It depends on the content of the letter. If you are writing because she can't do that, you should use her name. But if you are writing because she refused to do so, you should use your own name. Not that EEDC will be looking out for this, but faithfully should begin with a small 'f'. Don't forget to add the sex in bracket (Mr.) or (Mrs.) at the end of your full name. |
courage54:Dude, use words you are conversant with. You're abusing vocabulary at will. |
The Lord? Dude, successful Nigerian politicians don't do 'Lord'. Neither do their fanatic supporters..for in openly defending them without accepting their shortcomings, they are being blind to the truth, and are as criminal as the politicians they speak for. |
So? |
Immarshall:Kid yourself all you want man, there is no place in Nigeria more uncivilized than your brothers up north. Opinions can be twisted, but facts are sacred. |
Northern Nigeria How they managed to turn out this way, I have little idea. |
This advert can be seen in the politics section of Nairaland with the caption "The power to stop Boko Haram is in your hands" Frankly, I don't see the sense in it. First, most individuals in this country are neither soldiers nor jungle-based hunters in the least. Hence, transversing the length and breadth of the deserts in search of the terrorists Secondly, if they implied that we need to vote in another government that has 'Boko Haram Elimination' as its top priority, I don't think it is a wise move at the moment. The Nigerian Army morale is on a high now, with great news and videos of victory. So, it's a matter of time before Boko Haram goes into hibernation. Perhaps, more pressing now, is the country's finances. So, that priority is a bummer. I think we can help in our own little way by providing information and so on. One doesn't need to vote in a party before he/she does his or her civic right. |
Mehn.. See News ![]() Diverse views on one issue. I thought the plan for this farm has been there all along. Now this? Anyway, GEJ should address the compensation issue. |
Forget frontpage.. This will slow down the server ![]() |
Hehehehehe.. This is really bad timing from the Imams.. I mean, refusing now that Boko Haram is finally going down the drain? As leaders and humans with brains, they ought to know better than to refuse. |
Choi! See match-up!! I missed jare |
Does any one remember 'Pastor Tunde Bakare's comments' over a certain arrangement when he was in the running for Presidency? Anyone? |
Lifebender:This ain't an introduction, 'wise' guy.. Sorry 'bout the pain that's got your brain so messed up |
EdCure:#NeverAgain shall you be ignorant of the meaning of clueless. #NeverAgain shall you be misled by one who could have helped stopped the Boko Haram menace earlier but did nothing. #NeverAgain shall you undermine the most credible elections ever held in the country and whose leadership over saw it. #NeverAgain shall we witness an aspirant whom violence is his first port of call at any slight provocation. #NeverAgain shall you use #NeverAgain, for this is to the glory of your enemy. GEJ over GMB! |
tseuns:Click on the particular section you want to post in. As you scroll down, Politics for instance, after those numbers in a line (1)(2)(3)..and so on, you will see the 'Create New Topic' option. |
benarex:God bless your realistic way of thinking. As long as godfatherism exists at such magnitude in Nigerian politics, there is little hope of getting a selfless leader at any level in Nigeria The difference between GEJ and GMB is while GEJ has disposed of some godfathers who were milking the country dry, GMB has gained their backing, along with those he had before, and is planning to bring the whole lot to the feast if he succeeds. Considering that this has been going on for a very long time, and that Nigeria's chief source of income has fallen by 50%, this is very bad for the economy. |
Lifebender:And wisdom is when Buhari doesn't even know your ancestor but you are eager to kill yourself for him?? Sorry o ![]() |
realGURU:You're quite st.upid. A government secondary school in 'Bauchi' is in pitiable condition and you are blaming the president. What is the need of having state government and local government and giving them allocations when the FG still have to wipe their buttocks? |
Still on the small cash they 'managed' to raise. Hmm.. Sweet Tea.. |
eaglechild:You know, it's funny when people paint 'Buhari' all saintly and righteous. Forgetting that he has been rejected for many reasons before now. And suddenly, because many of the 'treasury-siphoning' godfathers are not sapping like they would love to under this administration, they have painted GEJ black and looking to try a new option in Buhari as a means to reconnect to the country's wealth. To him and to the 'loot-depots' backing him, we say 'No vacancy in Nigerian Treasury' |
qasmah:Your dear General doesn't agree with you on this one. Consult his reply to the summon. 'Human Rights Abuses' is something democracy never joked with anywhere in the world. Is there an 'excuse', any 'excuse' at all, no matter how flimsy, that can justify a 'changed' man from accepting 'responsibility' for his watch? Or this is a new 'Angel' surfacing in favourable clime? Like I pointed out, he wasn't the only one who turned down the inquest. Babangida did too, a perfect role model for him, I must say. |
delightful1:Guess you didn't read the article. What he is saying is, 'What would a CORE muslim be flirting about with the 'road to damascus' for? It's as ill-fitting as wool on a cockroach. |
rusher14:Is it? Saying one thing and doing another? If he really took responsibilty for everything that happened between 1983 to 1985 under his watch, what could justify him refusing to appear before Oputa Panel to take responsibility for the misdemanours under his watch? What would make him follow the cue of Ibrahim Babangida and hide away from proving his integrity? And suddenly now, he is what? A responsibility-taker? |
I'm a Jonathan supporter. But I think FFK talks too damn much! |
Well.. Start by heading over to Cambridge and 'change' something that is of benefit to you. In a civilian government, a 'certificate' is very much your present and your future. The old military glory, like you said, is in the past. But the present doesn't have a prudent route to success for you. A leader leads by example. The humble General says that he takes responsibility for everything that happens under his watch. So what really is the issue about the 'boycotted Oputa Panel summon'? Or that doesn't count? #Change.. Begins in your individual lives. Stop waiting for a man with his own personal problems to bring it to you! |
I'ld have thought that was inside a house? Don't get the 'stepping out' part. ![]() |
wakacome:You seem to lack the patience to really 'think' before you weigh in your opinion. Are there no other political parties in leadership positions of the Nigerian Government? Were you an alien, I'ld have thought you talk through your ar$e because that post was full of shit! |
pendy79:This is a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul. AC is just a part of APC. Their ideologies aren't the same. You made a mistake of assigning an attribute of AC to APC, forgetting that CPC and ex-PDP provide the bulk of APC, and that is the ideology that governs the party. This 'goodness' has been taking place under AC, far before the advent of APC. |
4everGrand:No. Not enjoying it and never would. Still won't support new ones either. It's worse. As long as godfatherism exists, forget great leadership. |
StunningCEO:You sound quite st.upid. No offences, but weigh your post. Very unconnected to the subject matter. |
G.C.F.R |
slimfit1:And this justifies the collection of their salaries and witholding it? This speaks for every single member of the civil service? |
