Red-Light:But those people are mostly Yorubas too. |
django1: And BTW the name "adeboloja" even though sounds very yoruba holds no real meaning in yoruba and I've never heard anyone by that name before, maybe a yoruba of togolese or beniniose like someone said earlier sha, I don't know, but it seems no one else bears that name as facebook search brings no result for such name!If he were a Yoruba beninoise, would that stop him from being Yoruba or would it make his act less heinous? |
lalaosky: Don't blame the parent bruvThere is sending a child away for better education and there is actually raising that child. Nigerian parents are fond of palming their responsibilities off to boarding schools or sending their wards off to far away lands while hiding under the cloaks of "but I'm trying to make site you turn out to be the best". Ask yourself: how many of these children actually have relationships with their parents? When you trace their backgrounds, you find that their parents are either diplomats, business men and women who globe trot and have little time for their children and ate just so grateful for the existence of The UK or US and boarding schools who can take the burden of raising their wards of them while they console themselves that it is because they Re trying to give them the best. |
babe_online: we all know a black man cannot be as British as the white man but how many British born Nigerians will go out and call themselves Nigerians and not Britons. Right from time I knew all you were talking about but it all boils down to the fact that if Nigerians are not proud to be called that, Nigeria will not carry their cross for them...and apart from that, people that go to the UK and US to have their children partly go there so that their children will be regarded as Britons or Americans and also so that they can enjoy benefits as a result of their child being a CITIZEN OF THAT COUNTRY.I have left the zoo, so no longer attending to animals. I do hope another vet comes to sort you out though. Hang in there, help should arrive shortly. |
babe_online: as I have said before you are an angry black woman and I think the reason for this is because I said the truth about that dude being Britains problem and not a Nigerian one. Yeah that is the truth and I am not going back on it. I talked about the fact that that dude must have being brainwashed thoroughly and then when I see a comment under it, what do I see? THE TRASH YOU WROTE! I am sure your mom is one of those women that are only interested in aso-ebi thats why that was the only thing that came to your mind. Yes that dude was radicalised in Britain and he is Britains problem. Nigeria has its own issues, admits them,(''All those cult boys in Nigerian higher institutions who decapitate another's heads'') and is working hard on it but what we dont want is Black Britons forcing us to accept them as our own responsibilty, tufiakwa! Now go and sleep or go to hell!!!!Suit yourself. I am very allergic to stup1d people who continue to wallow in idiocy and it seems those negative qualities have permanent residence in your faculties. Pardon my inability to spot them very early on. |
justwise: I have to disagree with you, nobody wants to associate with evil, if the guy had invented the next best machine everybody including you will be quick to trace his Nigerian route, why are you not accepting him now as a Nigerian and want the UK to do so? You are basically doing what you accused the UK of doingBrilliant!!! |
Aigbofa: You are absolutely right Desola. But the fact also remains that if this guy had won a medal of honour fighting for her Majesty, Nigeria will not even be mentioned close to his name. Why?Maybe because they know the truth and you do also that your Britishness starts and ends only on passport and that indeed the land does really and truly belongs to the white and no amount of foreign immigration would take away that fact. Africans, once they do away with this notion of being British or Americans (by virtue if birth or naturalisation) can start to instil some real African values in their children. Stop being the copy cats of the world. Stop trying to be more British than the British or being more Islamic than the Arabs rather start taking pride I. What makes us unique. Stop being so fixated on oil because the white man calls it black gold and stop going crazy on looking like Kim kardasian because America has set that as the new standard of sexiness. Maybe when we get back to the truth, tell ourselves some home truths that we have lost our ways and start to retrace our steps then we can start to heal and become whole again. Right now we are suffering from identity crisis as clearly displayed on this thread. To a white man, a black man is only as good as the gold in his land, the diamonds in his Sierra Leone and the crude in his Niger delta. A Blackman can never be as British as the British. |
berem: That means he is a Nigerian! He wasn't born in Britain. He is not a Briton. I remember sometime ago when a black guy bearing a Nigerian name precisely Yoruba was arrested in Japan for killing a Japanese cab driver, he was born an American! the media never said he was a Nigerian but an American.Oh no! But he's in possession of a British passport so he must be British (sarcasm). |
