I think one of the reasons they want to respond is to prove to the world that they can attack Iran with greater success, given that Iran has a less powerful air defense system and no allies to help shoot down missiles. Even with the best Air defense, defending would be much harder because Iran is 75x bigger than Israel. They know they can easily get bragging rights with that.

On the flip side, it would take Iran 75x less effort to flood Israel's small, densely populated country with hell after overwhelming their air defense. Fighting Iran without direct external assistance or WMDs will be a very stupid mistake.

My question is will Israel be able to fight on multiple fronts after it has stupidly attacked Iran cause it is still struggling with Hamas. America and its western allies are the ones who can help Israel manage the consequences of attacking Iran at this time but the question is, are they themselves ready for this awful event considering the harm it will do to global economy and the region in particular which they have interests in. They will rein in Israel especially the rabid dog Netanyahu. Meanwhile Israel can still continue to carry out acts of sabotage inside Iran just to please itself but I don't believe they would dare attack Iranian positions in Syria again. Iran has set a redline.

One thing America has come to realize is that they now know Israel intention is to drag them into its madness. Israel knows it can't take on Iran alone. It understand the consequences of attacking Iranian nuclear sites but doing everything to drag America to help her do it. This attack from Iran is a win for Iran as America will start treading more carefully while it still maintains its security commitment to a weak Israel that can't do it alone, an Israel that can't face a ragtag Hamas alone. But America will never help Israel strike Iran.

Their actions on the embassy and possible reactions from Iran are pre-calculated and pre-empted. Iran is playing into a well-laid plan that Saudi Arabia, Israel and USA, even Jordan has laid long before now.

Honestly, this has to be the most weak and impotent response I'd ever expect from Iran. If I were Iran I'd rather not attack right now and instead, keep Israel under continued anxiety for much longer than this ridiculous charade by Iran.

Nothing of value was lost, no israeli military man was killed by those drones and yet some of us here are saying Iran is sending message. That's a weak ass message I'm afraid. This is a good response from Iran regardless. All thanks to the UK, US and Jordan for helping Israel in the interception. A no response is what would be termed a weak Iran. And it is now that Iran can do that to show it is doing this cause you attacked our consulate in Syria. Doing that later would be deemed a fresh attack or first strike from Iran.

This is not the worst Iran can do. But Iran's military has done one thing by attacking Israel directly for the first time. That's significant, only a strategic expert can understand this. This is not about waking up bro. This is a point made by a Nuclear strategist under Obama. Israel would be the first to be destroyed in a nuclear exchange between its arch foe Iran due to its small size.. The Iranian nuclear issue is a nightmare for Israel cause Israel knows what it means. Israel can't sleep with two eyes closed as it is all about Iran everyday. Netanyahu running to Washington and even Russia to discuss Iran, addressing the UN. Israel does not have rest. It is always in a state of alert. And it won't have that rest it will continue to be in that state of fear.

You attacked a sovereign country's consulate and you don't want them to retaliate or even have nuclear bomb. It doesn't work that way. If you knew they had nuclear bomb you won't do that. So another reason Iran must step up its game on the nuclear side. Israel keeps miscalculating because it thinks it has US backing.

Those missiles were intercepted with the help of US, UK, Jordan. Iran knows how to play its game. Either they were intercepted or not a message has been passed. Let's see if Israel will continue its rubbish in Syria which I believe it will be careful henceforth and I know US would try to warn Netanyahu not to drag the whole region into trouble. The reason Israel keeps violating intl law is because she has the support of US and other western nations but if those western nations sees that Israel's action poses a threat to their interests they would caution Israel secretly.

Honestly I believe Iran has untested nukes. But the fact remains in the event of a nuclear exchange between her and Israel it is Israel that would first experience annihilation due to its small size, a one-megaton size bomb is enough to turn Israel into a nuclear wasteland. Though Israel would later use its German built Dolphin class submarines to launch a massive retaliation.

Israel won't respond as America would rein her in. Regional conflagration won't favour America and its western partners interests in the region. And Israel itself can't afford a wider conflict now as it is still struggling with Hamas in Gaza since Oct 7 last year. It is good Iran has passed a message that it won't sit down and continue to watch as Israel continues to strike its bases in Syria especially the brazen attack on Iran's consulate in the country which contravenes intl law.

What Iran has just done is what is called deterrence by punishment. At least Israel now knows what to expect next time it does that to Iran again in Syria. Iran has been quiet for long which has also given Israel a free ride to do whatever it wishes while America pets her as it watches. But now America would start cautioning Israel to avoid a scenario that could lead to a conflagration in the region.

I can tell you Iran will gain a lot from any regional conflagration cause it won't be fighting alone. What Israel has done to the Palestinians since Oct 7 has really angered a lot of people in the region who are ready to join an army of proxies that would attack Israel should Israel escalate further. America understands this and would not allow it to escalate. Any conflagration might even be the end of America's presence in the region cause the chaos it will cause US and its allies won't be able to clean it up. Everybody is seeking to protect its interests in the region so US won't allow it to go up in flames. Do you know why US hasn't attacked Iran with all the problems Iran and its proxies have caused the US? It is not because of Iran's military might alone but because of the wider destabilisation of the region which would affect US interest.

He is right, Taiwan is a renegade province of China. It is not even about the One-China Policy, U.S does not have the right to dictate to China what it should and shouldn't do with Taiwan.

Taiwan used to be part of China until Japan wrestled it from China during the first Sino-Japanese war, 1898 and forced China to sign The Treaty of Shimonoseki a treaty that reliquished China's control over Taiwan. Japan controlled Taiwan until it was defeated in 1945 and returned Taiwan back to China but during this time China was still being ruled by a U.S puppet with the name Chiang Kai-Shek so U.S didn't have problem with China having Taiwan back as its province.

But things changed when the communist under Mao Zedong took power from the US puppet Chiang Kai-Shek in 1949. The US puppet ran to Taiwan to continue his govt there with US support and he declared Taiwan a separate country with US help because US didn't want Taiwan to be ruled by communists from mainland China.

You can see the dirty game US played here. If the Communists didn't seize power in mainland China, Taiwan being part of China won't be a question today. So the question is who is U.S to be dictating to China who owns or don't own Taiwan? China has the right to take back her renegade province after all US is not the God or emperor of this world.
