Raxz: Subject: why is Nigeria as a Nation is still much underdeveloped after over 50 years of her independent? Restructuring is the new trend that is sweeping across every corner in every forms of media in our Nationa today, the voice is too loud, the passion for change is waving across, I am just hopping and again waiting patiently if you both can shied your sward, agree on some common issues and speak in one, give directions on the way forward. restructuring is the way to go mr man. Imagine the states being productive instead of being parasitic on the FG who is in turn depending on the ND. If we don't restructure by the time the oil dries up we will have over 400 million people who don't know what productivity feels like. By that time the the north would av experienced further desertification and there will be less arable land mass to kick start our over-flogged agricultural potential. Think about it mr man. We need to invest instead of hating and propagating divide n conquer messages. |

Mercy Aigbe is a two-timing, backstabbing unrepentant cheat who apparently deserves every ounce of punch she received from Lanre Gentry.
This is just typical of her, lure Lanre into her traps and play victim to the half-intelligent public.
A wife who can not do 'suffering and smiling' with her husband is that one a wife?
I dedicate my FTC to all our mothers who stayed happily with our dads, despite the beatings and maltreatments they received just for the sake of marriage and still made us see our dads as heroes.
Unlike the slayqueen feminist mothers of nowadays. Foølishness fall on you! Are you done talking? |
Politics › Re: How Zamfara Gov. Buys $1m US Mansion, Kept Foreign Accounts For Two Years (Pics) by Desyner: 5:31pm On Jun 28, 2017 |
From what we already know about Zamfara and this Governor: Zamfara was the first state to embrace sharia. Zamfara has the highest poverty rate in Nigeria(source: UN) Zamfara is currently experiencing epidemic(deadly disease outbreak). The governor attributed the disease outbreak to the sin of the people being punished by God(remember there are Christians in that state also).
Now add that to what we are hearing in this thread and you see why we must restructure this country. The people suffering in the effect of corruption are the 99%+ poor followers. The 1%- leaders who are benefitin from our skewed structure are the people like this governor. Illiteracy mixed with bigotry and psycological manipulation is a biggest problem of Nigeria. |

Politics › What Has The Igbo Quit Notice Got To Do With Biafra Freedom Struggle? by Desyner(op): 12:00pm On Jun 28, 2017 |
After the Dangote comment today I realized northerners too have investments to lose. This prompted me to ask whether, the quit notice order to the igbos to leave the north because they dared to ask for Biafra is a sign that Igbos aren't allowed into the north after the event of a break up?
If they aren't welcome back to the north as visitors after a break up, then it shows Dangote is right to tag the northern youths who issued the quit notice as 'useless and irrelevant'. |

Yet with tge same lieful mouth you would demand for an igbo presidency or argue that the North had dominated the presidency.... Isn't that quota system? You want merit system for the masses and quota system for yout elite and you think your obvious hypocrisy will be used as a basis for reforms? Nigeria cannot reform based on hypocrisies that seeks to dominate others by blackmail. Imo a small state in comparison to others currently has the highest number of civil servants in the FG yet the greediness has prevented you from acknowledging this. Stop the show of ignorance. How can a nation develop if the best man does not get the chance to deliver the goods? You have cases of 35 driver being on the payroll of an LGA with one vehicle and expect some other people to keep quite. |

Laive: Equality in terms of compelling the less privileged to be at the same level with the rich? Bro, take it or leave it, Nigeria is so corrupt that government policies are not favouring the less privileged in anyway. Our leaders make the cost of education unbearable for the poor but smart students, yet their own children enjoy education in the white man's country? . It's clear from your opinions here that you'd make the trend worse than it currently is if you were given any major political position in Nigeria. Have a rethink bro! Stop talking trash. Is govt asking them to pay N1m or even 500k? If a student can't pay 20k-100k extra how do they buy textbooks, hand outs, feed or 'sort'? |

How do you manage in that case?

Afam4eva: Hmm, great topic...
Like someone said, since we're in Nigeria, issues like electricity should no longer hinder us because if you intend to create a software, you should have in mind that there won't be power always, so you have to provide an alternative source of power.
I think one of the reasons why software/apps/etc fail is that they're just not good enough and that's because of funding issues and lack of due diligence and proper research. Power issue isn't that easy to navigate. I have been thinking of 12-cells battery to support my laptop for 6-8hrs after a full charge but as I type this I haven't seen PHCN supply for the past 9 days. |

All public unis are. How many go far in intl ranking? None. They only know how to churn out certificates and not good research topics or solutions. Our public uni system is inferior to Vendor based certifications like Cisco, MS, Oracle, HP, and industry regulated ones like ICAN, COMPTIA etc. |
