Right from day one, I don't and will never support this IPOB Biafra thing. YES I am a proud Nwa afor Igbo.
It is an agitation borne out of delusion by that albino jewish scammer.
Just take a look at their deluded map! Even they have added kogi and benue to their map.
Oh! Where are the Igbo leaders?
That albino scammer want to put Igbo lives and properties in danger again.
He must be stopped! Pls FG Re-Arrest Nnamdi Kanu again.
Thunder fire that idiot, a scammer who want to risk Igbo lives and properties.
There is danger ahead.
IGBOS Can't fight a civil war again, it will be fatal
why do these Ipobs want to destroy what the Igbos have worked to build up since 1970? Why being bitter that Buhari won an election?
Igbo youths, I beg you, you can't win any confrontation with the North.
Every ethnic group in Nigeria are paranoid and suspicious of Igbos.
if war breaks out, Ijaws, Ogonis, Urhobos, Efiks etc will NOT help you. BE WISE.
Ndigbo can fight wars over and over again until the hell freezes over. I do not know about your intellectual pedigree but it is said that no country survives two civil wars. War or no war, the survival of Nigeria is slim and none. As for every ethnic group suspicious of Igbo remains their cup of tea. Ndigbo do not give a hoot about other ethnics' paranoia or suspicion.

ukomko:
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed that those saying no to the creation of Biafra and Oduduwa, are “making war inevitable”.

He stated this in response to Senator Shehu Sani’s remarks, that the people behind the Biafran agitation “are a new generation of young men and women, who have not experienced war and have not suffered from the war and have not seen the consequences of wars.”

Dino Melaye allegedly caught on tape, revealing how he framed suspects in assassination attempt

Fani-Kayode however insists that the two entities must be separated from Nigeria or there will be war.

He wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday:”Those agitating for BIAFRA have not seen WAR” – Sen. Sheu Sani.

“Those that are saying no to BIAFRA and ODUDUWA are making WAR inevitable.”

why is it that some factions of the biafran agitation are quick to claim the niger delta as their own?

the reason is that this agitation is about selfishness and hate.

Politics › Re: I Am Full-blooded Idoma (FBI) Not Biafran (picx) by DerideGull(m): 8:08pm On Jun 06, 2017
kayez:
I am Full-Blooded Idoma (FBI) and proudly so. The unalloyed loyalty of the Idoma people was demonstrated during the Nigerian civil war. It is a widely known fact that but for the gallantry of the Idomas, Tivs, and other ethnic nationalities from Plateau and old Gongola States the Nigerian civil war would have being squarely lost by Federal troops.

And this special group of people have not reneged their loyalty, not just yet; a loyalty to the greater picture of that strong, virile and prosperous Nigeria.

It therefore appalled my imagination that one Nnamdi Kanu and his group of misguided IPOB elements will conceive in their wildest imagination that Idomaland is part of the imprudent campaign for a Biafran Republic. GOD FORBID!

Now, I grew up to appreciate my Idoma heritage. We are predominantly hardworking farmers by nature and known for our loyalty for whatever we believe in.

The Idoma people inhabit the lower western areas of Benue State, and our kindred are found in Cross Rivers, Enugu and Nasarawa States. The Idoma language is classified in the Akweya subgroup which includes Alago, Agatu, Etulo and Yala languages of Benue, Nasarawa and Northern Cross River states. The bulk of the territory is inland, South of River Benue.

We are renowned farmers, warriors and hunters of class, but hospitable and peace-loving as well. For instance, the Idoma woman is the most beautiful and cultured lady you can find anywhere in the country. They are home stabilizers and extremely loyal to their marriage covenant.

One of the greatest advantages the Idoma people had during the colonization of various ethnic groups was the fact that Idomaland remained largely unknown to the West until the 1920s, leaving much of the colorful traditional culture of the Idoma intact.

From the Nigerian civil service, to the Nigerian military and security services, to politics, the Idoma nation has produced some of the finest citizens Nigeria can boast of. The contribution of this special breed of people to national development and unity is second to none and unrivalled in the middle belt region of Nigeria.

Infact, while various groups clamour for the balkanization of the country along ethnic and religious lines, I can boldly say that there has never been a time we had a secessionist group in the entire Idomaland. The Idoma man is indeed a true Nigerian who believes in the indivisibility of the nation.

How then did Nnamdi Kanu and his band of renegade agitators arrived at the conclusion that Idomaland is part of the so called Biafra Republic? Were we consulted? Did our people ever express the desire to secede from Nigeria? What really is the connection between Idomaland and the Biafra agitation?