babe_online: above all, his attitude and all he said shows he has being thoroughly brainwashed.Yes, because mothers or prospective mothers like you leave it up to the government or pastors or imams to raise you children while you worry about the next aso- ebi. When the boy then ends up commiting crime you try to absolve yourselves of any wrong doing by forcing his stup1d "Britishness" down everyone's throat proclaiming that he was radicalised in Britain. All those cult boys in Nigerian higher institutions who decapitate another's heads must also have been radicalised in Afghanistan, ko? When Nigerians start to look inwardly and tell themselves the truth that they have lost their ways, maybe then, we'll start seeing hope of getting somewhere. |
queenvic: WHAT I SAW ON TELEVISION LAST NIGHT WAS ABSOLUTELY BARBARIC !!! LONDON HAS BECOME LIKE AFGHANISTAN ! Imagine a man stood in the Street with Red blood hands, holding a Machete after slaughtering a human being in the Street! God forbid, but i fear repercussions by Anti Black groups in UK! Living in this Cold Country will never be the same again. DEFINITELY Our relatives in Nigeria may have more chance of getting Visa for Afghanistan than to visit us here! This is a tragedy for every ethnik group in UK whether Black, white, African or Asian !! Condolences to the family of the dead.***** ISLAM ! ISLAM ISLAM WHYYyyyyy ?? WHY SUCH BLOODSHED IN LONDON 2013 !!! Chai Tuffiakwa ! Chineke mere ebere OOO !!!!Sickening, very sickening indeed! |
tdade: You Gbadun rubbish! He is a radicalized terrorist because he grew up there. Yes, could can still have been a criminal had he grown up in Nigeria, but an Islamist terrorist? Pleeeeaaaasssseee. If he won a Nobel, they'd also claim he's of them. So now that he's a terrorist, he's also of them. END OF.If it was near impossible to believe that a Nigerian could ever be a terrorist, a la Abdul Mutallab, what makes this one different? Nigerians, should stop buring their heads in the sand! Every atrocities that happens in the other parts of the world is possible in Nigeria, if it hasn't already been taking place! The same Nigerians that at one time frowned upon homosexuality, swearing that it would never happen in their lands are now faced with their sons and daughters going on air contesting for "the most beautiful transexual", taking part in gay rights protests et al. i say you all are hypocrites! The earlier you wake up and take a look at yourself (Nigeria as a country) holistically and realise that you are seriously sick is when the healing would begin. Right now, Nigeria and Nigerians are still in a state of denial. We are still in a daze! We never thought our country could be like Afghanistan yet we have our own Afghanistan in the North. Yoruba boys are so respectful, yet one goes on rampage and put a knife to another human being's neck and butchered him like ileya goat. You all need serious introspection. WE all do! |
gothrones: @Desolaose ojare. Your head is there. ![]() |
babe_online: so what is your point please? Try to say something very reasonable because right now you are not making sense. It's okay, stup1d people are understandably stup1d because their cognitive factors are not very sharp to comprehend intelligent posts. |
Red-Light:but you read that rubbish and respond to it. Gravitating towards rubbish must be natural to you. You must be the bin that contains the rubbish, non? |

Hehehe...who told you that I live overseas, babe online? |
jaybeez: Many of the Nigerian/Ghanaian British born kids have a very different outlook on life. Especially the ones that don't visit back home at all. Its like they are lost because the place they are in has no culture. Many of the stabbings and killings among the blacks in London are mostly children born of West African parents. So its not a matter of a British of Ghanaian descent or a British of Nigerian descent, they all the same.Okay, the fact that most of these attrocities are caused mainly by black kids of west African parentage and not by white indigenous kids should make us ask why? Is it because they white kids have better opportunities as opposed to the black ones or are their parents doing something that the black parents are failing to do? What exactly is the problem and please try not to take me down the government responsibility route as i've already been down that line and I am so far not convinced. |
jaybeez: He is not "Nigerian" because that is not how we Nigerians behave. We know a typical Nigerian likes money and high life so much for them to kill themselves or behave in such manner. Too bad he was brain washed into doing such a thing. The same way you Nigerians scream and click your fingers over your heads that paedophilia does not occur in Nigeria, yet, a lot of young girls are being molested and put in the family way sometimes by their own fathers and other times, their uncles. Such hypocrites, Nigerians are - such hypocrites! |
ghananotnaija: Even with culture, I think his Nigerian essence played a part. His parents are from Nigeria, so they must've influenced him. A British of Ghanaian descent would never do such a thing.ode! Look at this one? No one is saying his Nigerians parents were partly responsible for the indoctrination but that they failed to notice or act on his change of beliefs and his eventual radicalization. Carry your inferiority complex comot for hia jo! |
