Lucasbalo:I want you to list the actions you have taken to expose the failings of the president and how he should combat them instead. A link or so would do to direct me to where you've laid out constructive information in that aspect to convince me that you're not one of those who obstructs the path their mothers went to the market through. If you have none, then you better put your time to good use. Booing as if it solves their predicament. Very useless and silly. Be careful what you wish for. One revolution, Boko Haram, is going on right now. I don't think we're finding it funny. |
CaptainCodes:Even the bible preaches that we should remove the log from our own eyes so as to see clearly to remove the speck in the eyes of others. If I reciprocate your insulting nature, I am as guilty as the folks I'm telling to treat authority with respect. So, you can expect pigs to fly easier than expecting me to stoop that low. Ciao ![]() |
Hmm.. Even the devil is becoming worried. With humans like this, there may be a rebellion or mutiny in hell. I won't be surprised if the devil applies for extension of endtime date. Who would want their visit? |
Let the number show the positions of the required letters. 1 mobile = 1st letter = M 3 books = 3rd letter = O 2 roars = 2nd letter = O 1 night = 1st letter = N 4 balls = 4th letter = L 2 lighters = 2nd letter = I 1 ghost = 1st letter = G 1 hat = 1st letter = H 3 watches = 3rd letter = T Answer = MOONLIGHT No need to form braniac. *clears throat*.. As a professional seasoned veteran atheist, I must say when I see posts like this, I laugh hard till tears fall off my eyes. I laugh at you for posting this, and expecting an answer from me. I laugh so so hard. I laugh because I have no idea how to answer this question. I mean, I may talk about 'luck' and 'timing' and 'science' but you already know those are excuses, so I just laugh to cover up my confusion, and hopefully, make you give up without getting an answer. Well I'm no atheist. And I have no damn idea what goes on in that skull of theirs..if they exist ![]() |
Saw this on Al Jazeera yesterday. This man is really brave, venturing into the lion' den at will. I admire the Muslims' tolerance as well. I thought he'ld have been shot on one of these trips. But the security there was Pheew!! These are good signs for World peace. The leaders are not at each others throats, but the followers are always battling, even on Nairaland. Once and for all, Muslims, stop hating Christians!! And Christians, stop thinking every Northerner and Muslims are potential Boko Haramists (not sure if this is possible though). Now let's kiss and make up.. Muslim ladies first tho'..to the Christian guys.. *whispers..* Hope you have no bombs on you, babe? |
baLLoTBOxX:I'm sure you're a stranger to hierachy. You want us to put the senate on the hot seat too? The same senate that he controls and even disrupted their session due using the police force?I guess I made that clear. And I can see how much control he wields over them, considering the 120+ lawmakers signatures to vote him in for second term My friend, you school in france and not nigeria cos a nigerian student would know things are worse under this administration.I wish I did. Don't you wish you did? Unfortuately, those are wishes. This is reality. Peaceful, yet there were chants of 'Ole'. That is very very placating indeed. Nothing provocative at all. You should adopt that nickname sometime. |
oxladewelbz:How about you just transfer a useless player from your team to another team for that amount via editor? Just a guess as I am yet to play this game. |
baLLoTBOxX:Metaphor, I pray you. Metaphorical dispositions. I directly implied the toothless actions. protest is the key to getting your voice heard in a country where the government says " I don't give a damn". Pls stop using the word violence cos the video showed how peaceful the protest wasThe mule-headedness of the government isn't lost on me. He's just one man, GEJ. What about the Senate? 469-man committee who get things done, why isn't anyone poking at them for fun even as they guzzle 240million each? It's all about GEJ because he is at the top. Some schooled in France, but I schooled in Nigeria. And in Nigeria, nothing separates Students' protests from Violence, except in Private Unis maybe. so cos he doesn't want to be tagged as a leader persecuting opposition, he's now encouraging even his own allies to steal?I wouldn't know. I really don't like swinging swords blindly. These aren't things I can accurately prove. I have little idea who stole what and how GEJ knew comprehensively but did nothing. |
Get a Mercedes 911.. Excellent for Nigerian roads..and combating careless drivers too. |
