RomanceRe: How Can I Make My Wife Happy Again? by desthan(m): 12:46pm On Nov 06, 2009
sexyLeamon:
That's a pretty vague question. Happy in what way? huh huh is it emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, or financially? There are always two sides to a story. Does she have ample reasons on your part that is not making her happy? Have you talked to her about how she feels or what you perceive how she feels? Communication is the most important in regards to resloving problems. It helps because you see how the other person feels and for all we know we may be guilty of things we weren't even aware of until it's brought to our attention. Be honest with yourself and be ready to compromise and be willing to do what it takes as long it doesn't compromise the marriage bond. Try to take an interest in the things she likes, be aware of her feelings, be patient with her when its that time of the month for her, comfort her when she needs you there for her, and take the lead as a husband to settle matters. that's all I can say, I can't say much, she's your wife you should know more undecided
well spoken sexyleamon, well done

@poster, you see a woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets, the reason for her unhappiness could be, maybe her past, or somthing she did in your absence and afraid to tell you for fear of your re-action, or maybe she isn't satisfied financially/sexually, or stimulated mentally or emotionally. Maybe you fight/argue constantly over little or no issues or you don't give her much attention which may eventually lead to her cheating on you cause inevitably she will meet someone that makes her feel "alive". She will meet someone that makes her feel good, special, loved, respected, desirable etc, then when she comes back home, she becomes depressed. It could also be a weakness in her which she is unable to share for the fear of being rejected, so you must be able to play the accommodating husband by bringing your vulnerability to bear, thereby lowering your defense so that she can come in.

There's something she's not happy / satisfied about, and/or wants to complain about and when they (women) are in this mood, they don't come out clean or go straight to the point, rather they keep going in circles like an aircraft trying to gain momentum before taking off. The demise of a close relative is not enough reason for her to be down. You see women are more discerning and calculative than men and they handle psychological pains much more than us. So you must be very sensitive in dealing with this. Before taking taking her out, doing long/short vacation etc, identify what's the true reason for her being unhappy, then you'll know where to go from there. Place more emphasis on the bolded part of sexyleamon's post, you can never go wrong there.

All the best bru

ThoniaSlim:
Why do men demand sex?

If you answer my question. . .I'll answer yours! Bomboclat!
hon, its in our nature to ask for sex, we were programmed that way. its the animalistic tendecy in us baby, in biology it is called hormones. Whenever a man sees a woman, sex is the first thing that comes his mind. Its is our place to initiate the mating process, while the dating process is very important for the ladies, because its evaluates and acertain the quality of man the lady is about to mate with and eventually live with. So while ladies ask for attention, care, love, appreciation etc, we only ask for sex, and that is not too much to ask for, is it dearie? cool

meanwhile, you got very pretty eyez kiss
Christianity EtcOpic: Lagos Seals Off Redeemed, Mountains Of Fire Over “noise Pollution” by desthan(op): 5:50pm On Nov 04, 2009
Not less than 17 companies and three churches were sealed off by Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) on Friday for flouting the state environmental law.

According to the General Manager of the agency, Mr. Adebola Shabi, the affected companies and churches committed offences ranging from noise pollution, oil spillage, unhygienic production process and gas emission.

The companies, which were sealed off due to oil spillage included Veracity, Rolly Poly, Road Network Transport and Seenak Company Limited, while those for noise pollution included Resnova Advertising Limited, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, two buildings belonging to the Mountains of Fire and Miracle Church.

Shabi explained that the affected companies and churches had earlier been served with abatement notice to report at the LASEPA office within the state secretariat, Alausa, but they had refused to show up for dialogue.

“Over a period of time, we have investigated complaints on sanitation and environmental pollution caused by the operations of these companies and churches and observed that they were not ready to comply with the state law,” he said.

He noted that the affected premises had failed to observe the monthly industrial sanitation exercise and that some of them had obstructed LASEPA officers from performing their duty.

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Permissible To Adapt Secular Music For Worship?? by desthan(m): 10:35am On Oct 14, 2009
Frankly speaking, many people today equate being emotionally moved by music as being moved by the spirit, but these are not the same. Real worship happens when your spirit responds to God not to some musical tone. Infact some sentimental introspective songs sometimes hinders worship because it take the spotlight off God and focus on our feelings. God request that we worship Him in Truth and in Spirit but our biggest distraction in worship today is ourselves, our interest, our worries and what other thinks about us (Fears, Fraustration, Faults and Failures), and once we lets this factors rule our mind set during worship, our spirit life gets de-activated, hence the communication link between us and God gets disconnected, then we find ourselves emotionally gyrating to some so call music either secular/afro juju etc.
