issue that I intend to write about in this piece; taken together with my name; it is important to make some urgently needed clarifications right at the start! It is unfortunate Nigeria is filled to the brink with con artists which included the writer of above crap. I am flabbergasted the writer does not understand the connotation of phrase “Niger Delta”. I have maintained the polity of Nigeria pivots on ethnicity. Any attempt by political ingrate to hoodwink an undiscerning onlooker by hiding behind the crap such as “Niger Delta” to poke a political joke on Nigerian society is idiocy. I had been happy if losers such as the writer of the said article, who tend to latch on unworthy phrases such as Niger Delta, would project the political shortfalls of their states or ethnicities rather than unfounded region. States were created in Nigeria to avoid political and idiotic ambiguities bordering on regions or unfounded political encampments. For example, shameless loser in the person of author of this article has made this pronouncement: “So was this what we fought for? Was this the reason why the Ogoni Bill of Rights; the Kiaima Declaration of Ijaw Youths; and the Manifesto of the Chikoko Movement were made/proclaimed/issued?” Anybody who has atom of sense or knowledge of the area erroneously regarded as “Niger Delta” will understand how untruthfully the writer seemed to appear. The facts remain that Ogoni or Ijaw do not represent or are the sole inhabitants of politically manufactured region known as Niger Delta. I wonder the profile of individuals who will pay any attention to the author and his\her piece of junk. |
The one you quoted has forgotten where kidnapping holds sway in the country! ...he's trying hard to defend who the real kidnappers are in Nigeria!
At least, there is a huge difference between ordinary kidnappers and “skirt snappers”. |
Afam4eva: Spot on! We seem to be the only ones always looking for the saint in our midst to represent us whereas it seems other parts of Nigeria keep rallying behind their very worst as the Nigeria of today has mandated them to do. While i'll like to see the likes of Utomi, Anyaoku, Iweala, Akunyili, Soludo represent us, i think we should not throw away the dogged fighters like Rochas and Kalu because if you look at the prominent people from other regions, they're worse than these two. It's only Igbos that don't seem to understand Nigeria very well. We keep playing kindergarten politics while others are currently earning their PHD.It is abysmally wrong for anybody to think Nidgbo are looking for saints among them. As you have tempted to draw skewed analogies to this discussion through unfortunate insinuation, I would like to point out the difference between Yar adua and Okorocha. At least both characters were, for a moment, the chief executive officers of their respective states. Yar adua never substituted community crap for legally constituted local government because the chairmen were not PDP. Yar adua did not unseat the chairman of council of emirs in the state because the chair did not support Yar adua’s political ambitions. Yar adua never neglected any local government area because an indigene of the local government is a potential political opponent. Yar adua never falsely orchestrated the kangaroo-styled impeachment of his deputy because of financial and political gains. There was no single parastatal in Katsina State handed over to Yar adua’s cronies during his stewardship. Yar adua did not divert the printing equipment that belongs to Katsina State to his own printing business situated in a sister state. I must say that analogy of kindergarten and Phd is a silly attempt at obfuscation. Until the so-called Igbo chaps whom the Ndigbo saw to the corridor of power understand politics is all local, they will be sojourners after their tenures. |
Afam4eva: Funny article with some truths in it. What the writer is just trying to say is that Igbos still don't know how politics in Nigeria works. What truth are you talking about? The author of a junk who could not get his\her premise straight yet you talk about some truths. |
asha 80: i thought that roundabout is to be situated at anara junction not amaraku?also is he dualizing that road(owerri to anara) as i told earlier or is he just putting round abouts at specific junctions?Bros I suggest you diminish overbearing and unfounded postulations. |
Abagworo: Dede you got me cracking on that one. I seem to agree with you for the 1st time. What is needed at intersection of highways is bridges and not roundabouts. I think the aim is more of beautification than easing traffic. The problem of Africans, particularly Nigerians, resides in their mind that lacked power of positive articulation. I have given up on my people seriously. Americans say disciplined people make healthy society. I guess a beautification that will bring sorrow and agony in future. Just imagine a scenario of a tanker laden with combustible substance and driven by an irresponsible driver who forgot to check the functionality of the brakes could set the entire community on fire. Remember that fire service does not exist in Nigeria. |
Babasessy: They are rogues. They are selfish opportunists. They stole and still stealing from us. All they did was promise and promise all the time. Yes you are right, call them thieves again. After the first three paragraphs of the above nonsensical crap, it downed on me the writer is an academical fraud. From the first paragraph, an undiscerning onlooker will assume the joker is a resident of Imo State but while on third paragraph he or she begins to show true colors. How could an articulate fellow write junks based on told stories? In the world of fools, art works on circles are regarded as infrastructural development. It is high time Nigeria placed a gag order on misuse of words or phrases. The abuse of certain phrases in Nigeria has to be stopped. I recently hard an unfortunate discussion with a fellow from Amaraku, Isiala Mbano LGA who seemed happy the street tout called Roachas Okorocha is building a circle in the middle of trunk A road linking Owerri with Okigwe at Orie Amaraku. How could anybody with first day lecture in Civil Engineering via transportation allow a goon such as Okorocha to contemplate situating a circle at the middle of a major carriageway? I guess the problem of Africans is inherent. |
Yoruba hates others, but Ibo hates himself. Iboman kidnaps his own father and mother and sells them. Iboman joins company to carry flag of hatred and bloodshed against his own people. Thank God Yorubaman loves his people and hates others. If Iboman could stop selling his family and relatives he would prosper on his own land and not be a destitute and refugee in Yorubaman land. Do these slaves look like Yoruba to you?
Mayor of Kirikiri You can not be a metropolitan dogcatcher talk less of a mayor when you do not know your formative history. Please checkout the progenitors of gbomogbomo, olodo. |
Only brain-dead fools perceive any form of political arm-twisting of the Jonathan by the so-called northerners. |
Great numbers of moronic dingbats are playing with incendiaries that will consume them and reduce Nigeria to historical object. I never knew foolishness could be created through the word-impeach. |
herbdull: You must really have a dead brain... jobs, positions Okorocha occupiedYou are as dull as your handle name suggested. Enjoy your newly found love in Wiki. |
Nigeria needs to be disbanded. When did Ijo, of all ethnicity, become an entity in a metaphoric expression in Nigeria? |
