Most banks will process it within 3days. But someone used UBA and it was processed within 3hrs. I used Eco bank last week Tuesday and on Wednesday i was debited. I will advise you check Stanbic, Eco, UBA, Wema, Access and Keystone. Their respective exchange rates will help you decide Optimally: |
Have you checked Abuja centre?? No need jare, I just checked it now and it's fully booked from now till July 27th.. Maybe you will consider Gate crashing and pleading with them. Or pray someone cancels their appointment soon, you will have to be checking the site as often as possible. HollyMadison: |
Anybody from anywhere in the world can pay your tuition fee/deposit for you. The person simply needs to include key details like your Student ID and Passport number while carrying out the transaction. Callmed: |
I don't think fixed deposit will work cos in the image you uploaded, it's written that you should have immediate access to the money in question. The person said the fixed deposit will mature by January next year. How then do you prove that you can pay your bills when school resumes by September. I feel fixed deposit will only work when the maturity date is very close, from now till January next year is a very long time. And UK takes proof of funds very seriously, the ECO doesn't even want to perceive that the money isn't readily available . PS, it's just my opinion ooo, it might work and it might not. Phatkings: |
Eco bank processed my Form A in less than 24hours. I did the transaction yesterday and I was debited today. |
Forex market closes by 1pm ooo, not sure you have time to get the document certified. Why don't you try another bank instead.. What was the rate UBA gave you hapiaka: |
Someone used UBA yesterday and was debited few hours later. So maybe you can try using them. Average processing time for most banks is 3 - 5 working days. Eco bank, union bank, keystone, stanbic seem to be in popular demand as well. caleb00: |
Yes you can.... Your wife will be the one to fill all the necessary information as well as a consent form for her account to be debited. Please remember to go with all necessary documents... Degree certificate, Intl passport, invoice from the school and admission letter hapiaka: |
It shouldn't take time at all so long as you go with all the required documents. I was fortunate Sha cos I didn't encounter crowd at all, I was even able to successfully open a Dollar Dom account as well. hapiaka: |
Yea i think so. I have an account with all the banks i went to sha myk1759: |
If anyone wants to use Form A today, I will advise you go to Eco bank. I have been to 3 different banks today and Eco bank's rate is the smallest. Union bank said 582.24..... First bank said 581.4 and even told me it could take 2 to 4 weeks. I will be going with Eco bank, it's 577.1 and the processing time is 3 to 5 working days. The banker told me yesterday's rate was even 570 as against the 576 Uba and access bank charged. If you can make it to Eco bank today, then do fast. The market will close by 1pm today. |
Thank you very much for this timely update. I also plan on filling Form A tomorrow. I am actually considering Union Bank or Eco, though i am not aware of their present rate. But lots of persons on this thread has recommended the banks. So fingers crossed. hapiaka: |

I had my Interview today with Oxford brookes University for Msc Mental Health Nursing. It went very well, felt more like a discussion and it made me really glad to have chosen the school. It started out as a group interview (5 students and one Interviewer). We watched a video and was told to discuss the issues raised in it. After which we proceeded to a personal interview that lasted less than 5mins. Hoping to hear back from them soon |
AltCtrlDel:Thank you very much. I will do that |
babythug:What course are you applying for?... I applied for their Msc Mental Health Nursing and my interview is slated for Thursday (15th April) |
Salishabib:No you are not doing anything wrong. Paga no longer works for IHS and visa payment. Alternatively you can open a virtual dollar card through barter and fund it by sourcing for dollars from aboki or through friends and families abroad. Or better still, if you have someone abroad then tell the person to help you make the payment directly. |
haywhy17:I am not a student of SH nor did I apply there. Proof of funds is mainly for one year only. That is, if your tuition fee for that year is 13660 then you are to block the sum of 13660 + 9207 in your account. This money can only reduce if you have paid tuition deposit or got a scholarship but even at that, please confirm that this payment especially the scholarship reduction is clearly indicated on your CAS so embassy doesn't find fault with your visa application. (left to me, even if you have a scholarship but you also have the complete full year tuition, just block it). If your tuition fee is 13660 for the total duration of the course, that is 6830 per year. Then you are to show a blocked sum of 6830 + 9207. The only thing that can make the 6830 reduce is after paying your tuition deposit or scholarship. I hope this helps everyone wondering about POF |