baLLoTBOxX:And where is your liberation? You sound no different from our ancestors, armed with sticks and stones, who ran at full speed to attack men with guns and died like chickens, leaving the young and inexperienced with nothing but bitter memories which they relive under captivity. What is the essence of a battle which achieves nothing? A pen is mightier than the sword. Why use violence when influence is a better option? Why go to school to learn if your decision making betters that of your ancestors only by the clothes you wear? Which student won't boo the current president? Is it the student that spent 6months at home during ASUU strike cos this government promised and failed or the same OAU student who just had their school fees hiked? Remember these students also heard the stealing is not corrupt words from this government. There was a dialogue to this effect wasn't there? In your own homes, do you resort to violence for instant solution to issues or you talk them over? And after talking them over, do you ram on for instant success or you give time for it to sink in? You can't treat your country like your home, you can't be patriotic, yet you expect instant successes like impressive countries, right? And in a country that has human rights and a population that beats that of your family over 30 million times!! You mean you support stealing not to be corruption, missing $20billion, death of EFCC and ICPC, commotion in NASS etc?I'ld appreciate it if you contradict a whole sentence, not just part of it. I stated clearly the practice which I am in support of. Besides, during OBJ's regime, activists like you saw the EFCC as a means of the government getting at oppositions, and now, you want it back?? This is exactly the reason I love his method of leadership. It is impossible to please every one, especially those with biased mindsets from birth! you can't blame them, blame the administration that has so many dirts emanating from its chambers.I don't blame anyone for any thing that affects me, lest I spend my whole life blaming, and never do anything about it to emancipate myself. A citizen strives to make his country better. An educated citizen should even do that more effectively. Play the blame game our fathers did and let our time pass so our children's condition will be similar to ours. Someday, I hope to be president. When I become one, I would like the citizens to know that I am just one man in one place at a time and that my success lies in everyone being my image everywhere they are so that together, we can bring the changes we desire. |
Considering that Muslims(and Northerners) are really going through a rough patch now, it will be unfair and inconsiderate to blame this on them. But if one must say the truth, it is hard to isolate Muslims from Boko Haram. Some reasons are; 1. Muslims are known to be violent for religious causes all around the world. This even gravitates towards political reasons. 2. When the agenda begun against Christian Churches, little sympathy was recorded from the 'rival' religion. 3. BH is widely viewed as a game to oust GEJ from seat. The reason is hinged on Islamic braces; to dispel Western Education and embrace *****. But all in all, no one is happy when a fellow human dies. No Nigerian, that is, religions aside. |
Shooting, Bombing, Killing, every-damn-where!! Abeg, make we still remain reach 2015 oo.. Na humans, not corpses, wey fit vote. If you kill everybody ni, who go vote you in and who you go lead? |
Hahaha.. Funny act. He pleads after being deaf to the plight of the praying deceased?? Was that part of the plan? I thought they were to be fearless, heartless murders. This is definitely out of script. But if I were to have a say, I'ld not kill them, but hand them over to the authorities for information extraction. But then, I'm not from Northern Nigeria. |
'Otueke' by road .. I'ld think a good strategy to win is getting to know your enemy well.. |
That man is really something. One wife is a handful!! But 39?? Lord have Mercy! |
Don't even think I'll waste my precious megabytes in watching 'students (we hope)' who have little idea what being 'educated' means. Western Education is bordered by civilization, therefore students should ordinarily be civilized. Any student who boos the current president has questionable intentions, and finding such in a school environment is as unfitting as wool on a cockroach's skin. I won't say I'm wholly impressed with the president's actions. But having being in leadership positions, I'm in full support of his practice. One must not be hasty to make decisions as it isn't just about oneself, but the majority of the followers as well. Also, it is impossible to please everyone, so, what gives? And to think Sahara Reporters were once acclaimed to be neutral?? They're showing so much haste to ridicule the president in front of the world. Uncivilized, I must say. |
It's not a big deal jare. So special preference should be given to his polling unit because he registered there? Blame poor management and that should be that. |
The lesson I have to share is the key to a successful relationship with a lady is tolerance and patience on the male's side. And if you do not desire a long term relationship with any lady, don't show either of these. |
