Happy Birthday, Mr President. Many Happy Returns. For those of you insulting him, I hope you're having fun? Remember you have fathers and remember you will be fathers one day. May the good Lord who listens to our innermost thoughts bless you commensurately, Amen. |

₦100 airtimes are being printed by almost anyone with an affiliation with MTN. If he decides to include a party logo on it, I don't think the blame should go to MTN since it was done without their permission. But MTN should get to the root of the matter. Whomever violated the rights (or instructions) should be made to pay. Advertising Political Parties like they're necessary for our well being. |
It's "I go die".. Impossible not to laugh at his jokes. On Nollywood, it's "Aki and Pawpaw" pair.. Too bad they stopped. |
Did this happen in 2008? ![]() I wouldn't think so. Don't remember such. But I think the 'FTC' thing is just so dumb, boring and too outdated. It's a goddamn cyberworld and some people still can't tone down their juvenile tendencies. I mean, 'FTC', 'Diariz God', 'I live in France', every damn day?? Seriously?? |
Crazy pictures.. Lol |
Wild goose chase. Wish the police luck though..if the story is true. |
This is just unbelievable. I don't think that lady is mentally up-to-date. She must be crazy or something. |
It's time to be very analytical. There are many reasons that could make a lady utter such statement. 1. External pressure: Maybe someone is selling her the idea that she should get settled. It may be her parent(s) or friend(s). Alternatively, her friends may be getting married en masse. Finally, a suitor or suitors have been making her believe she is due, and she is letting you know she is considering that option, even if it's not you. 2. She may not be seeing a future with you. Hence, that statement is a way of reinforcing her belief that you will be there for her or trying to let you know she wants something real than what you both are in. Either ways, this is a signal that something isn't normal for her in that relationship anymore. She may be ready to advance into the next stage of life, with or without you. I believe you have two options, both of which you can negotiate after having a talk with her. First, try to find out her reason for wanting to take the next step. You have to do this as a friend, not a jealous lover. If she's doing it under pressure, remind her that people tend to make grave relationship mistakes whenever they are willing to thaw under pressure. Rather, she must take all the pressure away and see what she wants for herself clearly. Your two options are to marry he or to let her go, if you can ascertain that she really feels the need to get settled soonest. You know, a woman's mind holds a lot of secrets and reasons for every single action they take or are willing to take. No need acting like you know it all, for in truth, men do not actually weigh over issues as deeply as women do. If you're ready, you marry her as long as she'll make you proud of that decision. If you're not ready, ask her to be patient only if you want the relationship. Else, you can tell her you aren't ready or considering that option anytime soon. But leave out begging in any case. Let her make her decision from then on, so you do not get blamed for a wrong act |
AbuMikey:No see o.. I hope things have been looking up ever since?? |
Was searching for one of my articles here when I happened upon this thread. So, Fynestboi, you still dey sha?? Abumikey no dey use bold type again?? Honeydear, I see yo shadow. Hello, people!! |
I had a much more comprehensive research work on this topic titled 'The science of Love'. It didn't get this audience, I guess due to its thorough nature. Most would prefer shortcuts to knowledge. |
Chai!! Somebody can lie ehn.. Immediately I read her post, my phone network off show 'SOS'. Na there I confirm say 'he' that is in you is greater than 'he' that is in the world. |
Before nko? Are we expecting the death toll to reduce? |
Happy Birthday, P-Square.. Make una EJE AJO and SHEKINI to ENEMY SOLO beat with IFEOMA wey dey SARI SARI una mind. |
Hmmm.. Whatever the reason? ![]() |
Majority of all Nigerians supported the change. But the minority few also want their voices to be heard. Since Nigeria isn't a savage country, the majority is most probably, the best for them. If only our leaders were this sensitive to the people's voice, we would live in a better country now. |

I wouldn't know man. People are dying in tens and hundreds, and we're ascribing it to cheap political gains?? Let's just end the whole saga. However, the hunters killed some and received no query. But if it were the Nigerian Army?? All these useless Human Rights organization for no let person hear word. |
I can say they feel two solid emotions. The first one is they know they're capable of garnering attention so, it's a plus for them. The second has two dimensions. If the 'toaster' is a douche bag, they'll quite critical at how they were able to attract such an a$s. But if he's a nice gee, especially financially, most would probably remain confused over what they've missed, and always make that point to their boyfriends. |
Damn.. Lol |
chacoonder:Hypocrite like me?? Dude, I'm a scientist. Scientists don't just believe anything they are told. Any 'flaw' is enough to rubbish the whole claim. 'Doubt' is the only path to true knowledge. And what you have written is the plain truth?? I can't imagine the eye witnesses of that era are still alive till now, that's the only way to prove it beyond reasonable doubt. Certainly, humans lie to achieve their aim and justify their opinions no matter how bias, so if you expect me to wholly base my trust in what is written by a 'human' and passed on for generations, you must be dreaming. I'm sure people like you will also believe that the tortoises in the folklores our grandparents told us could really talk too, simply because you were told so. Pathetic scholar. |
The attitude of others make people change. It all boils down to the people around you. |
Copy and paste without comprehension nor verification. Your introduction proved it all. "Throughout most of the next 1000 years.." What 'next' thousand years? From when till when? Did your post contain any specific year when their influence started? Controversial posts like these without foundations irritates me. You know how flammable it could be, yet you didn't take time to do your homework. |
If this claim is real, it's the real reason for not voting in any presidential candidate from that party. With the crises and grief Boko Haram is causing in this country, none of the top guns there could convince the rest to seek the root of the matter. Instead, they're crossing their legs, folding their hands, and waiting for the president to come pleading on bended knees, before they interceed to stop their own country from falling apart? What kind of patriotism is that? Is this the quality with which they'll rule us? That oppositions must beg before they can be helped to keep their country in order? Do they know the definition of citizenship? I think it's better to have a president who takes his time in making decisions and because of that, he is called clueless, than having a president with lots of negative clues. We're in deep shit already. Two wrongs can't make a right. |
Secretly arm who?? Owerri youths?? E be like say you never know wetin you dey talk. Boko Haram bad o, but I never see anything wey go worse pass an army of Owerri youth, and armed too. They will do their job, and eventually, turn on the fingers that fed them. |
Isn't it obvious that you must be the only 'Ibeku' personality on Nairaland?? The names you're calling sound like archaic titles from the core of barbarism. And the scenario you constantly whine about paints your mind as a confused personality. If you can't walk up to whomever is trying to 'destroy' your 'Ibeku' for you, you can as well write your grievances on a nice sheet of paper, either shove it up your a$s or make a paper boat with it and sail it to China. |
Easy.. Try Again. |
I used to have this issue with my mom when I turned 16. I refused to let her tell me to cut my hair. She handed the matter over to my father, and that was it. I would tie a scarf to bed so when I awoke, the hair would be flattened. But as time went by, I discovered that keeping an afro is stressful and capital-intensive. Even plaiting it is far more distubing. Besides, not everyone would appreciate your appearance, definitely not working organizations with a respectable front to protect. After all, you'll most probably cut your hair in the near future, why raise dust now? |
