What a question. Grab a history book; it will help you.
Which history book is dude on about? It is safe to say that historical facts usually manifest themselves in ironic ways. something must be critically wrong as the historical inventiveness of Nigerians of yesteryears remain elusive to Nigerians of today. It is said that water flows to the channel it has been once selected.

Not here to banter words with you but if you are a Nigerian, show some respect and don't embarrass yourself on a forum you know the world visits and if you are not a Nigerian, shut up and allow us in spirit of patriotism pay respect to our country when deserving and criticise our leaders where necessary. Don't come here spewing hate. Good day.
If I am a Nigerian, I should have no qualms denying such connection. Why would any reasonable person grant any form of respect to a dysfunctional zoo such as Nigeria? By the way if you want to test the spirit of patriotism, I suggest you book day with the members of the victorious Nigeria Super Falcons.
Politics › Re: Is It Good To Accuse Someone In The Open And Try Him With Masquerade? by DerideGull(m): 2:00am On Dec 16, 2016
Buhari's government of Nigeria has no pedigree to prosecute anybody in the court of law. The dumbass dude has floated every court order in the books. I am at lost why the so-called jurists in Nigeria still put to trial the cases brought by this idiotic government.

Itse Sagay is what the late Ahmadu Bello aptly described as the willing tool in the southern Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Check Out The Song That Made Igbos Rise After Biafra by DerideGull(m): 1:27am On Dec 16, 2016
tysontim:
Celestine ukwu Ije Enu is arguably the greatest song to have come out during the civil war era, as mothers watched their husbands die, children left with no hope as hunger became their closest companion.

Every one thought the Igbos will be no more, as their brothers in Rivers and some parts of Delta state denied being Igbo. Infact to be Igbo in Nigeria then is an automatic ticket to poverty. So people thought that it is just a matter of time before Igbo become extinct. This was a tribe that dominated every thing in Nigeria before the war.

Then comes Ije enu the powerful song that made Igbo rediscover themselves. Yes this song made Igbos realize that they can never be conquered.

If you are an Igbo Man and you don't know this song, then ask your father. Your father will likely tell you that the company or property you are going to inherit is probably Cus of this song.

YouTube link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK4jYXtXf0U

Please it us important you listen to this song, it is audio so it won't take much from your data. This song can lift you out from your misry.

If you want the audio link for free download just indicate
The song and its album preceded the start of Nigeria/Biafra war.

QuotaSystem:
Funny enough by the time Kaduna starts producing oil from the refinery and all the attendant benefits begin to roll in, the ScAvengers supporters will be the first ones to scream marginalization.

Kudos to El Rufai for adding oil to the North's portfolio (added to agriculture) for its impending economic revolution.
Why are all the delusions about One-Nigeria? It means some goons are not playing fair.
Politics › Re: El-rufai Signs Mou With Chinese Firms For 80,000-barrels Per Day Refinery(photos by DerideGull(m): 7:15pm On Dec 15, 2016
It will be welcome idea if all the crude oil wells in southern Nigeria are sealed.

I used to agree that Nigerians are among the most intelligent people in the world..., until i joined Nairaland. Now, i always insist on the caveat: "SOME" Nigerians are among the most intelligent...

No need generalizing what is clearly a fallacy.
Intelligent without discipline is a waste.

dabossman:
But of course, electricity was required to build the first boat. Dude, long before electricity, man discovered the art/science of flotation? My point? Technology doesn't develop itself, it's takes a human mind to conceive it. All the things you have mentioned are just a means to an end, not the end in itself.
Was an African the man who discovered the art/science? If so, why has the discovery of African art/science not manifested in development of grids, network of roads, potable water and even clean gutter?

Don't mind them o. A lot of ignoramuses who don't know anything beyond what is happening in their living room will come on Nairaland to talk trash. They think the Military is all about infantry soldiers. There are military engineers in this country working on different projects. There's even a school of Military Engineers (NASME) in Makurdi, Benue State.
Nigeria cannot supply a electricity for an hour talk less building a ship. Any foreign country that led the operations in assembling of the so-called NNS KARADUWA must bring their generators for electricity. Even the parts to sustain the generators and other equipment needed to assemble the ship in Nigeria must be imported. This is not about a disdain for Nigeria but a factual fact.

bros there are two things one needs to manufacture an engine 1 design (dimensions ) 2 specification (materials n there properties )
we as a nation can afford 3D printers or lathe machines to produce machine parts
we are not that backward
Yet the secondary schools in Nigeria are dilapidated. Society does not grow without the youths. It is funny a group of people can afford, not assemble, 3D printers yet cannot maintain a high school dormitories. What group of goons.

GodIsBiafran:
I had a dream this afternoon and Biafra became a reality and we became the most industrialized black nation in the world. But we had land not only in SE but in Delta, Rivers, Edo, Kogi, Benue, Cross River, Akwa-Ibom etc. And those people that say we will not be allowed to take our people and our lands with us are not serious. At least we own 60% of Rivers State. The people of Akwa/Cross are die hard Biafrans; the Igbos in Edo are not subjected to the Oba of Bini and we must carve out our land from there too. I will like to see a Nairalander draw this new map so that we can sanitize our people and prepare them for the hardwork that is to come. Long Live Biafra. Long Live Nnamdi Kanu.
There is nothing such as "black" nation. Yes, Biafra could become the most industrialized African nation.

Am unashamed to admit that the video DID brought tears to my eyes so much so i could not watched it all, however for a different reason to yours. I had tears in my eyes imagining the wanton and gratuitous sufferings, ojukwu brought onto his fellow nigerians in general and his people in particular just so he could satisfy his own personal ambition and ego

Had ojukwu truly wanted to secede with his people, it's imperative that he shuns any military option as the (obvious) end is now confined to the annals of our reprehensible national history
I guess a stone cannot be educated. There was a Aburi, Ghana and a quarter of Biafra had been captured by the vandals from Nigeria led by Gowon before Biafra even thought of military option. I know timeline does not mean anything to Afonjas.
Politics › Re: Wars, Coups, Counter-coups Dominated My Time As Military Officer – Buhari by DerideGull(m): 2:08pm On Dec 15, 2016
Corruption! Corruption!! Corruption!!! How did this dumbass Mohammed Lawal Abubakar, the Aide-De-Camp (ADC) to Daura Dumbass named Muhammed Buhari rise from Major to Col in the period of less than two years? Mohammed Lawal Abubakar could not make the grade to join NDA until one Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau waded into his case. After the Daura Dumbass known as Muhammed Buhari rigged himself into the presidency of the zoo called Nigeria, Mohammed Lawal Abubakar was appointed ADC and he was a Major. One wonders how Mohammed Lawal Abubakar rapidly rose to the rank of Col from Major while it took Jonathan’s ADC the whole tenure to rise from Lt Col to Col. This present administration is the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria. There is no form of corruption worse than nepotism.

You have shown your true habit as a Nigerian with the above post. Sometimes Nigerian assume to know everything while they know absolutely nothing. The act of "copy and paste" has nothing to do with copyright. There is a hidden embarrassing feature in copy and paste. It is a not dumb act to caption it, "Vanguard: Why Igbo Are Not Rich -Leo Stan". It is equally dumb that the caption of the thread on this forum did not appear as a quotation.
