They might not be Nigerian by virtue of the passports in their possession but the are definitely Nigerian by origin.

kingoflag: OBAMA IS FULL AMERICAN! He has never sought for, or claimed, Kenyan citizenship. His father is the Kenyan.

When will you guys realize that not everyone believes in your African, tribal "Youre from where your dad was born".
Are you sure?

Why do the British media keep stressing the criminals' origin, then?

Krucifax: We should all stop trying to deny what the reality of the situation is. Yesterday some Nairalanders were putting op posts denying that they are Nigerians etc.

We have just found out that these two are yoruba men born in Nigeria and then emigrated to the U.K! My point is,they are very much Nigerians and we as a nation need to look in the mirror and ask ourselves some very hard questions. Why do we seem to breed some of the worlds most vile characters? Why do we consistently seem to be known for more bad things than good ones. The moral fiber of many Nigerians is very questionable and if you deny it,you are only deceiving yourself as the rest of the world seem to have made their minds up about us.
God bless you real good!

I had said in an older thread that Nigerians are predominantly criminalistics in nature but I was shouted down as a self loathing person who wished ill upon Nigeria but the truth surrounds us all. Nigeria and Nigerians are rotting away but rather than sit up and start to face hard facts and embark on reorientation we would rAther brush it off as a one off event.

Now is the time for us, this current generation, to start doing some serious work to redeem our image. It might take decades but we will get there. Clearly the generation before us have failed us, but the posterity of Nigeria now rests upon us.
PoliticsRe: Ihejirika - Soldiers Leak Information To Boko-Haram Insurgents by Desola(f): 8:52am On May 24, 2013
AnanseK: General Ihejirika is heating up the polity and may actually have his own agenda. if military movement information reaches the terrorist how is he sure it is through his soldiers and not through Boko Haram effort or other supportes of BH? What value does he get as a commander by telling this information to the public? Why can't he search for the leakage through his intelligence and seal it if he is really a gallant and brave soldier with the unity of Nigeria in mind? In my opinoion this announcement by Ihejirika is cowardly and defeatist coming from the most senior military officer - unless of course he is pursuing an agenda.
There are saboteurs in every war, fisrt world war, second world war,the Vietnam war, the war in the Congo and every war and a General is morethan expected to know that. I wonder what version of training manual they use to train Generals in the Nigerian army now.Does he - Ihejirika, expect us, civilians to go into the army and solve this well anticipated challenge?
I like this. People are thinking.

KASOFARI: NIGERIA AND THE 40 CHARLATANS
Why has Boko not had any real proper Power and influential Government target since.... LOL.

na so so poor people den dey kill since....

Whoz fooling who.....?

Just 2 days and dey are saying they are seeing results on Boko... very funny a movement they created /
has bn running for years just quelled within 1 week like that. Doyin Okupe must be a joker sha....

If they could do this why allow them to grow and do us so much damage over the last few years..

Boko is an internal creation by them, GBAMK, they grew out of hand just like Massob and d past militants dey had to buy their arms off them back in d days for money/amnesty.

Im not fooled even if others are fooled....

I know Nigeria well enough....

Field marshal Doyin Okupe is now reporting war front success as if the people on ground have filed a security report withing 2 days or is it a week of Stste of Emergency

what is the National Security Adviser doing... drinking beer or what?

What a bunch of liars, deceitful and jokers they all are
2 years ago they told us same lies like this... this is now 2013 and they suddenly have woken up from their slumber after needless blood/lives have bn shed.....GOD will judge them all

....https://www.nairaland.com/762912/nigeria-chad-niger-set-launch....

Nigerian military no more the nation defenders...

1. The Nigerian military turned into political charlatans of GEJ administration
2. By using the military as a tool to achieve his devilish 2015 plus….. 6 years agenda.
3. Harassing, killing innocent Nigerians in a simple bid to curve insurgency (BH) created by same man to achieve this agenda.
4. Unprofessional and crude approach by the military to tackle small but elusive targets like BH guerrilla fighters. (Killing a mosquito with an axe!)
Another intelligent one with a discerning mind.

onomeasike: like the north or hate them, they ve brought down this govt(quoting chief ezeife-an igboman),the govt led by gej is alienated by gej because most northerners though wrong, believe he rigged the 2011 election, while they are trying to get over that, his govt increased the pump price of petrol price and the mischief-makers made a political kill out of.fast forward to 2013,the govt sent jets to drop bombs on their land! Those southerners who failed to understand fully the colossal error made by this govt will soon realise. It was in this same nigeria that mend took their struggle to atlas cove in lagos south-west and justified their attack in yorubaland and even called the bluff of yoruba leaders.Boko haram will take their fight to the next level and just like it was with mend attack,it will likely takeplace outside the north and the southerners saying and writing 'kill them all' will hear it.GEJ should not have taken the military option,he was warned enough.for God's sake, militants who took up arms against govt have been rewarded with billions of naira, how do you now say crime does not pay.Or as rightly advanced by northerners,if boko haram are ijaws, the president will not authorize airforce to bomb their base undecided
Your head is there!