Yes I agree that there is the proximity in land mass. But it is on record that Idoma and Igbo ethnic groups are two (2) distinct nationalities. We have nothing in common politically. I agree that Igbo traders still patronize major Idoma markets in Agatu, Otukpo, Otukpa and other parts of Idomaland; and that is where it ends.

I am therefore using this medium to sound a note of warning and call to attention that the peace-loving people of Idomaland HAVE NEVER and will NEVER be a part of IPOB’s propaganda campaign. Nnamdi KANU and his apologists should as a matter of urgency REMOVE IDOMALAND from the purported map of Biafra Republic, and should SEIZE henceforth to directly or indirectly refer to any of its part in their insidious and sinister campaigns.

For Kanu’s information, the Idoma people in the face of provocation are still very much ready to defend their identity against the antics of intruders and misguided miscreants and apologists of the unrealistic pursuit of a Biafra Republic.

I therefore call on all Idoma sons and daughters to rise and renounce the shenanigan of Kanu and his group of IPOB brigands.

I AM FULL-BLOODED IDOMA #FBI and proudly so.

Politics › Re: Low Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) In Southeastern States: A Cause For Alarm by DerideGull(m): 7:56pm On Jun 06, 2017
davear:
Its no news that the Southeastern states has a very low Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) when compared to other regions and the reasons are not far fetched. FG might have its share of blames but we need to look inside, identify our problems and solve them ourselves. The main culprits are:
1) Our leaders
2) Supporters of these leaders (both offline and online Media Crew)
3) Silence of our intellectuals and technocrats
Lets discuss these problems at the state level.

Enugu ( 2016 IGR- 14billion)
Before Ugwuanyi took over from Sullivan Chime, the IGR of Enugu state between 2013-2014 was 19billion but by 2016-2017 it has dropped to 14billion, while at thesame period the IGR of Ogun state rose from 18billion in 2013-2014 to 72billion by 2016-2017. There is no other person to blame than Ugwuanyi who has failed to attract or develop investment opportunities in Enugu state. Right now Enugu cannot compete with kaduna and kano states in terms of IGR. Funny enough when you highlight these problems online, his media crew, kinsmen and 042 faithfuls will attack you, you can confirm that in Enugu threads/forums.

Anambra ( 2016 IGR- 14billion)
When the "light of the nation" posts threads of Obiano signing MOU and commisioning factories, one would think that this state generates an IGR comparable to Lagos but alas it can only generate 14billion which is a slight improvement from 11billion it generated in 2013-2014. The state is blessed with intellects, politicians, billionaires and business men yet it is not industrialized. Anambrarians are quick to argue that the state offers a low-tax-scheme to indegious companies which I cannot verify for now, regardless it does not mean that Kwara state (with all due respect) should generate more we do. The state has the political strenght and population for masive industrialization yet no massive project/scheme is ongoing.

Abia (2016 IGR- 12billion)
A trip to abia state, Aba in particular will convince you of the enermous potentials abia state has. The human labour, skills and raw talents are there but unfortunately they are not developed to generate enough income for the state and country. The infrastructural and state government support are not there; the streets and market places are rowdy, roads are bad, no pedestrian sidewalks. Even if the FG has overlooked us, the state government can harness energy from within to spark development and industrilize itself. The past two Orji's have failed in this area, hopefully ikpeazu sees this and work aggresively.

Imo (2016 IGR- 5billion)
The situation in Imo state is a classical example of human capital flight "brain drain". Imo state has always lead the way in number of Jamb applicants, one of the top 3 Nigerian states in literacy level, highest number of civil servants as of 2015, top 3 in number of university graduates, but with all these educational and human capital prowess the states IGR is only comparable to taraba state- a northeastern region ravaged by boko haram. Its either the state leaders are siphoning money (through tax leakages) or there are no industial growth in the state. I once saw a thread were an Imolite was boasting that the state has the highest number of hotels in Nigeria (bar Lagos). Maybe if we focus on industries, then the human capital flight which has seen smart imolites leave the state will stop. Unfortunately the problem might continue if Rochas manages to install his candidate in the next gubernatorial elections.

Ebonyi ( 2016 IGR- 2billion)
Now thats a whimsical revenue, and to imagine that this state generated 11billion in 2014 makes it look more suspicious. Umahi obviously has some questions to answer with the drastic fall in revenue of his state, while other states were experiencing growths. It even seems like this governor had hired his own media crew to propagate false non-existing half baked projects. They started with an " airconditioned" stadium/event centre, followed by concrete roads (by taking pictures of one road from different angles) and non-existing water projects. Last week a journalist was beaten up for trying to reveal the true state of ebonyi in his facebook profile. To imagine that this state has massive potentials in agricultre and solid mineral developments, one can only wonder what is realy wrong with the present leaders and what the past leaders were doing. This state also has the least literacy rate in southeast yet we cant see any blue print in its educational sector, nor have we heard of any educational related activity from this our salt state

Although southeasterners are quick to argue that there are no "optimally functional ports" in the eastern region but neither are there ports in the northwestern are northcentral regions which has overtaken us in terms of IGR. There are thousand and one setups and projects that does reqiure port proximities (or import-export base commodity) and will still generate massive revenue for the region and more importantly improve our Human Development Index (another topic that will be discussed)
Lets look inside and hold our leaders responsible and make them accountable to us.

