Hello everyone, Please, I need your guidance. My niece, who has been living with me since birth, just finished secondary school and wants to study nursing. I am looking for a good and affordable nursing school where she can apply. We are based in Ogun State, but I would prefer somewhere not too far because of the security situation. Thank you. |

Good morning Please My daughter, aged 21, just finished her nysc, but she wanted to go for her msc in Canada, but a colleague of mine advised we consider the USA instead because there are more opportunities in the USA than in Canada. He even said he had to move his child studying in Canada to join his other children in the USA. Please, I need your opinion on this. Note: My daughter read computer science for her first degree, and she is very good at programming. |

Please, I need help regarding my SOP. Please who can help me review my SOP, especially my home tie, since I want to go with my family? I once had a denial in 2021, as VO said he was not convinced that I would leave Canada at the end of my studies, according to my GCMs note. |

sudo1986: I guess you wouldn't want to shoot yourself on the leg. You will give your activities from 10years ago in your application. So, if you wouldn't disclose your MSc in your application, what have you been doing in the UK, and what proof do you have to back it up?
Similarly, UK offers high level of Education like other developed countries. Therefore, going for a lesser degree in Canada is a red flag, unless if the lesser degree is for career progress, and if you gonna use it to augment your qualification at work.
However, you can go for another Masters degree in Canada if and only if your MSc in the UK is a one year course, and the MSc you are going for in Canada is a research-based course. You can always justify it.
Finally, if you are applying from abroad, you must show your residents permit or any document that will show your legal residency. You must also not apply with a visa validity less than 6 months.
The truth is that crossing from one country to Canada is a total red flag, especially if you came to your present country through schooling, and instead of going back home, you want to cross to Canada. That is a no-no. You must have a convincing reason for not applying from your home country.
Note: I am not an expert. These opinions are mine and mine alone based on my experience.
Ire o!!! J really appreciate your contribution.. thank you so much |

ShowYoung: If you are silent on your MSc, IRCC would ask about what you are doing in the UK. You are actually on a study permit. You should build your application on whatever qualification you are pursuing in the UK. Thank you so much..I really appreciate |

Please I need help 🙏🙏
I am currently doing my MSc in the UK but plan on going through the study route again to Canada. So I will be putting up my application from the UK, but I would have finished the UK MSc programme before the Canada application.I want to pursue a postgraduate diploma in a related course similar to the one I am currently studying in the UK.Is it advisable to apply for PGD in a related course to the one I am doing in the UK, or can I be silent about the current MSc since I would have completed the UK MSc before I filled out the Canada application? Also, is there a point when filling out the Canada visa application where I will be asked to put the type of visa I am on in the UK, or would they ask anything like that?Note: I was once denied a study permit due to financial issues and also because I applied for a diploma course in 2021. |

Yes, we relocated to the UK via the study route. Please tell me how I can apply from my home country since I am in the UK. josephb: Hi there,
I am sorry to hear about your visa refusal, i would like to ask, did you relocate to the UK via the study route? Although many people applied from the UK and got approved, whilst others got refused, it is often advisable to apply from your home country where you have many ties.
You can apply as visitors, but it might raise some concerns to the VO, especially just being refused a study permit. I often advise people not to relocate on Visiting Visas.
The percentage of getting a job is solely attached to how hard you can try and luck.

Good day all! Please, my family (a family of four) just relocated to the UK from Nigeria last October, 2022, via student visa with the plan of moving to Canada. I once applied to Canada in 2021, but my study permit was denied.Someone advised that we try a visitor or tourist visa to Canada.
Please, how good is this, and if we go through this route, can we sure get a job, and can the children go to school? |

[quote author=Channah1 post=1160992 I don't really have any contacts per-se. Where's your location?
Anyways, just board a bus going to health center oyingbo. Get down at the last bustop inside the market. Then go to that angle opposite UBA which is the main wing of the market, that's where youll see mallams that sell original dry fish and also the women selling correct stock fish.
Ask them where theyre loading okoko bus, that line where they are loading okoko bus is opposite UBA, that's where you'll get all types of fish, stick fish and crayfish.
Then for big crayfish and cheap dried akpo, go to the front of the filling station at the other side of oyingbo. Those ilaje woman normally display dried akpo and theirs is cheaper.[/quote]Thanks mama God bless you |