tdade: that's besides the point. If he grew up in Lagos, Oyo, Ekiti or any other part of the south(including SS&SE), he's less likely to turn out like this. My point is this: everything he is today, he is because of them(UK). Would you ever hear of a true yoruba or Igbo man beheading someone in the name of Islam? No, but they can behead for tv and dvd or for money ritual or even just because they have a knack for human flesh ala clifford orji. Abegi, as if killing for the above petty reasons make it less greivous than on the basis of terrorism. If you would do it for 2 thousand naira, you would do it a million times over for a belief, however erroneous or irrational that belief is. That is what that satanic boy has done. |
coogar: the boy is nigerian - the only thing british about him is probably his place of birth. we are not even sure he was born in britain.exactly o. The boy has thrown his parents into another wahala because now, they face possible removal (regardless of their presumed British Citizenship) on the basis of this serious crime perpetrated by their evil child. Well, good riddance! As Yoruba would say: Omo ti a ko, lo ma gbe ile tako ta. |
babe_online: if he had won gold medals he would not be considered Nigerian. Nigerians will only be on Nairaland and etc talking about how his Nigerian side was not mentioned. From what I can see from all your posts, you support hypocrisy. Go and get a life please. No problem, just waiting for you to take the lead. |
9jadelta: mumuna you i kuku take am resemble. |
Tstark: The name says it all. Lets not kid ourselves, that's not an English name;so lets call a spade a spade. An Englishman knows and English name when he sees or hears it. Even if he didn't commit a crime , the first thing any English man would ask when he hears that name is "where is he from?" You cant wash off your ancestry even if you've never been to the motherland. Naija don kill person for jand ooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!Abeg tell them o. Some people are suffering from delusion of grandeur. They just wanna belong by force! They see racism virutally everyday, whether direct or institionalised ones yet they expect that their having a British passport now means they are fully integrated; fully accepted. Nonsense! All it takes is one policy. Anyway, those who acquired citizenship through naturalisation can now have it revoked if they commit grave criminal offences. Would they do that to a white Briton who say has origins in Zimbabwe, for instance? No! Why? Becuase he has the blue blood as they call it. Na only black man go dey wan die all to be referred to as British! |
tdade: but if he did win a Gold medal, won't the Brits also claim he's of them? Why do BBC keep banging on about his Nigerian roots when he's done something bad then? He grew up there and he's a citizen for crying out loud! Why are they trying to dissociate themselves from him?The same way Lagosians or Yorubas quickly disassociates themselves when someone or people from other regions commit attrocities on their land. At the end of the day, we all bear our papa names. No mater how much we shout one Nigeria, we all know that we are inherently different. The British people though accomodating, know that anyone not of caucasian blood, most importantly not English, Irish, Scottish or Welsh, regardless of the red passport he waves about, is only an acquired Briton. Not an indigenous Briton. All that he is British is really only based on the British passport he possesses and not really a general notion of acceptance. Go figure! |
tdade: As far as I'm concerned, if he was born in Britain, he's British. If he wasn't, the day ha became a British citizen, he became British. Besides, he was radicalized in BRITAIN. END OF.but if he had won gold medals like Christina Uruogu, you would be reminded that he is of Nigerian heritage so he must be Nigerian. All of you speak from two sides of your mouths, anyway. Only a black man would be so proud to declare himself British just because he was born in Britain. Opportunistic people! How many British Nigerian born whites do you see come out to proudly proclaim their Nigerian citizenship? Osi oda! |
Typical Nigerians! Never responsible for their own ill actions! It is always slavery; always racism. Now, it is Islam. Awon hypocrites! |
*Kails*:The same lies you keep telling yourselves yet it is the same Nigerians that engage in armed robbery and go into people's houses to gun them down and/or hack them to death just as this evil boy has done. These same Nigerians kill people for money rituals and mutilate their bodies. These same Nigerians are the Aluu killers or I suppose the Igbo girl killers in Festac were from Estonia. I suppose Clifford Orgi wasn't Nigerian either. Keep lying to yourselves. |
thelastpope10: You are obviously a kid and could end up like that lad one day so I can only feel sorry for you. The root cause of what happened in this case is identity crisis and you are well on your way there. God help you when the frustration starts kicking in!I can see that you are gagging for a b1tch slap but you are in too much of a hurry to get it. It will come to you in no time, don't worry. At this present time, I have the attention of the amiable Prof.Corruption so you would understand why I do not have time for non-entities such as yourself. There is a big fish in the river and I just can't be bothered with shrimps like you. I will let you get off the hook now in an attempt to catch Prof. Corruption's attention. I'm sure you understand. |
