Nothing new. Things are hard everywhere, but the difference is how the extent people go to trim costs. Many Nigerians are still thinking of hosting parties, expensive burial ceremonies, weddings, birthday bashes, buying expensive phones etc. To cap it, having plenty of children yanfu-yanfu. To be honest, I do not think Nigerians, especially in Southern Nigeria, are suffering o. Instagram and Facebook pictures tell a different story.

Those social media you mentioned are not the standard of measurement to determine the rich or affluent in Nigeria. I have never ate food without meat in my life since l was born neither eating twice or once in a day.l have always ate as many times as possible. Guess what, when l passed thru ile epo and see giants yams and fish or chickens being sold, l would ask,"se na human beings go eat these ones?"This is because things are tough beyond ordinary. You work as if nothing is working. Indeed, there is suffering in the land, only few are making it.

When I first heard about the Sub I was very sad especially when a lot of news site were doing countdown to their Oxygen level, it's really a painful way to die, your oxygen decreasing and you knowing nothing you can do about it and there is no help coming, it's reminded me of the way I was feeling last month been so clinical depressed and feeling so hopeless in everything.
I was really glad when I found out that they imploded and didn't feel any pain or even realise what was coming to them, RIP to them of course but if there was no way of surviving, it is better to die instantly.

This should make many people realise that life is short and tomorrow isn't promise and we should make the best of it