amarilo: They are not taking care of there people in this case, brits dont marry two talkless of 5. They should stop providing houses and handouts to people with more than one wife. Its cheat to say the least but then they want to sound politically correct and complain at the back stage.
Well, true but in so doing, their white natives also become disenfranchised. I blame this whole shenanigans in part on the labour government and in part on the UK's EU membership.

Labour government for allowing the influx of immigrants and EU membership because the Supremacy of the EU law curbs the power of the UK from deporting radical Islamists and terrorists from their country.

amarilo: They started migration. Moreover nobody begs them to give benefit to multiple wife "marrier". Let the govt stop it if it does not benefit them qed. They define democracy as govt of the people and for the people yet they dont want to listern to the people once they enter govt.
Why should they stop taking care of their people just because greedy immigrants came in to come and take unfair advantage of their soft touch?

The welfare system was created to help their citizens to get back on track after the 2nd world war not for immigrants to come and abuse.

Morayo747: I concur..I always say this but noone ever agrees. To be fair white Brits are far more tolerant than we Nigerians. We don't tolerate people with a different language let alone different colour of skin. If this had happened in Nigeria no prizes for the number of innocent people who would have been lynched by now in retaliation.
Don't count your chicks before they hatch yet though. It is still very early days yet.

coogar: so you don't think the illegal maiming of 90 policemen demanded the president to make a speech? 90 officers of the law murdered in cold blood?

truth be told - you would be angrier than the EDL if you were born white. immigrants have ruined the system for the white brits. look at everywhere in london. east ham is like saudi arabia, woolwich/peckham is like alaba market - most of the white people living in that neighbourhood years ago have all fled to the countryside.

we nigerians cannot take 1% of what the brits have tolerated in the last 20 years. they work 9-5 only to be taxed to take care of asian polygamists with 6 wives. the brits can't marry more than one - the immigrants are shipping more than 5 wives and all the 5 wives can claim benefits! is this fair?
Couldn't have said it better!!

nope they speak yoruba but not yoruba ...most of all not nigerians
In your understanding, they are not Yorubas because they are not Nigerians? I'd have you know that they are more your brothers than other ethnicities in Nigeria. Just because a map divides them into French colonial territory does not stop them being Yorubas. You are not more Yoruba than them.

Kini itumo ade to ba oloja? Se ki ade to de ni oloja ti wa ni abi kini koko ade to ba oloja?
Ade does not have to be the crown in this context but could be a market goer who met the retailer.shoit! That was a direct translation and a terrible one at that but I hope you got my drift. cheesy

ba7man: What's wrong with the UK Policehuh Both of them deserved head shots regardless of their nationality.
Nah...that would have been the easiest way out. They need to see their lives rot before their eyes. Suffer sexual and grievous bodily harm in prison and be made to live in perpetual fear of their lives being taken. That I think is the best punishment.
PoliticsRe: Michael Adeboloja 'Mujahid' - One Of Woolwich Attackers Is A British-Nigerian? by Desola(f): 10:12am On May 23, 2013

It would relieve the pain a tad but it doesn't stop him being black and that blacks in the UK are gonna get the slack for this.

ndu_chucks: Who the hell vetted this twitter post which is a disgraceful attack on Nigerians? Your self esteems are so low that you'd accept such clap trap before any independent confirmation of the story.

As far as I am concerned, the story was planted by enemies of Nigeria until the authorities tell us who the culprits are. All we can confirm is that one of the criminals is a has a very deep British accent. Lets not help our enemies.
And when it is confirmed that he is Nigerian?
PoliticsRe: Michael Adeboloja 'Mujahid' - One Of Woolwich Attackers Is A British-Nigerian? by Desola(f): 10:07am On May 23, 2013
django1: And BTW the name "adeboloja" even though sounds very yoruba holds no real meaning in yoruba and I've never heard anyone by that name before, maybe a yoruba of togolese or beniniose like someone said earlier sha, I don't know, but it seems no one else bears that name as facebook search brings no result for such name!

Maybe his name is adebolaji ?!
Ade- ba- oloja.

Makes perfect sense to me.