The phones should be put on silent rather to avoid blocking off communications. Technology should make life more convenient. Whenever I wake up at night, I check my phone, before throwing it under my pillow and going back to sleep. No one knows. |
Some of the things you posted are odd.. |
This is culled from the 'Friend zone and Nice guy' topic on frontpage. ..you don't belong in the home, the kitchen and the bedroom and nursery. It's that simple..He said this in reference to the role of an orthodox woman as a way to contradict the ladies who aren't seeking quality men. Woman, not man. Arose from a girl-child, not a boy-child. Note that while addressing a 'modern' problem, he used what you call 'outdated' to drive home his point. You really need to reconsider if the world has changed that much. |
Stillfire:When was the war won? Where exactly is it being won? In your 'dream' homes, I guess? Well, enjoy your fantasies while it lasts. I just hope this piece makes the heartbreak lighter. I care. If holding both sexes accountable for marriage and the running of the home is what you feel threatened by..Draw a straight line between the bone of contention and this part. |
See ehn, if PDP & APC no go let person drink water drop cup for this country, na God go help me erase all of them and all their supporters comot one touch. How everyday, na so so yeye news? If no be scatter building, na fight.. Yawa yawa everywhere, wetin nah?? And some mumu people go still dey support these old papa wey still dey do wetin people leave for primary school. Person wey say Naija people no go chop garri, im water no go boil ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
^^^^^ See beef sha.. @ Stillfire .. You speak of awakening. I'm afraid it is most of you women who're living a 'virtual dream' that needs to awaken. The purpose of this thread is to pull your existence away from this non-existent world you claim to belong to. What you call 'Africa years ago' is still the world, 100 years to come. What has been suppressed is the oppression of women, which is more of humanity than reversing the world order. So spare yourself some ficituous heartbreak in future, moaning about nine months burden and nursing till current age blah blah blah. The pride of manhood will never die. It has been there even before the days of Jesus on earth. The 'boy-child', African or not, has his future in front of him, and that future won't let him become a sissy or dwell in your kitchen either. |
I'll love to rephrase a section of that representation which you may have unintentionally overlooked 3. Consistently learning new ways and exploring the unknown in search of what they need, even if they present strong personalities already. That above is one of the qualities of the orthodox 'man' we speak of. Talk of the minority few, men have a predominant disposition. It obviously isn't the 'dream quality' of the man these opposition speak of. These cooks, stylists and all others you mention are people doing things out of the ordinary, just like female vehicle experts and the rest. It certainly cannot speak for the bulk of manhood because majority of us would frown at these. As you can see, that is a feminine world you're speaking of. And of those in such professions, I can adequately alienate those who're in that profession due to circumstances from those in it for the love of it. Note that had circumstances been ordinary, they'ld rather be doing something else. |
This is in appreciation of that 'friend' of yours you met on Nairaland who has given you much more than you expected from anyone here. Post the username, and a brief appraisal of his/her unrivalled quality(ies). My gift here is honeydear . A humble, conversational lady with a very big heart. Keep it coming. Comment and Share. |
soonest:Nah.. One of the lessons I picked up along the way is not to be dependent on my woman for any reason. If at all it has to be, it will be the other way round. I may or may not show interest in how she spends her cash, but enforcing my rule upon her earnings is way off mark. |
coogar:Hahaaa.. But for 14 years on the wrong side of Kirikiri, I'ld have invited you over for a date and planted a huge kiss on your..err..forehead, I guess. That's how I love the truth.. Plain, simple and brash. |
crackhaus:As plain as broad daylight. I just hear of it being said, but it being applied is a whole different ball game. Anywhere something of this nature happens is out of the ordinary. My man, another mistake people make which you also unknowingly did, is ascribing this way of life to Africans - it is a universal thing. Now that you mentioned it, I'm trying to figure out where I've come across such being a norm in my encounters with foreign culture. None comes to mind. |
carefreewannabe:I'ld have to post the "Opinion" here again. That is the reason. |