Politics › Re: Ogun State IGR Is Higher Than The IGR Of The Entire Southeast States--obidigbo by DerideGull(m):
tboycares:
November 18: Why Anambra needs Dr Chike Obidigbo.

I stumbled upon a publication on the IGR of all the regions and states in Nigeria, and I was utterly amazed that Ogun state gets about 73 billion naira from Internally Generated Revenue annually.

The Ogun state IGR is higher than the IGR of the entire southeast states put together. The publication puts IGR from the five states of southeast to about 50 billion naira annually.

This is the sole reason Ndigbo should start looking inward. The era of electing a governor to come and wait for Abuja, get allocation, pay workers and rush to media to hail himself is over.

Every region and indeed each state is looking at how to boost its local economy. Without a viable economy which drives revenue increase, we will continue to witness low IGR, rise in unemployment, dearth of infrastructure and capital flight.

It is no longer fashionable for our leaders to think that the only way to increase state IGR is to tax our market men and women heavily, appoint numerous aides on IGR and use all kind of touts to collect revenue. IGR is increased largely by attracting businesses and industries as well as tightening the leakages in all the revenue pay points.

However, as Anambra goes to POLL on November 18, Dr Chike Obidigbo is the only aspirant who has made strong promise on developing the economy of the state and by extension that of igboland. It is time to elect leaders who can attract real investments through sustainable policies that will guarantee investment security. It takes an entrepreneur to understand the right policies to grow the local economy.

It is disheartening that DISTILL an international manufacturer of Amarula and sundry spirits and wines that was lured to invest in Oraifite-Ozubulu axis of Anambra State by the Peter Obi administration following the success made by Inta Facts Beverages (subsidiary of Sab-Miller), maker of Hero Beer and other products has fled the state.

The present administration was to ensure that Distell’s facility was set up without unnecessary delay. But alas, this administration could not follow up and couldn't prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment Report.

Out of frustration, Distell left Anambra, and the State lost the job opportunities and the economic boost which would have accrued to her if the company had begun operations.

Lagos state today boasts of highest IGR of about 300 billion naira annually because it is the industrial hub of subsaharan Africa. Ogun state enjoys same through Sagamu-Lagos and Lagos-Otta industrial corridors.

Dr Chike Obidigbo will ensure that these unnecessary dilly-dallying and bureaucracy occasioned by unseriousness of govt officials that drive away our investors are reviewed. He has proposed to establish functional independent power plants within the first 12 months of his administration in Obosi and Igbo-Ukwu to serve the businesses and industrial clusters of Onitsha and Nnewi axes.

This is the major step to revamping the local economy and attracting industries to the state. Provision of stable power will also boost small and medium scale enterprises. There shall be in place consolidated tax system to be development oriented and business friendly.

Dr Obidigbo's administration will map out strategic sites for business clusters to ensure that businessmen from Anambra State have easy access to land to pursue investments which they have comparative and competitive advantages.

Doors of business and investment will be opened by limiting the scale at which government interferes with businesses. Investors will be free of all encumbrances that curtail the flow of economic activities.

Dr Chike Obidigbo, is what Anambra State needs now, to unlock the economic potentials in the state, drive the state economy and in his four years administration make Anambra fiscally viable with an IGR that will largely sustain the financial needs of the state.

Let's support Dr Chike Obidigbo, to Correct Correctly.
Are you feeding any person from southeast? This is one of the reasons Ndigbo are hell bent in actualization of Biafra so that IGR of Ogun State will be overly enough for the Yari.ba.

I really do not want to believe the authenticity of the proposed Biafra map. In one of their numerous statements, I have seen that they have corralled my homeland into the proposed Biafra enclave asking us to join the so-called sit-at-home protest that has been called.

You see, this if true is not accidental, after all it was our kinsman who waited after the Biafra super hero and lord of the flies flew off to Ivory Coast after the 30-month fratricide that saw millions starve and lose their lives. Maybe that is why this latter-day dreamers feel that it is their right to just ‘command’ us to join this their one-legged campaign.

Let me state here categorically that no Akwa Ibom man, dead or alive is in the least interested in this your Biafra Project, so please leave us alone to continue our suffering in this our one Nigeria.

