In as much as the OP used her story to shed light on the influence of negative addictions, Can we all pause and think about where her soul is now? There is only one place she could be, either HELL or HEAVEN.
What about you reading this right now? Where will you be after you leave this world?
The Bible says, "It is appointed unto a man once to die, and after this the judgment"...
It is high time you give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ... If not for anything else, for to escape to escape the judgment of God coming upon this Earth, and to see God on the last day. God bless you.

Agriculture / Re: Usingtrees For Cattle Feed In Nigeria by Desammyst(m): 8:31pm On Oct 20, 2021
spinna:
"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. - Genesis1:29 Holy Bible (KJV)

I made a decision from when i first started raising cattle. I decided that i would be as hands on as possible. In other words i was the herdsman, i had no hired hands. I learnt from practical experience and suffered all the cow kicks and head butts, falls, mistakes and near misses that were required to gain mastery of the cattle.

One of the main issues that we tropical cattle farmers face is the issue of dry season feeding. Cattle farmers face this problem in temperate regions as well when their winter season comes in.

Even if you have established pastures , in the height of the scorching dry season, every alternative source of fodder is crucial. Both to your cattle's welfare, and your pocket

So your cows are hungry and you look left and right and there is nothing to eat ..so look UP then, you might find something for your hungry animals. Before i learnt about these trees i used to have to source for cassava peels, and sometimes have to plant corn for silage. But so far this dry season i haven't purchased any cassava peels. The combination of Camelsfoot pods (see below) and dry Brachiaria pastures is satisfying my cattle well.

Cattle feeding under Mango tree

Trees can be a very useful source of fodder for your dry season farming. In fact some trees are so useful that i will recommend planting them interspersed with pasture grass. This system of trees and pastures is called Silvopasture.

I will talk about some trees that are useful to us here in Nigeria and that can make your life a whole lot easier, keeping your cattle in good body condition during the dry season. There are more of them but i will talk about three.

1. Mango Tree. The Mango tree is a useful source of feed for cattle at the height of the dry season. They readily consume ripe and unripe fruits (including the seed) as well as leaves.. I must say my jaw dropped the first time i saw a cow chew and swallow an entire mango. Waste of mango can be used for making cattle feed commercial. Major waste like mango seed kernel is a good source of carbohydrate. Of course mangoes are highly favoured by humans as well so you can go for the leaves which are plentiful so as not to offend your neighbours. (Remember folks we are practising ETHICAL Cattle farming here) Too much of mango leaf is bad for cows though so make sure it is not their sole feed...

Appliedmaths:

Report the case to NAICOM and PENCOM, they're your best bet. Gather all your hard copy supporting documents, better if you're in Abuja based on head office things. If you're in Lagos go to their office accompanied by a lawyer or send an email first.

Visit NIACOM's and PENCOM's website and submit a complain.

Let me know how far...

Oh okay, sir... I am just seeing this now... I have actually submitted a complaint through their email address... No response yet

Family / How Can My Dad Recover His Pension Arrears From Niger Insurance? Please Help! by Desammyst(m): 4:12pm On May 12, 2021
Good day everyone, please this is my first time creating a post on this forum. I need all the help and advise you can provide, please.
My dad is a retired civil servant who started remitting a certain amount of money as insurance to Niger Insurance Company. The maturity of the money was due for the year 2019. Two(2) years down the line, Niger Insurance has yet to give him his pension plus accrued profits, running into millions of naira.
He has reported to his office, they have communicated the insurance office in the state we stay, yet the manager there is going back and forth, nothing coming out.
The state insurance manager is aware that his pension is matured, yet she is promising him that the issue is from the headquarters in Lagos, that they're paying people one after the other. Giving all sort of excuses, yet nothing forthcoming.
As a family, we're very concerned. That's why I brought it here, so that we can know the best way to recover the money.
God bless you lightly, as you help out.

*Mods, please help me push to the front page.

In achieving destiny, marry someone who is going the same way with you, someone who will run vision together with you. I believe there must have been incompatibility in destiny fulfillment on both sides. Pastors should marry Pastor's wife. Engineers should marry Engineer's wife. Doctors should marry Doctor's wife.
Please, read the above analysis thoroughly. Thank you.

I heard that the people who were contacted are those who applied through state and have written examination during the last DG tenure. How true is it? if it's, what about those that applied this year through the HQ?

The person is actually a retiree... I will be praying, as you've said. Thank you

Good day, everyone. I am interested in this DSS job, and someone helped me to submit my application letter in the headquarters Abuja... I'm surprised seeing that candidates have been selected already. Is there still hope for this year? What can I do to gain entrance into the office?

Hi. You mean letter of recommendation? You can get it from your work place.

The volunteer experience is necessary, where you involved in CDS activities while serving? It can be added as an experience.

You need to apply with those things in place. Good evening!

Please, to whom will the letter of recommendation and cover letter be addressed to? Thank you for a quick response.
