IamZinah:Wow, my apologies. You're trying to say you are students sponsored by Rivers State Government on scholarship? |
Tolerance: People are not perfect. So many wrong things can become right with tolerance. A little laugh when he does things that makes you very ANGRY.. A quiet 'Baby, please, you know I don't really like that' when she does something you really HATE.. A smile and change of focus when your partner exhibits an irritating behaviour.. Or that 'It's all right if it's not available now. I can manage', when something urgently needed is out of reach (especially when it's not supposed to be).. All these can help to improve many aspects of your relationship. There's always the quiet time together to straighten things out in a way that'll make your partner appreciate your putting up with the 'disgusting' action. |
IamZinah:By vague, I meant unclear. |
Vague claims. |
I guess you're asking for something. Let me give it to you at once. I think you're the second most stu.pid person to have made a pathetic show of himself. Just next to Orubebe. Have a 'usual' day. |
elego1:I only stated a possibility. It is also very possible that she bought her way through. I'm more likely to believe that. It's hard believing that such an inarticulate person could have successfully scaled the tertiary institutions demands. |
“The days coming will be critical, we shall study all the conditions and consult widely before determining the way going forward for our collective existence and survival as a people. The days coming shall either drive the quest of integration or further separate us.”This earmarks the beginning of the unrest I was concerned about. I think President Jonathan needs to address this himself. For goodness sake, these guys are sitting on Nigeria's chief source of income. Hardly a scene fitting for a battle field |
Nice job. |
Love gone sour.. |
elego1:I'ld have given their names and details but for confidential reasons. A hostel mate of mine, Cwaya, can confirm this claim. He is on Nairaland but don't know if he's available now. |
acenazt:Yes. 1 Northerner from Kano. Remind me of the population of Kano again. How many percent of Kano indigenes are on Nairaland? EOD. In other news, what did you notice about 2011 elections? |
She'll be in the best position to explain this awkward scene ![]() |
I was an avid supporter of GEJ till 2019 days back, but it's all in the past now. Hell!! I didn't even step out of my door on Saturday, likewise millions of the Igbofolk nationwide. That goes a long way to tell you how seriously we take these things you were 'dishing out heavy warnings' about. Well, I didn't lose my job, my bank account didn't drop a kobo and I didn't lose a family member for supporting GEJ.. So, what were your warnings all about? |
Of course. There's this acquaintance of mine years back in Geology Department, Anambra State University. This lady isn't fluent in the use of English Language at all. Her boyfriend got countless heartbreaks from her grammatical bombshells that turns every romantic moments of theirs into English lessons. But you wouldn't want to doubt her brilliance in her field. She graduated with a 2.1 and deservedly so. I witnessed firsthand testimonies from her departmental colleagues. |

POPdecorator:After Boko Haram, what next? Don't be myopic. |
Good for democracy. |
Let him keep this certificate well o. |
acenazt:Osibanjo will gain whose trust?? Oga, just forget it. With or without a running mate from the North, they would always favour their compatriot. Consult 2011 elections so you'ld know what I mean. |
Of course, they could collaborate with the North just like this elections. It's impossible for any Southern state to win the elections without some form of alliance in the North and vice versa. |
koboko69:If you call this trouncing, I take it you didn't witness 2011 elections. |
Followed due process? Quite hard to believe. Twice on record, he had reacted instinctively without thought to being defeated. Put simply, he has never reacted in anyway close to how the President reacted, the reasons being obvious. I hope the president-elect isn't being frank about how he plans to tackle the economic issue. He should remember there are people to compensate: The ones who got him the support he needed to succeed. That will still impact on the country's finances. Anyway, there's still till May 29th to figure that out. http://youtube.com/watch?v=TQHTBITFD7A |
I think that is a response to the media insinuations, not to the President. President Jonathan is covered by insurance. Taking him down will take a lot of people down including the people Buhari owes a lot of unorthodox favours. |
This one is like Nigerian movies.. The end is obvious from the start ![]() |
Well, he is indeed one of the best leaders Nigeria ever had. While the masses were agitating for a rapid solution, he went about it in a slow but steady pace. The pity is, like every other leader before him, is that he will be remembered only when things seem bad. As for his achievements, all that's history. |
I like him. That's why I supported him. But it's now obvious that he has no future in Aso villa. So he's now at his rightful place in history. As one of the most peaceful presidents to have ruled Nigeria. |
To you, it is. I don't think it beats Gen. Absdulsalam handing over to President Obasanjo. What we appreciate is the proper switch in leadership as a mark of improvement. You lots are pretty much the same. |
The real question is: Did he behave in the proper way or the wrong way? He's a Ph.D holder, hence he knows what it means to be civilized unlike those who had virtually nothing at stake. Talking about 'strength' like we're in a wrestling bout from '1600s'. Have you ever heard the slogan of the 21st century, INTELLIGENCE OVER BRUTE?? Amaechi thinks him a weakling also. |
Emmafrancis:And he had some standby plans for dogs and baboons in 2015 ![]() |
OP, when I wake up tomorrow, I'll try to figure out your point. For now, this is like a waste of thread space. ![]() I can understand if you think him a weak person. So does Rotimi Amaechi ![]() |
redcliff:Noted. |