We are content with our minority status and would continue to provide the Nigerian people with our delicacies and goodwill if nothing else. How for heaven’s sake do you sit in your fathers’ living rooms and draw up a map without even consulting with the people you are trying to take out of a whole country.

You see why I have always felt that this so-called Biafra push is a mere distraction at best and a comic turn of events at the worst and should not be taken seriously by any right-thinking Nigerian. Nigeria stands a much better chance of providing the very best in human life to its citizens as one solid country once we get leadership right.

I keep saying it and nobody especially these Igbo Jews seems to be listening that the issue is not in separation but in bad and ineffective leadership which cuts across the whole country not leaving out any region. So my dear Biafra agitators, please leave us alone o, we are really not interested.

Thank you for the concern. We are happy where we are even as we wish you well in your mission.

Nigeria is literally not doing that. I'm not asking you to "copy" the Europeans, I'm not advocating for a Slavish dogmatism to western trends, dont get me twisted. I'm just saying this:
Homosexuality, while being an unnatural thing, is NOT a disease. I'm not saying we should automatically like them and sh*t. Hell, I've once being approached by a gay and felt fucking disgusted. Same stuff made me subtly dislike empire too.

I'm simply saying that given the wealth of scientific knowledge we have on this subject, it's extreme idiocy to jail, kidnap and kill them just because they're gays. Don't get it twisted my good sir
There is no progressive society that embraces suicidal endeavor. If everybody should foolishly accept this your so-called new changes, the earth will end in a period of 80 years because there will be no production of human beings to continue warming the greatest creature in the universe. Homosexual is antihuman period. I agree homosexual is not a disease but selfish dead-end life style that has no place in a progressive society.
A society is meant to reproduce its kind biologically. Can homosexual society be able to continue a lineage?

Albert Horsfall was the first Director General of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA) and was a DG of Department of Security Service (DSS). He told Daily Trust on Sunday the position on the South-South on the renewed agitation for Biafra.

The Biafra agitators last week ordered their supporters to sit at home in commemoration of the declaration of State of Baifra by Ojukwu 50 years ago. Do you think Baifra dream is still achievable?

Baifra is a name derived from a goddess from Kalabari River. That river leads you very close to Abonnema. It is called ‘Ereya- toru’. Abonnema is Akuku- torlu proper. Ereye- toru is where Baifra derived its name. We The Kalabaris, the Ijaws, don’t need Baifra State, country or whatever you call it. So whatever is happening there in Baifra is a fight. They are finding a way of addressing their agitation. As far as I am concerned this is a democratic dispensation. In Nigeria, everybody is entitled to agitate, to argue, to discuss issues which they think are dear to them. But if it on the issue of Baifra that we fought for during the civil war, it has been defeated and is dead and gone.

What is your view on those that want it resurrected?

And for anybody to now try to resurrect it, I will advise those involved in it to pursue other more serious issues to channel their energy. When they talk of Baifra and include part of Rivers State, Port Harcourt and other parts is non starter. River State before it became a political entity had been a socio-cultural entity where the Ijaw communities and all the riverine communities, such as Kalabari, Bonny, Okrika, Andoni and the upland communities, including the Ogonis and so on interacted; we have been brothers and sisters. We intermarried hundreds of years ago. For instance, I have blood relations in Ogba\egbema\Ndoni and we are happy living side by side with our friends.

Are you saying that Baifra is dead?

The Ojukwu Baifra is dead and gone. We fought a civil war here and I led a special security delegation here alongside the military. We represented Nigeria’s united interest which General Gowon represented. We all served here and the war was fought and it was over and Gowon declared no victor no vanquished verdict and that concept is still there. We are living very happily with everybody. Port Harcourt is the capital of Rivers State from time to time, the issue of Port Harcourt has been a subject of agitation. Port Harcourt was one of the issues the so-called Biafra demanded and this matter was discussed in Kampala.

I don’t know why people are bothered about Baifra and want to resurrect it and create tension which is totally unnecessary. Those that are staking interest in Port Harcourt have no locus standi whatsoever. We don’t want to resurrect things that will create tension in this country. Like I said earlier, everybody has a right to agitate but to agitate on somebody else’s territory is wrong. So, if anybody wants to cede Port Harcourt, the person is looking for trouble. We should not look for trouble anymore. Those of us who were old enough and saw the Civil War which was unnecessary, created by Ojukwu who wanted to separate from Nigeria. The Civil War took a lot of innocent lives. We don’t want to see it repeated. The agitation for Biafra should stop. I’m not saying that they should not agitate but they should not do it in somebody’s territory. They should remove Port Harcourt from it.