DRscience:I applied there for Msc Mental Nursing since January but no update till now. What did you apply for? |
Otokini01:Yes I do.... I did my Industrial training in my school's Health Centre. My PPA was at Ministry of Health Enugu |
Otokini01:What did you study in School? Most schools accept a non science degree but it has to be 2.1 but if you studied a science program then 2.2 is accepted. I graduated with 2.2 from a medical line (Human Physiology) |
Otokini01:I have a Bsc degree in Human Physiology. I applied January 12th but nothing positive yet. Nursing application seems to be taking a longer time. What school did you apply to? I applied to Oxfordbrokes, Plymouth, Gassglow |
osifo4ever:It's quit frustrating jare. Your own even better now sef, in the sense that it has changed from formal check to in progress. We that applied for Neuroscience still haven't gotten any reasonable response o. I even checked now and it's still showing formally tested. The school don tire me and I applied since January. I just pray they reward all these our long wait with Goodnews. |
jimnozi:It's just for u to click on d reply icon at d bottom of d mail and type anything back. could be Hi, hello etc and with that, you and the person that PM-ed u can then exchange mails with ease. |
Ebenosky:I was invited for the exam |
RalphVwede:No I haven't been offered admission yet. It's after d deadline (April 30th), ISGS will then send your documents to the coordinator of d respective Dept you applied for. Maximum 2 weeks you will know your fate. In order words latest may 14th you will know if you were accepted or not. I kind of like the school sha cos they ensure all international students get accomodation, so d day you are resuming u don't hv to worry about being stranded, lolzs. They also arrange airport pickup and other stuffs. Just go tru their website sha then decide on what you want. |
inno4u:Yes I am......... I'm a girl though, lolzs |
omisyk:What course are you going for? You can check out university of Bonn, d deadline is March 31st, you can also check Uni Regensburg, Bremen and Kaiserslautern, their deadline is still far, April 30th. I don't know where you are now but I used nipost to send my documents to Regensburg and Kaiserslautern and it took EXACTLY 2weeks to get there. (just as d nipost lady promised me). I'm currently in Enugu and I can vouch for nipost in Enugu, warri and Abraka. |
Fastest fingers ooo..... Appointment is currently available for may 23rd |
[quote author=jimnozi post=66190215]Booking this time is by Email and all necessary document must be in place before you can think of that. Most compulsory Admission letter from the School[/quote It's from April 1st they will start booking appointments via Email. I booked yesterday for may 8th (embassy added dates in April, May 7th, 8th and 10th as at when I checked) but I had to cancel it cos I wasn't sure my admission letter will be out by then. God being so kind, I was able to book before 8am today, 22nd of may is my interview date. Embassy are adding dates daily, last week it was from may 15th to 18th that they added if I'm not mistaken. let's just keep checking the site often especially in the morning, we never can tell, before Friday they might have added dates around d first week of June. Notin is stopping our German dream this year oo, lolzs. |
osas87:Even with Bsc degree in physiology, anatomy, medical biochemistry and all other basic medical sciences degree, you still won't be accepted. I graduated from d department of Human physiology, so I have 3 out of d 5 modules they requested for, Human physiology, molecular biology/genetics and also Human biology but I was also rejected because of immunology and developmental biology. I was so sure of getting this admission ooo, lolzs. Well they have their choice, my friends in microbiology were rejected for not having sufficient physiology modules and MBC, we in physiology were also rejected for not having sufficient microbiology modules. I just tire for this people jare. Seems it's only those with actual Bsc degree in biomedical science that can actually proceed with d Msc in biomedical sciences. |
Joshua you are right as regards us pursing d same specialization but i didn't study psychology sha, I studied human physiology. Sure we can communicate and exchange ideas. feel free to ask any question as regards the gottingen's application. |
